Here is another entry a story

" Stop!" Rose commanded as she jumped off of the rock. " I will not have you kill youselves for me." She said softly, as she gazed into a pair of blazing amber eyes and then into soft green ones. Owl looked angry. " I wan't him dead!" He hissed at the other tom. The other tom stared back, but didn't say a word.  Rose wanted to comfort both of them, but didn't know who to go to first. " Jay please stop this nonsense." She pleaded. " I don't want you getting killed." She added, glancing at Owl. Owl glared back at her. She sighed, unhappily. "Owl may I have a minute with Jay?" She asked. Owl growled but nodded. He walked a few yards away, and watched the deer play in the meadow. "Jay I know you love me, but please. My mother, Angel, thought it was best to marry Owl. I had no say." She said, sadly as she stared at Jay. " If I had the choice I would pick you. But I don't want you to get hurt." She added. Jay spoke then. " I will fight, to the death if need to be, to keep you" He stared stubbornly at her. She shook her head. "You will not win. Owl is bigger, quicker, stronger. But I still pray you win." She touched softly touched noses with him. Jay touched his tail tip to her stomach, which was heavy with kits. " I know these are mine. I fight for them as well as you" He replied and stared at her. She wanted to say more but all she said was "Good luck." and jumped back on the rock. She thought about how she had known Jay all her life, while she had only met Owl a few months ago. Owl had gotten mad after he had saw Jay and her together. He had demanded her to stop, but she loved Jay. Now that love had gotten him in trouble. She sighed and simply said "Begin." They jumped at each other with yowls and hisses. It was soon apparent that Jay was losing. Another step and he was down. But he still fought. But finally Owl bit down into his neck. "Noo!" She yowled and flung herself down the rock and ran to Jay's side. "You were not supposed to kill him!" She yowled. Owl hissed in contempted " Now he won't go running around with my mate." He turned and walked away. Jay was fighting for breath. " I will wait for you and the kits." He said and then he died. Rose stayed there for the rest of the night, mourning for her one and only love.
