"Fine. I see how it is, you don't want me here." James joked and faked a sniffle as he pulled on his jacket and made sure he had his bike keys. "No, I don't. Shu! Get outta here and bug your boyfriend." Eric played along, faking a glare at him. James blew him a kiss melodramatically, do some girly thing he just came up with before he hurried down stairs and out the door. He heard Eric laughing before he shut the front door.
He got on his bike, started it, and pulled forward slowly, waving up at the window before he ripped away from Eric's driveway and headed to Jae's house. He had thought about going there before but had thought better of it, thinking it was rude to just show up somewhere even if it was at his boyfriend's house. He was going top speeds, something not many bikers could do comfortable. He had been doing it a while so it was almost second nature to him.
He slowed down when he could see the break in the trees that lead down to Jae's house, turning down the road and proceeding much mich slower than it took for him to get there, not really wanting to run over a particularly sharp stick and be stuck in Jae's driveway. But before he reached the house, however, there was a chain gate attached to one tree on one side of the road to one on the other side. A white sign hung in the middle with big, bold, red letters that read: For Sale.
Cold shock spread through James at the sight of the sign, and his eyes widened in surprise as a slow panic started to rise in his chest. "The hell?" He asked, sitting there for a few seconds with his hands in his lap, bike still rumbling softly beneath him. He backed up and road back down the road, faster but still not too fast. Where could he be? And why didn't he tell me anything? He thought as he turned onto the main road.
He had no idea where he was going, he didn't know where Jae would possibly go. He never asked him: Oh yeah, if you ever moved where would you go so I can find you? The thought hadn't even thought about running across his mind. He felt a nagging thing in the back of his mind. Parkparkparkpark. He he went there, not really sure why.
He shook his head, he wasn't going to be at the park. He knew that, the panic was threatening to rise and boil over inside him. He felt almost constricted there. He pulled into the park parking lot and almost literally fell of his bike when he saw Jae.
He killed the engine, making sure it was really him and not his murderous mind messing with him before he swung his leg over the seat of the bike and headed towards him. First slowly, still making sure it was in fact him and then faster. He slowed down, not wanting to look too freaked out.
