"Interesting question," Trent began, chuckling, "I'd have to say that it could be better. And how was it for you?" 

"I usually do that," Trent remarked, "but I usually think about when the day will end." He laughed, his first real laugh in a while. 

[Should Nicole's dad disapprove of a relationship between the two of them?]

"I guess," Trent stated. "Hey I'm going down to the beach, would you like to accompany me?" he asked, somewhat uneasily.

Trent gave her a slight grin and opened the pas.senger door to his black car. "In you go," he said, chuckling. This was the first time Trent had ever let anyone inside of his car. 

"Yep," Trent said, gently shutting the door. He trotted around to the driver's seat, letting himself inside. "To the beach!" he exclaimed.
