Nick didn't reply back but was less tense and slowed his pace down. He looked around and still wasn't speaking. Paloma returrned a high-five to Ellis. She followed behind them, still slightly giggling. Now the rain drizzling turned out to come down harder. It wasn't pouring but it was enough to get on their nerves. Paloma tightened the hard more, though it didn't stop from her pony tail almost half soaked." Oh I hate rain so much.." Her attitude had changed quickly from happy to annoyed. The rain didn't respond and went at the same pace.

Dani kept her eyes looking ahead. "Im from Seattle and it rained there like...90% of the year so Im used to it" she laughed. "Doesnt mean I dont hate it, though...cuz I do." she mumbled, shifting the coat over her head and holding the other half up for Nick to get under if he wanted, trying to step around all the mud puddles. Her shoes were already gross but she didnt want them any worse. Especially not with mud. Ellis nodded at Paloma. "Gotta agree. Mud dont bother me much but I hate bein all wet and whatnot." he said, looking around.

Ellis smiled at her. "Well I didnt really need it, you coulda used it, but thank ya anyways" he smiled and put his arm around her as they walked, looking around for the safe house. Ellis saw the safe house and had an idea to piss Dani and Nick off. He grabbed Paloma and picked her up, taking off for the safe house and once they entered, he closed and locked the door. "Hehe. Lets screw around with them, eh?" he said, grinning at Paloma, putting her down in the safe house. Dani watched them and frowned. "Rain aint /that/ bad that'cha gotta go running like that....is there a tank behind us?" she asked, looking back hessitantly. No Tank.

Paloma sat there and shivered," Nick's gunna flip if you lock him out, again." She laughed and looked around. Spotting food she quickly crawled over to it in a flash. Not caring what was inside she nibbled on whatever she had in her hand. She compeltely zoned out. Nick had watched them run off and looked to where they had run off too. " That hick he ran to the safe house!" Nick started to run out from under the coat and too the safe house. He tried to open it," Hey farm boy you better open this door if you enjoy breathing!" He pounded on the door.

Ellis peeked out the slot of the safehouse door and grinned. "Nnnope." he said smugly and kept watching Nick out the safe house door. He was enjoying himself, he loved pissing Nick off in any way. Thought of it as revenge for all the teasing he gets from Nick. Dani jogged over to the door and sighed. "Why you guys gotta always lock us out? Especially why now? In the rain...its....its cold, Ellis." she whined, shivering.

Ellis smiled at Paloma. "Oh, fine, fine. Ill let 'em in" he purred, unlatching the door and going over to sit by Paloma, watching for Nick and Dani's expressions when they opened the door and entered the safe house. Dani went in first, sniffling, wet and freezing cold even with the coat. She dropped it onto a table along with her gun, wrench, pipe bomb, and medkit and went to sit in a corner to warm up, sadly, she was catching a cold.

Ellis put his hands up in surrender. "Okayyy, okayyy, fine" he said, cowering a bit from Nick, looking around the safe house for a pile of ammo for him to reload his gun. He spotted on and made his way over to reload his weapon and to clean off his frying pan. Dani looked at Paloma and shook her head, shivering. "No....Im fine." she lied, smiling a bit then looking about the safe house, like Ellis did, but looking for nothing in particular.

Nick had lowered his gun when Ellis backed off. He looked at everyone else . "Really? I would have just agreed if she didn't say 'Mr.Suit', great comeback." He exchanged glares with the little hunter. He wasn't thinking this whole hunter-pet thing would go down so well for so long. Paloma didn't believe Dani but let her be. Then with a look to Nick," I don't mind but I guess I'm just a little edgey about your sleeping in the same place with us.. Up too Dani and Ellis I guess.." She shivered and didn't get up. Her gaze wondered off to the door though," But shall we make the decision quick for I don't trust the door just.. Open."

Ellis looked at Nick, then Paloma, then Klarissa and smiled. "Well I trust 'er and dont mind 'er stayin' with us one bit." he said happily, looking at Nick and Paloma for a reaction, weather it be good or bad, still cleaning off the weapons he had that were caked with blood and guts for all the zombie hunting they were doing. Dani was still shivering, sniffling, she looked up at the mention of her name and tilted her head slightly. "Well um...i...i dunno...I still dont trust her and not sure I want her sleeping where we're defenseless..." she said, teeth chattering.

Klarissa shrugged. "Well, since it's somewhat undecided, I'll go ahead and sleep outside. Even in the rain. I'm not exactly keen on the idea of getting shot in my sleep." She made a face, glaring at Nick, before crawling outside, flopping herself on the steps just a few steps down, sighing as she backed up as much as she could in the shelter of the building. Why was she so compliant? Always obeying even the unsaid. She crosses her arms and laid her head on her wrists, again reaching back to make sure her ponytail was dry.

Dani finally started to warm up, it didnt change the fact that she was sniffling or shaking but she was warmer. She looked at Paloma with a smile and started to hum. "You know that I love, boy. Hot like Mexico, Rejoice." she sang and gave a quick glace at Nick, awaiting Paloma to finish what she had started. Ellis looked between them and groaned, he knew what they were singing, and they sung it all to often to him.
