Messenger's story sounds very familiar to me. o3o It sounds like another thing from Scary Stories.

 Tear

See what I did there? My story can be interpreted in two different ways! Both have quite a sad ending though... :P 

I wake up to find myself in another world. Well. That sucks. There was a cave wall, and a dragon! It eyes were blistering with fury. “Why are you here?” It growled. “I dunno. You took me here…I think.” The dragon looked more surprised now. “I did? Oh, I did! So, why did I bring you here again?” My eyes blazed. “I don’t know?! Why are you asking me?! You know, I’m out.” So I jumped out of his cave and landed on a unicorn. This day is not going well. It leaped and jumped and played. Finally I sighed and slapped it on the face. “Take me to Cereal Land, alright, and for the love of god, stop singing!” So, we began our way to Cereal Land when… gryphon. It picked me up and flew across the sky. “Let. Me. Go. Now.” I growled angrily. It dropped me, and I landed on gras.s, “finally, something normal.” I sighed. Then, a huge Ping pong ball thundered my way. This was officially the worst day of my life. I leaped on top of the ball and it rolled on and on, until we finally stopped. Large boxes outlined the sky. CEREAL LAND! I frolicked and played in Lucky Charms and Raison Brand…this isn’t weird at all, is it!

 You can compare literature with visual art. I personally prefer illustration and commercial art as apposed to fine art. However, it's the opposite for me with writing. Give me an Ai Wei Wei instead of a Jim Lee, or at least an Amano.

As the morning sun breeched the sky, and light came flooding into the world, a shadowy figure worked it`s way through the... um... er... forest! that`s it, worked it`s way through the forest, and gloom still hung over a part of the world. then as it aproached the end of the forest, you could see it`s black face, it`s white wool, and it was none other than... um... er... El Sheepo! that`s it, it was none other than El Sheepo, looking for his lost herd... but all of a sudden a heroic, brave (stupid) hero came running to slay the evil Sheepo, as the heros father had been caught and enslaved by El Sheepo him self. So the hero, not the one to kill, used a random morphing potion and turned El Sheepo into, El Drindiano! but what will happen now that El Sheepo can fly... All to be found out in the next book.

Alright, I've decided to be a little more generous and I'm gonna give out pencil/ink (the medium depends on what I feel like, not your choosing) sketches based on your story (or maybe something else if you want? lolidk) as a prize. Pi, 314 words.

   Running home from school with my brother. Running, racing. Heart pounding, blood pumping through my veins, must be first. He’s bigger, stronger, has longer legs. He can push and shove. Small and agile, that’s me, I can crawl into darkness, leap high, sprint fast. But not as fast as him. We elbow each other; we’re neck and neck now. I’ve never been so close to winning our weekly race.

   It’s Wednesday, my favourite day. Is that what keeps me going? The smell, the thought, the look... I can almost taste it in my mouth, dinner.
   I shouldn’t have got so deep in thought. He’s ahead by one metre now... half a metre... two centimetres... we’re neck and neck again. I put on a burst of energy and get slightly ahead. We’re only seven houses away from home now. Six... I count four more gates now... The one with a hedge has gone. The one with the ever barking terrier that lives two houses away has passed. Neighbours... our little green gate and fence, neatly pruned flowers and dusty pathway.... open the gate, past the flowers... we’re not both going to fit through the door...But I’m small aren’t I? He opens it first, but I squeeze between him and the open door. In the hall now... shoes kicked off... can’t run in socks, too slippery. Slip and slide through the living room, into the kitchen. Sat down at the table... Yes! I’ve won! Brother’s just sitting down, panting like I am, chest heaving, breathing fast, pulse beating...
   Mum compliments us on getting home early. I don’t care, really. I want tea, dinner, supper... Mum pours drinks, mm... Homemade lemonade. No! Mustn’t care yet... mustn’t drink... I can smell it... It fills my nostrils and sends a warm, happy shiver through my body. Mum’s over at the oven now... it’s on the table!
