Kylane thought for a minute before saying,

"Well, Vince and I p*censored*ed a cave a ways back. Would that work for all of us?"

Vince felt as if he could bite into the tension between himself and Aurora.  He didn't feel like moving yet, his head was still a little light, and somehow he felt as if there was a battle he was trying to win. Unable to stand looking away anymore, he snuck a sidlong glance at Aurora.

Her bad luck starting to annoy her, Aurora glanced at Vince just as he did the same. Frustrated and embar*censored*ed, she quickly muttered,

"I'm leaving."

She turned around without further hesitation, not following her siblings but running off into the woods. She could find them all later through her two psycic brothers if need be, she just really needed to get her thoughts together for the moment.

Kurano nodded and said,

"That sounds good."

He looked over his shoulder to see his sister walking away from Vince, into the depths of the forest. He sighed and sent a mental message to Kirano,

Keep your mind open in case Aurora tries to contact you later, it seems she's on one of her confusion streaks again.

Kurano tried not to blush. Suceeding, he nodded and began padding in the direction Kylane had indicated.

Aurora ran at a comfortable pace, enjoying the sweet silence around her. He hadn't wanted to yell at Vince, it just came out of her in a roar. The fuzzy feeling in her chest had returned, further confusing her. She stopped running for a moment to catch her breath, looking to the crystal clear sky. She wished that her mind could be the same as the sky, clear and crisp, unwavering. Before long, however, a cloud p*censored*ed over, blocking her view. She realized that the heavens were also not always clear. With a sigh, she continued, but at a much slower pace, trotting rather than running. She stopped once more at a spring, bending down to drink. She saw her reflection in the water's unstirred surface and stopped to stare at it. She asked herself why that other male, Kale was his name, wanted her to the point of fighting for her, there was nothign special about the way she looked, at least in her opinion. Her sisterm Kioko, was something much better and more attractive to fight for. Her pely was the color of the setting sun, a fiery orange that fitted her personality. But Aurora was a dark, gloomy color and her sharp, ice cold blue eyes did nothing to help. Self-pity welled up inside her and a single tear pushed past her eye, falling to the pool of water below. On contact, the water turned to ice, moving to freeze the entire pool.

"See..." She muttered to herself. "Everythign about me is cold."

Kirano followed the others, ready to accept whatever his sister wanted to say. But he followed slowly, because he felt something was going to happen. Something bad.

Kioko waited behind, and when the others were all out of sight, she turned and ran in the direction that Aurora had taken. Unlike her two brothers, she was always overly worried. She followed her scent, and used the plants for help finding her. She soon came upon a frozen pool of water, and smiled. Aurora was nearby. She lowered her head to the ground, sweeping across the gr*censored* for her scent. When she found it, she walked along it, and barked once to see if Aurora was there. It was a short, sad, worried bark.

((But at least she has someone. Kirano and Kioko are all alone.))

Aurora's head came up when she ehard her sister's bark. She called out,

"I'm over here, Kioko." When she came into sight, she said, "You don't always need to worry about me, I can take care of myself, you know that. I just wanted some time alone."

Kioko nuzzled her sister.
"There is always the day. Something will happen. And I know that it'll be the one day that I leave you alone."
She felt guilty for intruding on her sister, but she was over worried. She nuzzled her again.
"Let's get back. I don't know about you, but I could go for a good night's rest."

((Kyreesha? What time is it there? And lol))

Aurora sighed and nodded, padding after her sister to walk next to her. She smiled lightly and bumped her with her shoulder and said,

"Still acting the big sister role, eh?"

Kioko nodded.
"Yeah. I kinda feel that mom wanted me to watch over you guys."
Her thought of her mother, made her think of the grey flower, and of...
She shuddered.

"I'm telling you, nobody lives here!"

"Whatever you say, Shyra."

"Don't play all submissive with me, Tamarand!"

"I'm not 'playing', I'm naturally submissive."

"Pfft, whatever."

Kurano's ears perked up at the sound of the two bickering voices comming from the cave up ahead. The head of a crimson colored female poked out of the cave, saw them, then jerked back in. there were some furious whispers that sounded like, 'I told you someone lived here!'.

Kirano saw the head, and bristled slightly. He couldn't hear what was going on, so he looked at his brother.
Who are they?

((Oh noes!))

Kurano looked at his brother and shurgged, replying,

Don't ask me.

He returned his attention to the strangers and said,

"Come out, whoever you are. We're not looking for a fight if that's what you think."

Taking the role of the leader felt odd to Kurano, it was normally Aurora's job to make the first approach.

Shyra poked her head out of the cave again, scrutinizing the group of wolves. Her eyes widened slightly when she noticed that two of them were identical twins. Under her breath, she muttered,

"Would you look at that?"

Tamarand, still out of sight, asked,

"Look at what? I'm not going out there! Do you know what an entire pack could do to us?"

----

Shyra glared at her brother and said,

"Be quiet, one of them is saying something."

----

Tamarand snorted and looked away, mumbling curses under his breath.

----

Shyra rolled her eyes and called out,

"How can we be sure you won't slaughter us the moment we come out?"

Kirano nodded, still unaware.
Could you mind relaying what the conversation is? I feel left out.
His thoughts were sad. He didn't care to be left out of conversations. It didn't feel right to them.

Aurora's smiled deflated slightly at the mention of that incident. She simply nodded and stared straight ahead, her thoughts obviously somewhere else now.

Kurano looked at his brother and replied,

They're being pansies, too scared to come out into the daylight.

He wished both of his sisters were there, then he wouldn't have to do this leader crap. He replied to the wolves in the cave,

"If that was our intention, what makes you think we wouldn't come in?"

----

That caught her off guard. Her eyes narrowed and she replied,

"Fine! We'll come out!"

----

Tamarand looked ay his sister with wide eyes and harshly whispered,

"Are you insane?"

The glare she gave him told him everything he needed to know. Shyra went out first, keeping her eye on the strange pack. Tamarand kept a close distance behind his sister, ready to bolt at the slightest sign of agression.

Kirano sighed, still silent.
Pansies indeed.
When they finally came out, he sat.
I advise you to do the same Those two are such scardy cats that they would bolt if a leaf fell on their head.
He smiled and silently laughed at his own joke.
Give them a chance to see that we aren't dangerous.

Kioko also fell silent. But she soon heard Kurano's voice up ahead.
"Aurora, I think we should hurry. there may be something going on up there. And again, I am the big sister." She picked up her pace, hoping her sister would also do the same.

Aurora snapped out of her thoughts and dashed after her sister, bursting into the scene with an immediate,

"What's going on?!"

Kurano winced and thought,

ohhh baaad timing, sis.

Shyra snarled at the appearance of yet two more wolves. Maybe they really were here to get rid of them and get thier cave back. She coudl pratically sense Tamarand tensing up behind her. She knew that when situations got really ugly, Tamarand was one of the most dependable wolves in the world.

----

Tamarand's eyes narrowed angrily and two more wolves, females the both of them, joined the others, the black female obviously in charge. He moved from standing behidn his sister, to stand intimidatingly next to her.

----

The last thing Kale expected to see when he returned to the cave where his siblings were staying was the pack form before. He came in behind the group, eyes wide in suprise.

Kioko followed more slowly after Aurora's burst in.
"I said I think something's going on, Aurora. Jeez, overreact much?"
She smiled and looked at the two wolves by the cave.
"Who're you?"
It wasn't mean, or demanding. Just...simple.

Kirano shook his head in embarressment as Aurora burst in, Kioko behind her.
I agree. Really bad timing.

Aurora gave her sister an annoyed look before returning her gaze to the strangers. A shiver also went up her spine but she ignored it for the time being. She sighed and said,

"Fine, let's try this again. Who, may I ask, are you?"

Kurano almost choked when he heard Aurora's exagerated attempts at being polite.

Shyra's eyes opened a little wider when she saw her other brother, Kale, standing behind the pack. She replied to the black female,

"My name is Shyra, if you really need to know. This is Tamarand, and that," She jerked her head in Kale's direction, "Is Kale."

----

Aurora looked over her shoulder, confused by Shyra's third introduction. That's when she saw him. She spun on her heels, a snarl ready on her lips.

Kurano quickly followed suit, placing himself beween Kale and his sisters... and Kylane.
