;3; I can't believe it. I thought my story wasn't great but...;3; Thank you so much guys. I got this from my teachers too, that my story was good because even though is was short many details were packed in. Here is my story~
Julia ran through the dense forest, her golden brown hair flowing behind her like a river. Her pale lavender dress snagged on many branches and twigs as she sprinted through the dark woods, not knowing where she was going. You see, Julia had just walked into enemy territory without realizing it. Being banned from her own kingdom because of so-called 'treason', she was not off to a great start. The stitch in her side pulled at her muscles more, but she ignored and kept running. Franny mewed constantly to remind her that she must help stop the corruption of her kingdom, she must. Her lungs begged her to stop, and Julia collapsed. Her lungs burned; the stich just tearing at her side. "Franny...I don't think that we can do this much longer." she gasped. The little kitten mewed and reminded her that she promised to stop the corruption in Kielels. "I will not let you down Roger! I WILL BE BRAVE THIS TIME!!" Julia yelled into the heavens as she lay across a rock. Suddenly, the effect of her actions came into mind and she instantly grabbed her bag to dart off again. "Ah crap, sometimes I can be such a dumb*censored*..." Julia thought to herself. Suddenly, a sharp pain in Julia's leg made her trip and fall. Everything was becoming out of focus, and Julia could barely keep her eyes open...She grabbed Franny at the last minute before falling asleep from the tranquilizer dart that had hit her.
"Ungh, where am I?" Julia mumbled feebly as she sat up. Her head was pounding and her leg felt like a 50 lb weight was strapped to it. Her view of her surroundings focused and Julia realized that she was in a dungeon. She sprang up but immediately regretted it for Franny dug her claws into her legs as Julia stood up. Prying Franny from her dress, Julia turned to look at the scene. There was a flight of stairs leading upward, some weapons on a rack, and the keys. Julia desperately wished to know where she was, and a way to escape. "No Julia, don't become desperate. Last time you did nothing came out of it but being nearly killed. Be brave." Taking a deep breath, she looked at the bars holding her in the cell. "Too tough for my dagger...too bad I don't have those bombs Roger wanted me to test anymore." Julia's babbling must have awoken other prisioners, since another voice came from the cell beside her. "Hey, some of us are trying to rest. It's not easy to on stone, and the smell in here is terrible. Your mumbling just adds to it, so can you please stop?" Julia blushed even though nobody could see her and stopped mumbling. The sound of footsteps coming from the stairs made her leap to her stone bed. Soldiers came down carrying plates of bread and water, and went to each cell giving them. The soldier who came to her cell looked familiar, and as she got a closer look she realized that it was Roger! "Roger!" Julia cried. She jumped out toward the cell and grabbed him. "Roger, your okay. I thought they had tortured you, or that you might be...well, I'm glad you're safe." Roger pulled away and looked at Julia firmly. "Socializing with prisioners is treason." Julia's grin faded and she became quite sad. As he turned e whispered so softly that only Julia could hear. "Don't worry. I'll come back for you." Julia's hopes were raised and suddenly the courage in her made her want to burst. She grabbed the keys from Roger's back pocket, unlocked the cell, and ran. Not knowing where to go, she just ran. She tried to stay as close to ground as possible, since she didn't want to get cornered. Julia burst through a pair of red doors and turned around to shut them. Only one soldier got in but she locked the door before others could get in. Flipping around she saw Roger on the ground, panting and holding his chest. "Oh my gosh! Roger, are you okay?!" Julia cried as she knelt beside him. His side was bleeding badly. Julia froze, not moving any closer to Roger. Julia hated blood, it made her want to be sick or feel faint. Roger weakly said, "Julia... run. Get away on a horse. I know you hate blood, so leave me here..." Roger fell unconscious. Julia couldn't stand it; she was always being a wimp and fraidy-cat, and didn't face her fears. Franny mewed softly from beside a haystack and dragged out a towel. "Franny, what's..Oh Franny! This is wonderful!" Julia grabbed the towel and rushed to Roger. Holding back the urge to faint and letting courage fulfill that spot, Julia wrapped the towel around Roger. She grabbed a horse that was already tacked up and sat Roger upwright on it. Julia hated heights, and boy was this a huge horse. But Julia's bravery continued to get the best of her, and she rode off with Roger into the sunset, throwing away all her fears and worries for the first time.
