 Black Fantasy KnightThese knights come every Blue Moon to fight off the Evil Ebilia Furies and to keep away the black cats. The Furies never stand a chance but these knights are rarely seen, unfortunately.

For this round of the contest I decided to do a mythical creature. The mythical creature I chose was a phoenix, a fire igniting bird. For this round I decided to use the colors red, orange, and yellow since those three colors are typically associated with fire. I also wanted to give my avatar bird like features since the phoenix has many bird characteristics as well. |

There is a rumor, I have heard, of a spirit that walks the halls of a church. Once long ago, it was said to be a temple of a forgotten religion that was lead by a priestess. This was tore down and replaced with the church that stands now. They've said that sometimes her spirit appears. To men, as a bright and warm light, and to women as the scent of fresh flowers.
If the man follows the light, it is said that he is never seen again. And if a woman follows the scent of flowers, she is found crying in the basement with blood of unknown origin on her hands and no memory of the past seven years of her life.
Sounds kind of creepy, huh? Shall we go see for ourselves? |

Souda's Entry: Dress to impress  Dream to Impress:  Misnomingly named Flower "Gods," these little
sprites are most active during the Easero and Kurrabi hunts. They finish
where the Vaspi leave off in early March by pollinating flowers and
guiding migratory species home. Though they seem benign they have a
tendency to cause major harm to human beings and, in rare cases,
stealing the souls of very young children (though no one knows why,
exactly, they do so).
...so they're pretty much xespa/xoria mini-mes during warm weather ehehe

Dress To Impress;; this theme is my favorite! I've always had a love for raves and bright colors <3
Dream To Impress;; I chose a mythical creature, more specifically the Kitsune. The Kitsune is the Japanese word for fox. Foxes are a common subject of Japanese folklore; in English, kitsune refers to them in this context. Stories depict them as intelligent beings and as possessing magical abilities that increase with their age and wisdom. Foremost among these is the ability to assume human form. While some folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others—as foxes in folklore often do—other stories portray them as faithful guardians, friends, and wives.

Mythical creature: Star Siren
These sparkling spirits wander the far reaches of the galaxies, searching for lost shuttles and ships to play tricks on. Their bright, sparkling bodies mimic the bodies of stars that are often used for navigation, which can end up confusing the lost travelers. The spirits' pranks are not all in fun, however. Often, the pilots of these ships are so confused they end up meeting an unfortunate end in a nearby sun. The life forces of these deceased travelers often become Star Sirens themselves, continuing the cycle as these new Sirens go forth to welcome more to their kind.

Dream to Impress: If when you're traveling, you find a beautiful horse standing near the water, take care not to mount it. No matter how weary you are, no matter how much your muscles protest with each step you take, steer clear of this beast. It will appear tame and willing to carry you, but should you be foolish enough to climb onto its back, it will plunge into the deepest part of the water with a sound like thunder. It's known as the kelpie, a malevolent water spirit with a taste for human flesh. Beware, as the monster is a shape-shifter, and may take on many different forms, including that of a human being. |
