This RP is between Fawn and DarkWingedRaven and them alone. Feel free to stalk or Rmail me or Raven with ideas, but please do not post. Thank you.
Beneath sheets of ice and layers of snowflakes, Arendelle hides many more secrets than its cheery cover provides. Far from the esteemed castle and its happy citizens, a crumbled empire lays. Among the shards of icy glass from the queen of Arendelle's fallen castle of isolation, there is a fugitive. Guilty of desiring revenge and losing his heart to greed, Jack Frost has lost his power as a guardian and has been exiled into the parts of Arendelle everyone denies exists; still frozen despite Elsa's promise to banish the eternal winter, and remains now as nothing but a crumbled castle and layers of frost.
Flash forward into the future. Elsa is the reining queen, still young, beautiful, and blessed with power over her entire kingdom. Despite regrettable, past relationships with a a certain white-haired ex-guardian, she's happy and has managed to forget entirely about him and her feelings towards him.
That is, until news arrives that Jack is in danger and the only one who knows how to save him is the queen herself.
Is there still hope for Jack's frostbitten heart, or perhaps even a rekindling of a stoked love?
{I'm really dramatic. I'm sorry. 8I
so basically, Jack is exiled to Elsa's old castle (you know what I'm talking about, right?) and the surrounding forest area. Elsa is the new queen, forgets about Jack, and is really happy in life. when she learns that Jack is in danger (we still have to think of why, lol), she goes and saves him and keeps him safe in her castle in ~* secret *~ and they fall in love! yayayay. <3 just tell me if something's wrong, and I'll fix it~}

{good, yes. 8) I was afraid I overdid it, lol.
um, well... I like the idea of someone being out to get him, yeah. what about Pitch? maybe he finds out that Jack is in a weakened state and comes to finish him off (as revenge for defeating him in the past, maybe) or perhaps he realizes that Jack might come to his side now, now that Jack's gone insane.
I would really appreciate it if you went first, since I made the thread and all. c: thank you~ <3}

((ehehe xD
Sure that! It sounds awesome <3
No problem! Though I'll have to think of a good opening statement. xD
EDIT: Just picked up randomness- but Elsa is the Thirteenth Disney Princess? o3o' And excuse me while I fail at making a first post. |D ... and im assuming that Elsa loosens up after the big revelation xD))
Elsa had woken up feeling on top of the world.
She'd completed her morning activities for the day- remind her sister of a certain appointment with a certain Official Arendelle Ice Master and Deliverer, had a 'formal' breakfast with her officials, played with Marshmallow, signed some very important documents, and dropped in for a quick hello and greeting to the knights sparring in the courtyard, as well has taking a quick stroll through the Marketplace.
Her popularity had risen significantly, and the people of Arendelle loved their beautiful and intelligent young Queen as they had her parents. Her ice powers were now looked upon as a assurance to the populace, an extra sense of security that came with having a capable Monarch who was more than able to protect her kingdom, as well as one who could make wonderful ice skating galas.
The truth was, Arendelle was thriving under Elsa's rule. Which also meant that Elsa had time for Anna, and time for moments like these where she could curl up with a book, undisturbed, in the Royal Library, just after noon.
Unfortunately it also meant more room for complications to occur. Especially ones that took the form of a winded messenger abruptly barging into a comfortable silence, completely ruining a serene atmosphere.
The Snow Queen looked up from her novel, raising a delicate eyebrow in half-concealed amusement as she took in the messenger's huffing form. "I didn't know I'd relaxed customs this much, Alfred," she lightly teased. Her smile, however, was quickly extinguished after the words came out of the messenger's mouth.
"Something... going on... at..."
((erm i dunno how you want to enter. D8 And that failed and was long with no grammar. Left that open ended for whatever you decide to do- I was thinking maybe Jack is causing some havoc somewhere and it's really making the people anxious? And no, Alfred is not going to be a character. |D Just wanted to show that Elsa is rather close with people now, going as far as remembering their names. And excuse if I got royalty life wrong and made Elsa completely OOC. D| I will edit that last sentence when yeah, but omg this is getting long bye))

{aah, what do you think about involving Pitch? unu probably a lame idea, lol, but I thought that it made sense. your post looks great, friend! don't sweat it. I think you'll make a good Elsa~}
What a pleasant surprise. The notorious ice-boy sat crouched on a frostbitten branch. Being as slender and flexible as he was, it allowed him to pose like a cat on that tree; poised, perfectly balanced, and ready to pounce. His staff, now snapped in half and caked in dried blood around the pointed end, was clutched in one fist while his other hand gripped the ice-slick bark.
The thing that had caught his eye moved closer. It was nothing other than a child; a chubby-faced, rosy-cheeked, toddling little young human. Jack cocked his head while watching it, his position and actions coming across as very animal-like. This small creature screeched as it stumbled through piles of snow, heading straight towards Jack. It pointed a chubby finger up at him.
"Jack!" It cooed, then proceeded to clap its mittened hands together. Curiosity faded to malice in Jack's facial features, and in one swift motion, he dismounted and landed on his feet. When he continued grinning like a madmen at this child, it got a concerned look in its wide eyes and started backing away, stuttering out incoherent words.
He flipped the staff around so that the crooked end of it was facing the girl. She started screaming; an annoying, terrible sound, really. The screech was cut short by a blast of ice from the end of the staff, and a frozen solid child tumbled over into the powdery snow. Jack grinned characteristically, then took a single step towards the petrified body and knelt down in front of it. The girl's face was literally frozen in terror, crystallized tears permanently kept from falling.
He glanced up at the sound of footsteps and shouts. Two older humans, each of them resembling the human child uncannily, came running. They sank to the ground in front of the little body, hands shaking as they mumbled, "Charlotte?" over and over. When they looked up and saw Jack, kneeling only a few feet away, their ex pression turned mortified.
"You!" the female one cried, pointing a finger at him accusingly. "You killed her. You-" And then she was still, nothing but an ice sculpture; like her child. The male shook his head in disbelief, but trembled all over. "You're a monster! Monster!" Before Jack could even raise his staff, the man was sprinting away, screaming, "Alert Queen Elsa! Alert Queen Elsa!"
He would have followed, if it were not for the barrier. He was at the very end of it, actually; a few more steps and he'd be forced backwards. He simply shrugged as he watched the man go. Let them come, he thought, very bitterly. Let them see and bask in the glory of Jack Frost. Let them see the mistakes they have made!
He turned from the two petrified bodies and sprinted up the hillside, his bare feet barely skimming the snow. He looked as though he could have been flying, but every so often he touched the ground very lightly. He paused at any icy bridge, where chunks of the surface had fallen through and left gaping holes in the pathway across the gorge. The holes were nothing new to him, and he skimmed over this like a low-flying bird, using what was left of his staff to help propel himself over the bigger holes.
He stood in front of Elsa's old castle, where the once-magnificent castle hung crumbling and haunted-looking against a bleak gray sky. He scaled the massive staircase that lead into the main part of the castle slowly, noting and avoiding the many gaps in the icy stairs. He entered the main living quarters of the palace, which looked sad and far too empty. The chandelier had crashed through, leaving a massive, empty space right in the middle of the floor. Without the chandelier for lighting and no sunlight for the ice to reflect off of, the room was cold and dark.
He took cautious steps around the hole and made his way to the balcony. The railing surrounding it was missing a few bars, but it was still intact. As light as he was, sitting on that railing and flinging his upper-body over the edge didn't snap the bars. His legs gripped the edge while he hung upside-down, watching the storm clouds pass lazily over the gray sky.
And then he waited for the army to arrive.
{quick, ugly sketch of Jack, post-insanity: yeah. 8U}

((pfffyt no way i hardly know her. |D And Jack is very creepy o3o shhh, ur sketch is gorgeous, girl. dun say ANYTHING else about it. my art is chicken scratch. and only chicken scratch can be deemed ugly. that is a work of ART. but why did you rip your beautiful hoodie, jack.
And besides, you are still a lot better at RPing than I am. "D And Jack's 'army' will be rather far from what he expects... I think... but I can change if necessary. And yes, please involve Pitch xD
EDIT: And, er, gunna skip some stuff, but pretend Elsa rode epically with majestic music playing in the background. And she goes and consoles the poor man who just lost his wife and his daughter. |D And I apologize in advance for failing at describing Elsa's powers. its kinda confusing. and yeah warning for dramatic content which makes no sense.))
"The... border..." The journal in Elsa's hand snapped shut, completely forgotten in light of the current situation. Trouble at the border meant only one thing.
Pushing off from her comfortable perch, the Queen set a brisk pace,. The guards at the entrance of the library sensed her (I can't remember the word ;w;), and quickly opened doors. The moment Elsa was out of the library, her escort fell into step behind her. Elsa replied without turning. "I am reminding you that I am taking a scheduled short leave, and you need not accompany me."
"But your majesty-"
"I will need a horse." Elsa hated interrupting remarks made in good will, but she knew if she did not assert her dominance now, she would not be able to leave.
"Yes, your majesty. I have prepared supplies and there is a sure-footed stallion itching for a ride." Elsa couldn't help but smile. Sometimes it was if her people knew her better than she did herself.
--
She wasn't panicking before, but now her heart was thumping in her chest like a rabid beast as she looked upon her shattered castle of ice.
Elsa was sure it had started when she met the poor, poor man who had just lost his wife and his child. He'd begged her to bring his family back, and she felt absolutely horrible for not being able to do anything about it. When she had found the frozen mother and child, she had felt the feral energy about the magical ice. Melting the two was a feat akin to wrestling a wolf, and as much as Elsa hated to admit it, it had been a great effort. But it was the least she could do for the man that had lost his entire family.
While she had been able to melt the ice, a small inkling of fear had rooted inside her. She had met many kinds of magic now, but this was something she'd never experienced before. It was raw. She could describe it in a few words, all but one of which were emotions- anger, resentment, bitterness, and something broken or fractured.
Why hadn't she made the barrier larger? Elsa knew the answer, but she couldn't help but curse herself for it. If only she had made the barrier even a couple feet larger, it would have prevented it from happening. Prevented him from happening.
"Jack!" She cried out, knowing full well that he was here. Elsa couldn't keep the tiny note of hurt out of her voice. She disappointed herself.
But she knew what he was thinking. He would have expected an army. He wouldn't get one.
(('m sorry D8 had to do a footnote here and ruin the mood. You can decide what Elsa is wearing. I shall describe stuff later, and sorry for slight angst, humor may come later, excuse failure writing grammar spelling yadda yadda, and I think things look better centered like it is while I'm typing this, but it's going to look ugly on the right anyway to be consistent |D *rambles* Take what is happening however you want! 8D lots of interpretations yoho.))
