Basic background history:  Marvin has been around since the days of old, casually keeping players on the right path and preventing them from being lost.  He spends a great deal of time in the depths of the Atqueen Forest, but he can be found virtually anywhere, if one knows how to look for him.  It's almost like he can be anywhere at anytime.  Not much else is known about this strange, oddly dressed, man.

Basic background history: She grew up in Reiflempor Square, where her parents owned the casino. They didn't have much time for her as a child, so she busied herself with learning the inner workings of the place she'd eventually run herself. She observed the attitude there keenly, and directed her own personality to reflect it. She's a master at most of the games in the casino, as she's been playing them since she was a child, and her clever words are able to convince people to come have a go at the games.

extra (full greeting)~Welcome, mourners, to the valley of lost souls.  I am a guardian of the gateway between the dead and living. They call me Spirit, the guider of lost souls. This is Nyla the angle of the underworld. The laws set by the council of the dead state that nothing living may pass this gateway. But I suppose I can let you look into our land and watch over the souls you lost. Can you hear them? They call for you. I have no magic to bring them back, but I know you will find a way.

Personality:

Spirit is different from other witches you would meet who guard the undead. She has something many of the grave holders don't have: compassion. She is not a dark creature lurking in the shadows. She stands bold in front of her land protecting it from people who would hurt it. She does have a dark side which she must posses in order to protect her land but she understands what loss is and allows onlookers. Though she may only show them their lost souls she is patient for them. The graveyard is her creative side. She created it so that people may mourn their creatu without damaging her world or the living world. Though she can posses a nature within her which many people dislike Spirit has given her life to guide the world of the dead and protect it.

Around Halloween Spirit turns slightly. She grows more hostile to people visiting her graveyard and gateway for they have only the need to create a should so lost from the real world they become deformed. They are still attached in some way to the underworld so Spirit may actually ward off many people from the graveyard though never taking action. She believes they should be grateful to have their creatu live with them. She despises the black market as it has a tendency to sell instant kill potions.

Main qualities of Spirit's character~

compassionate, leadership, brave, protective, empathetic but withholds sympathy, easily attached, creative and at the worst of times hostile.

Basic background history:

It is far from brief, her history. But we all know a story cannot be told forever never the same as it was before. Not much was known about Spirit before her guardian duties started. Spirit was once a nomad of the planet Aquati and spent most of her days lazily swimming around. The day she was chosen to become the guardian of souls came quickly. Most jobs you may choose or you are told about but this came from no one. She was taking a swim in the springs looking for some shells when she drowned. Spirit was a well known Spirit and drowning did not come naturally for her. When she managed to enter the under world she was only to be revived from the dead but never fully. Spirit became a living dead, torn between the two worlds. The council told her that if she guarded the gateway she would some day become a soul once more. They gave her a gift~ to be able to hear the souls and talk to them. Spirit started the task, never aging and never injuring. She decided the role was her destiny almost and the council has never had to convince her again. Spirit found Nya, the Omni when she was first neglected. She helped her reach the gateway to the underworld and decided Nya was a companion she needed.

Creatu personality:

Nyla is the angle of the underworld. Once a lost soul, she was guided and eventual chosen by Spirit to become her companion. Nyla is no demon but has a side to her no one dares mess with. She is protective over the souls who roam the underworld and is sworn to protect them from any harm. Nyla stays by the gate at all times she prefers to watch both worlds at the same time. She is one of the only creatu which can pass through the gateway unquestioned to the world of the living and undead. She has obtained knowledge people only dream of. Her endless devotion to Spirit is what makes her special and favoured by the council. Many souls lose there way through the underworld and can never truly return to their old form if they are resurrected as Nyla was by Spirit. Nyla prefers the dark from the light. She has the talents which were obtained when she truly became Spirits companion. She can hear the souls speaking and whispering. It can drive her mad sometimes but is also a comfort. She is never alone in any world. Nyla's past life is a mystery to the land of the dead. She is a secretive creatu who keeps much to herself. But the Angle of the underworld never stays hostile to the souls. She is a natural communicator. Nyla is also a protector of the graves. She creates them and watches over them. Though nothing living is there she noticed how it helps people deal with loss

Basic background history:

Originally from Scira she moved to Reiflem at a young age to work in the incubators.
She discovered her love of hatching when she found an abandoned egg and took it home, every one thought it was too late for the egg and that it would spoil, but Shelly nurtured that egg day and night until it was ready to hatch. she was so thrilled that she had helped a little life enter the world that she went out finding all the abandoned eggs she could find and perfected her techniques.

Malachi is a huge sweetheart, and, well...sometimes he's pretty gullible, too. He tries his best to give the eggs in the market to people who will love the creatu who are hatched. He adores baby creatu as well, and wants to see all of them have a happy home somewhere.




Basic background history:

Malachi knows what it's like to be unwanted, and he doesn't want anyone or any creatu to ever feel like he did. Before taking up his place in the egg market he would take abandoned eggs to hatch them for himself, like he did with Annalise's egg. While the others he would hatch would go to caring homes, he kept Annalise and has been raising her from that day. She's extremely attached to him, as he is to her, and she had even come from an egg that had just been tossed aside so he's rather adamant about trying to find good homes for the eggs he's in charge of.
