I will enter, not sure yet on if I will be doing option 1 or 2 yet however.
BUT as I have no scanner, no camera and no tablet for drawing stuff with in photoshop.....
I will make a photomanipulation instead, and see how it turns out ;) 
 
Will post it as soon as I am done.

Ok, I'm done ! :) Got 2 different (pretty much same) versions.
 
Both with a snowy owl in flight sortof, and the moon to the left in the background.
One of them however is without a podium.
And then the other has one.
 
- podium + book = pain to make -  ._.'
