(Me neither DDD: I'm having a total fail with all my posts, it seems, right now.
Maybe... Maybe.... um..... I have no idea. All I'm getting are horrid ideas and then some random stuff that results from thinking about things hard enough...

Drake went all woookjsafklksd and then he accidentaly had Dawn's cup raise a centimeter above the table. woops. he dinint even kno and so he liek ya jst stood there and finally notice woops. ya big uh-oh, he thinks about it all and decides to make sure no ideas happen or anything and he just like... blows it off. Yeah. Yay. :D = Drake rubbed his forehead with a bit of irritation. The situation he's gotten in wasn't so great. Stuck. In Starbucks. With Dawn, someone who he barely knew until just now. On the other side of things, she was pretty nice and good company, and at least they wouldn't starve or get thirsty or anything. Letting his hand drop, someone''s hot cocoa lifted a centimeter off the table but quickly plopped right back down.
What the heck was that? Are there ghosts in this place?
Or...
Was that just me? Literally, though - did I make it happen? Drake wondered. He was also told that the curse came with side-effects... Ew, don't think about that. You're perfectly normal, Drake. You're perfectly normal.

Drake turned back to Dawn. So 'crazy' was ruled out, because it actually did happen. "Yes, I did..." he said softly. Could I do it again? Concentrating, Drake tried hard to lift his own cup. But there was nothing. Thank God. "Do-" Drake began, however he realized that he had heard another plop once he moved his arm.
This is really not fun, he started to think. It was starting to become annoying yet terrifying.

At first, I thought maybe I was going insane. I mean, that little plop could have been anything, to my shoe hitting something, to one of the machines behind the counter.
But when Drake said yes, I knew something was up.
And, I turned around to face Drake, just as a cup was in the air.
And it fell again. Making the same ploping sound.
"Drake... Did you... Do that?"

I mean, it's completely able to be a figment of a person's imagination." Though as I said the last part, I could feel one of the employees' eyes set on the cup and then on me.
Trying to change the subject, I said, "I'm pretty sure the storm'll die down soon. I mean, then we can both go. Still on for the party?" Unless Adam thinks I ditched. He can be a bit of a hothead...

The way Drake kept talking, trying to find a explanation, made me suspicious. "Oh... Kay?" I said, my eyebrows still furrowed as I stared at the cup. This time, I was going to wait for it to happen again, to see what was happening.
"And, sure. I'll still go to that party. If the storm dies down."
I said, my eyes never leaving the cup. "How do you think it did that?"
I whispered in fascination, as I leaned down to be eye level with the cup. "It wasn't my imagination."
I added, more to myself.

"I wonder how long it'll last. The storm, I mean. I wish I could check the news or something," Drake said.
As Dawn kept going back to the cup, he really wanted to make the memory vanish. But she seemed fascinated.
"You never know. Your mind can play tricks on you. My parents-"
As soon as he said 'parents' he knew he had said something wrong. The mention even made him sort of sad.
"Never mind," Drake quickly recovered. "It was just a story.."

When Drake brought up his parents, and then didn't finish the thought, my eyes broke away from the cup and back up at him.
"Your parents...?"
I asked, pressing him to go on. Why was he down all of a sudden?
