Iambic Pentameter? Is that a type of font? If we were supposed to have a specific font, you might want to tell me, I didn't know.

Here's my entry. Hope you like it. (:
I don’t actually believe this happened. This is just fanciful imaginings. Yes, I do believe in God, I just want to do something more original. (:
This piece is fictional (as you can tell).

In the beginning, there was nothing. Just a endless plain of nothing. I don’t really know how to describe it; I cannot really describe nothing, can I? There wasn’t darkness, nor air. Nothing was there.
But, of course, sooner or later something must come. And from this nothing (nobody quite knows how.) came a giant.
Imagine a person who was a so large, the planets were his playthings. Who played marbles with the stars. He had been cast out and forgotten by his creators, who deemed him incomplete; a trial gone wrong. Yes, he had the same shape as us. But he was made out of a sort of gooey clay, not hardened like the skin today. And he had no features. He had the shape of a nose, but no nostrils. He had the lips of a mouth, but couldn’t separate them. Hands, but no fingernails. Sockets, but no eyes. You get the point.
He was awfully lonely. He couldn’t very well return to where he came from, wherever that may be, without proving first they were wrong about him. So with nothing to do, he sat on nothing.
For awhile (we would call it a year nowadays.) he did simply so. He breathed nothing. He ate nothing. Did nothing. He didn’t have anything to do, cast out in this exile.
Then he realized he had something. He had the clay he was made from. Excited by this prospect, he began to build. He made the stars from his legs, and the planets from his arms. He took them off carefully and then molded them as he saw fit, giving them each different little traits. Personality, some may call it. One planet he loved quite a bit and called it simply Earth. He wanted Earth to have something special, something new. He took off his ears and wrung out the water in the clay. He sprinkled some on a few planets, but most on Earth. Earth deserved the most.
With the remainder of his ears, he created plants to enjoy the water he had bestowed on his wonderful Earth. He then created humans with his chin and animals with everywhere around his eye sockets. The rest of him, except his lips, was spread out around the planets, used for various little things, like many moons. The grand cast-off giant was now a pair of lips.
Beaming at his work, his smile shown so bright, his lips finally parted and a beam of comforting heat and light poured out. So bright and so cheerful.  The ray of wonderful light colored everything. The planets, the people, plants, stars, animals. It was the most wonderful thing.
The light soon faded, but only a little. The planets remained that color and will be until the end of time. As for the giant’s lips?  His bright smile was put to good use. It still smiles down on us today, though by another name. He is The Sun.

((This is my fan-fiction of what happened! Hope you enjoy! ^.^))

The Legend of Zuriel

In the far off planet we now know as Earth, There was a God and a Demon. The God lived above the galaxy, watching over the plants, for every galaxy had a God, but only one had a Demon. The Demon chose to conquer the mere and yet helpless planet. The God agreed to let The Demon have this planet, not knowing what was yet to come. The Demon was pleased, and acted well, for a short period of time. He had asked the God to grant this world life, and again, The God agreed.

Everything seemed fine, until now. The planet once full of precious life, was a waste land. The people of this world were hiding and running from the beast ruining their planet. Life on Earth was about to go extinct, until god came to earth for help. An eight year old boy had been sitting on the ground, weeping for his deceased parents. The god walked up to him and kneeled down beside him. “I see you have lost some people important to you. I can not bring them back, but I can help you stop the the Demon.” He told the boy. The boy looked up at the odd man. “But I am just a eight year old boy. What can someone as weak as me do?” His vibrant green eyes shined from newly shed tears.

The young boy named Zuriel, was taken under the God’s wing, and trained in secret. Once Zuriel was fifteen, he set off the fight the Demon. At the point of his arrival, the Demon welcomed Zuriel with a sly smile. “I thought I had rid this world of pests.” The Demon chuckled. “You are a horrible and foul beast! I will save this planet if its the last thing I do!” Zuriel called out to the heartless man.

The fight lasted many, many years. As Zuriel laid on the ground, struggling to get air in his lungs, the Demon laughed. “Did you really think you, a mortal, could defeat me? Humans are such fools!” he laughed louder. Zuriel began to get up again, trying his best not to fall down, though his body ached and his bones were ready snap. “Tell me human boy,” The Demon paused to examine the horrible conditions the boy was in. “Why do you continue to force your self to fight, yet you know the outcome?” The Demon growled. “Because, I have something to fight for!” Zuriel cried out. “Oh, Do tell.” The Demon said, as if Zuriel was about to say something ridiculous. “To protect the world I once loved!” Zuriel screamed to the Demon.

Zuriel ran, not a single weapon in hand. Just his extending fist. “A puny punch can’t kill me, let alone hurt me you fool!” The Demon said, yet there was a hint of fear in his voice. Zuriel kept running, and eventually, his fist made contact with the Demon. That Demon shattered into a million pieces. Zuriel feel to his knees as a stream of tears ran down his face. And as tear hit the lifeless soil, the Earth began life once again. The God smiled upon the Earth and granted it people once again. Adam and Eve. Zuriel vowed to protect the earth until the day he died.

And The World Lived Happily Ever After. For Now.
