''LET GO OF ME!'' Moon yelled. No one touched her. Ever. Not even Allyson. ''I've checked out that cabin when we came here. I did a quick scout. There isn't a single building free of zombies. Plus, you NEVER get stuck in a tight place with zombies.'' Allyson stopped walking. She had been walking behind the little boy, but quickly grabbed his arm and yanked him back as a zombie stumbled out of a near-by house. Moon cocked her head. She thought she heard an engine rumbling.

Just as a zombie jumped out and grabbed her hair. Moon shot it in the head, her bullet actually cutting some of the other womans hair. ''Sure you wanna ring your kid down there? Cos I sure as hell don't. And if you'd stop running around like a crazed rabbit, you'd've heard the sound of an engine.'' Moon glanced up, and saw a seven seater off road car driving up behind the zombie horde.

"There's something down here that we need, that I need for Carter." Rumaging could be heard from the top of the hole and then she jumped out, holding an old, thin sheet of paper in her hand. "Its a map, but I don't know what of. My mother gave it to me before a zombie got her." She held back tears, handing the map to the other girl...

Pulling up just short of the girls and the little boy, he opened the door and got out. He figured they had about five minutes before the zombies arrived. So he played it cool, leaning against the hood of the car. ''Need a lift?'' Moon and Allyson looked at each other. ''Sure.'' Moon said coolly. Allyson bit her lip and looked at the boy.

Allyson walked over slowly, and sat in one of the middle seats, next to Moon. Glancing back and seeing Carter crying, she wished she could do something, but knew she couldn't. Just as the zombies started banging on the rear view glass, the man calmly slid into the front seat, buckled up, and started driving, whistling an old folk tune as he went, zombies splattering of the windshield as they drove through the horde in front, to be cleaned of by the windshield-wipers.

"I want mommy...." Carter whispered through his sobs. "Carter, mom had to leave us. She went on a long trip, but we'll see her again someday." Avalia tried to stay clam, but her voice cracked she fought back tears, a faraway look in her silver eyes...

Allyson thought of her own mum then. She'd been turned zombie and tried to kill her, being in turn killed by Moon herself. She wished there was something she could do. So, she did what she always did. Something stupid, to distract him. She wound down the window, leaned out, and purposefully got her shirt caught in it as she wound it up, pretending it was stuck. Moon just rolled her eyes and looked out th other side.
