No I haven't, what does that mean? He shifted and raised an eyebrow. "Yes, I just shifted so I could raise my eyebrow at you." He grinned.

Alex laughed as she watched him scoot over, then she smiled. "You know, I'm not a girl to get involved in, my ex learned that." She raised an eyebrow. She grinned and let her fangs drop.

Lanen shook her head and laughed. "I guess there are worse reasons than to lift an eyebrow."

"Well, maybe I'll just watch from a distance then...?" Bran said, joking, scooting back over to the other side, getting off the couch, and walking to the other end of the commons. "This far enough?" He called. 

Chase narrowed his eyes at her. "Mhm." Was all he said.

Alex laughed and shook her head. "Yea it's far enough but no matter how far-" She cut off and within literally a split second she was beside him and narrowed her eyes. "It's pretty useless when I get pis.sed."

"What?" She asked, tilting her head again. No matter how hard she tried to break the habit, it wouldnt go away. It reminded her of a dog.

Bran blinked, then shrugged. "So a bolt of lightning and be on my merry way...after checking to make sure you were still breathing." 

"Nevermind." He laughed. "Woof." He said once he seen her head tilt.

She smiled and walked closer then put her lips up to his ear and whispered. "I'm pretty sure you don't want me to be breathing then."

"Shuddup," Lanen said, straightening up. She looked at the sky; past noon? That couldnt be right...

 "You sure about that? I like em feisty." Bran blinked and blushed. "Oh wow. That was random and totally out of context..."

"Hey, you the one that did it." He laughed looking at his watch. "Past noon, you think your friend is alright?"

Alex backed up and laughed a sly laugh. "Your a strange little elf." She smiled and leaned in and kissed his cheek. Once again she backed away and smiled.

"I know," Lanen said, covering her face. She peered through the four fingers that made up her hand in the form. "I think hes fine. Like I know Ive said before, Bran can take care of himself."

"Im not little," Bran objected, though he was blushing like a tomato from her kiss on his cheek. He stammered a few words and gave up, simply offering a shy smile back.

"Yea, you've said that before but at least you remembered this time." He smirked. "I'm not a smarta.ss forget saying that."

"Look at ya." She said laughing. "You say you want a fiesty girl but look at you, you blush like a school girl." She smiled and laughed at herself.

"I know Ive said it before," Lanen frowned. "Thats what I said."

"I know." Bran said with a laugh. "I just wasnt expecting that." He wiped a hand over his face and sighed. "Well, now what?" 

Chase looked at her confused, he was about to ask but he didn't bother. He shooke his head and laughed "So should we got back now? Before anything happens."

Alex laughed. "Well thats the point silly." She smiled looking over at him. "I don't know, up to you." She shrugged sniffing the air. "Chase asked to come back, Lanen didn't answer yet."

((Sorry. I was feelin pins and needles so I went to bed))

Lanen nodded. "I guess we should head back, yes." She rubbed her hand on the bark of a nearby tree as she walked past it on the way to the school.

"Oh." Bran turned his head to the window the two had disappeared from earlier that day. "I guess theyve been gone long enough to bury the men and then some." 

((Uh oh , not good))

Chase got up and walked up to the school and through the window they came out "Did ya miss me!" He said leaping through the window. He landed swiftly and grinned walking over to his sister. "You managed to keep the Elf alive, must of been hard." Alex huffed "No I didn't miss you, and yes I wanted to rip his throat out so many time." She laughed and looked over at Bran and raised an eyebrow. "Well, at least Lanen doesn't have to look at Elf guts." Chase laughed and pat her head. Alex let out a low growl from her chest.

Lanen climbed in after Chase to see Brans confused ex
pression at sommat Alex had said. She shuddered and smiled. "Theres always the absence of guts to be thankful for, yes."

"You wanted to rip my throat out?"

Lanen growled half-heartedly. "Im not a dog. Im a wulf. Much more dignified,". Bran laughed.

"Easy Fido, dont get your fur all ruffed."

"Fido?" Lanen curled her lip. "Well, at least it isnt Fifi or Frufru or sommat...an' you shut your mouth, Branwen."
