Slavery is legal which means what ever a master wants to do with his bought slave, he may. Anyone can own a slave but it takes a real master to know how to train and keep a slave in line. Many try and many fail in owning slaves therefore limiting the number of actual masters. Here in the states slavery is the key to wealth and popularity. The more obedient slaves one has the higher the popularity and money he gests. Because slavery has become legal the Neko race has rebelled against one another. A small portion of Nekos have become slave masters and those who were caught were forced into slavery. I am aware that this plot sort of sucks but it was all I could come up with sorry Loki. ^.^ We can always change it. It is only you and I anyway so it won't effect anything. hehe. Anyway. Can I claim the slave? I have a new character to try out. He's sort of rebellous so it should be fun. ^.^

Name: Naric Vierro Age: 17 Gender: Male Personality: Naric is very self respectable. He hates to be bossed around and will fight for what he believes in. He has a very strong will. He does have his sweet moments though outside of the whole ‘don’t touch me’ façade. It is hard to gain his trust but if you have it he’ll open up and become less aggravated and annoyed. He hates for people to see him upset so he will try to hide it the best he can but always fails which in the end causes him to pout and slink off to be alone. Family: Father, Saiji, who hates him and his mother, Nikomis, who doesn’t really stand up for herself. History: Naric was sold by his own father to the slave market thinking it would help his ‘attitude’ problem. He never really cared for Naric because he didn’t poses the same abusive stuck up qualities he did therefore he was sold. His mother begged for Saiji to bring their son back but he refused. (Not much else to say) Other: His favorite thing in the whole world is a nice cozy bed with a snuggle buddy. Whether it is a pillow, teddy bear, or person. ^.^ Yes that purple star tattoo is there on his body under his right eye and he also has three other star tattoos down his right hip.

((Sorry for the slowness, my computer has been giving me crap all this time and even having the router off for 8 or so hours doesn't seem to work. >_> If I come home from school tomorrow and it's still like this, I'm demanding the internet service do something about this because it was not this slow to start out with so there's no reason for it to be now. Pfft, It's fine Rika, Ilu anyways xD And so sorry about not being able to email you. ;A; Hotmail is very slow on my computer, but I'll keep trying. Oh! And a question: Is this set in more modern times, or when it slave trade was actually going on in the states? o3o)) Bio: My computer won't let me put pictures for some reason, so here's a link, sorry! http://tinyurl.com/2g245v2 Name: Miramo Ezkiel Age: 18 Gender: Male Personality: Miramo is a bit of an odd type for a master. He's shy and a bit quiet when around strangers, but he's also very cheerful and up-beat if he feels comfortable enough. Although he's usually kinda and gentle, he can get really upset and lose his temper or go off and sulk. (I fail at personalities xD) Family: His father, Ronok, and his mother, Tana, both deceased. History: Miramo's father was quite a wealthy and popular slave owner. Instead of just keeping the slaves, he would break them into obedience then sell them off for top dollar to those who couldn't get regular slaves to be obedient to them. His family lived in a mansion on the outskirts of a rather small town that Ronok made popular himself. Everything seemed to be going well until a thunderstorm hit. A freak lightning-strike hit the mansion, burning part of it down. His parent's room had been burned down, with them both still in it, before the rain had put the fire out. Most of the mansion had still been intact, and the part that had been burned hadn't lost it's form and was still standing, but Miramo still sold all of Ronok's slaves since he didn't know how to break them. Eventually, Miramo was worried that his might run out of the money he'd gotten from selling the slaves so, unable to part with the mansion, he decided to follow in his father's steps. Other: Miramo is quite the star-watcher. He loves sitting up on the roof and observing the stars. For over a decade, he's even made charts to study their location in the sky and often gives his favorite ones names. All the charts are stored in the mansions library, which he takes very good care of. Also, the gold chain around his neck was a gift from his father on his seventh birthday and he wears it always.

Ooc:// That sounds great. ^.^ Ever slave master needs TV and radios. XP Bic:// A loud growl admitted from Naric's throat as he watched two guards pa.ss his small cage. Naric shifted his position so he was sitting with his knees to his chest. He wrapped his palms around his arms as he hugged his knees glaring at the men. "Shut up. You don't desurve a bigger cage. Look what you did to my arm!" the head guard snapped pulling up his sleeve to reveal a bloody bandage. This caused the neko to smirk revealing one of his pointed fangs. The guard shivered and stepped back meeting the neko's cold green glare. "Just wait till I get out of here" Naric snapped watching the guard leave to unload another shipment of slaves. The other guard glarred down at Naric kicking his cage causing the neko to flinch back pinning his ears to his head. "Welcome to the slave market. Lets hope we get rid of ya today. I fear for any poor sap who gets you" the first guard breathed down walking foward to go meet the other in unloading slaves. Naric shut his eyes and sighed listening to the sounds around him. They were the same old stupid sounds he has been hearing for six months; one trade after another. It was a never endin cycle of being shipped from one state to the next to see who would be stupid enough to buy him. He still had his spirit unlike the others who were curled up in their cages awaiting their fate away from the metal cages surrounding them. Naric's tail flicked in annoyance as he listened to guard mutter to themselves about how much money they would make today. 'You guys are stuck with me' Naric thought to himself smirking knowing good and well the guards simply despised him which odly he enjoyed. It gave him something to look forward to every day; he got to torture the guards.

"Ah, if it isn't an Ezkiel! I'd recognize that snowy white fur anywhere! Master Miramo, is it?" Miramo almost jumped out of his fur as he was practically shouted at and spun around, blinking in surprise as a human, much shorter than him, approached him. The man looked a bit like an old rat, which rather suited the place Miramo supposed he worked. "Yes?" Miramo answered hesitantly, recoiling away when the man cried out in surprise and took his arm, beginning to lead him off to who knows where. "Good, good." The man said. "It's been so long since I've seen your father, how long's it been?" "Three years." Miramo said hesitantly. Apparently this man worked here; he'd have to in order to talk of Ronok as if he knew him. No surprise there really. But did he have to be so pully? It wasn't as if he couldn't follow on his own. "Of course!" The man exclaimed, almost squeaking and making Miramo think he was a mouse in a past life. "My poor old heart broke to hear about your father. A fine neko, that one. Honest for a breaker, but he was still good at what he did. I presume if you're here, you're looking to continue his trade?" Miramo nodded, recoiling again when the man laughed. It was a cold, witch-like laughter that made a chill go down the neko's spine. The man seemed not to notice and quickly lead him over to a few of the cages that had already been unloaded, jabbering on about Miramo's father--which made the fur on Miramo's tail bristle--and other things about the slave trade, none of it Miramo hadn't already known. Finally he stopped in front of a cage, stepping aside so the white neko could see the one inside. "Now this one's perfect for you!" The man exclaimed, pointing down to the black-furred neko inside. The tricky sneer on his face was missed by Miramo, who was busy staring into the cage, his amber eyes filled with slightly wonder. "His name's Naric, or at least that's what we were told. Sometimes they get given new names by their masters. Anyways, he's just the kind that your father would take. He's a bit stubborn, but I'm sure you can work through that. You have your father's blood after all! Now I'll just be right back with the papers so you two be good." He scurried off, but not before giving Naric a "you better behave" look and the guard a "don't screw up" look. Miramo blinked, feeling slightly dazed. That man... talked to fast. The poor neko hadn't even had time to refuse. He sighed. Well, I guess I have to, now. He thought. Being thrown into this trade really wasn't easy. He turned his attention back to Naric, giving him a shy smile. It was actually really awkward to face another neko that he practically owned now.

Naric had been concentrating on his thoughts before jumping at the unexpected loud obnoxious chatter of a human in front of his cage. His green eyes shot open as he focused on the two looking down at him. He kept quiet in his cage listening to the man speak of him to some other neko. His cold green stare focused on the man as he gave him that look and scurried off to grab the papers. "So eager to get rid of me I see" Naric hissed quietly curling his top lip up revealing his fangs before letting out a frustrated sigh. Naric focused his gaze on the metal bottom of the cage sort of refusing to look at the other neko in front of him. This was embara.ssing to him and not to mention pointless in his mind. He was going to be bought by another neko. It was hard enough he had to listen to the filthy humans who scavanged for money and ripped people off but now he had to listen to some other who thought he was better than the rest of his own race. A low growl came form his throat as he thought about these things. The fur on his tail bristled as Naric glanced up catching the gaze of the guard that had confonted him earlier. The guard held his arm to his chest as he cursed under his breath. "Devil creature" the guard muttered catching sight of the neko in front of Naric's cage. He immediatly shut up and rushed off a little excited to be getting rid of the one slave he most despised. The guards action made Naric chuckle softly and evily to himself letting his green eyes focus on Miraomo. He kept quiet while ovserving the neko in front of him. He didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and he sure didn't look like the other masters that wandered through the slave trades. Must be new. Naric thought binging his hand up and rubbing under his right eye for a moment before curling it back around his knees. His black tail slipped around him as he just stared at Miramo not saying a word. He had a blank ex pression on his face wondering what exactly the other neko was going to do or say to him. Looks can be deceiving. He thought to himself slightly twitching his right ear.

Miramo looked from Naric to the guards. Feeling as if he'd missed something. There seemed to be a weird aura surrounding them and it was making Miramo's fur stand on end. Something was up with this place, and it frustrated him that he couldn't think of what it could be. It could be just his imagination. He was nervous, after all, so maybe his mind was playing tricks on him. Or maybe the guards had done something to Naric and he'd fought back, causing the tension. Yeah, that was probably it. He'd heard that slaves were often treated badly in these kinds of places, especially by the guards when they were bored. His thoughts were interrupted when the man came back, shoving a clipboard into Miramo's hands with an oddly eager look. "Here you go! Just sign these and everything should be final. Your account would be the same as your father's correct?" Miramo nodded, twitching when the man did a sort of happy dance and clap. As fast as he could, he read through the papers he was supposed to sign, noting the price. It was strangely low, the neko though, but didn't pay it much more mind than that simple though. He signed, then handed it back to the man, who took it and looked over it before handing Miramo part of the documents back and rolling up and pocketing the other. "There's your part of the papers." he said cheerfully, "As soon as you leave, he's completely your's, alright?" Not waiting to see if it was "alright" he pulled out a key from around his neck and took a pair of handcuffs and a leather cord from his belt. He attached the two, and unlocked Naric's cage. Before Naric could do anything--the man was a pro after all--he slapped the handcuffs over the neko's wrist, locking them and handing the other end of the cord to Miramo, also giving him the key. "There!" He exclaimed, much to excitedly, Miramo noted, "Thank you for your business! I'll have our guard lead you to your car, then off you go. Have a nice day!" He snickered slightly before running off, still dancing that creepy little dance. Miramo blinked. That man didn't just talk fast, he was insane! He gave Naric a shy look again, feeling rather strange again. Who wouldn't in the situation they were in? Still, it wasn't as if he could run away from all this now, so he might as well make the best of it. He offered Naric his hand to help him up out of the cage, still not exactly able to speak to him yet.

Ooc:// Not sure how you feel about cursing so i'll try not to use it. Not that I curse all the time just sometimes with Naric's attitude....it just slips. >.> Bic:// Naric was taken back by the man suddenly apearing again obviously way to excited. He watched as he quickly pa.ssed off the papers and his eyes widened in fear hearing the cage unlock. He had actually really been bought. Pinning his ears back against his skull he hissed at the man who handcuffed him. He winced slightly at the cold metal against his wrists and felt his heart speed up. He had honestly just been bought by another neko. It shocked him but at the same time terrified him. His breathing increased as he tried to streach the cuffs to free himself but moaned as they cut into his wrists. Dang it! Naric hissed in his mind. Naric started to panic slightly. He didn't want to go with the other neko but he sure didn't want to stay here. This would be his first home and first master. He had spent the last six months in a cage scaring away everyone who came remotly near his cage and yet the one time he choose to be quiet and observe they pawn him off. Figures. Naric growled. He had heard the stories from the other slaves about their previous homes. They had horrible stories, ones filled with torture and abuse, hard work and labor but then again wasn't that what a slave was for? To work for their master until they got tired of them and ship htem off to somewhere new? No! Naric hissed into his mind. He wasn't about to be someone's house pet nor someone's toy to boss around. His breathing didn't slow as he flinched back when Miramo put out his hand for Naric to grab. Naric did the opposite and pulled back placing his back firmly agianst the cold metal bards. His green eyes focused on Miramo with a slight glare. The other neko didn't know what he was doing he looked way to new to be a slave master. But is that a bad thing? Naric asked himself looking dead into Miramo's eyes. There was no hostility or hate towards him like he had seen in the other slave masters. His paniced breathing slowed a little as he turned his green eyes to Miramo's hand just staring at it wondering if he should actually take it or not. There was a battle raging inside him as his thoughts went wild. Do I want to go with him and risk the horrors of slavery? Or stay here and suffer the wrath of the guards for somehow making their lives hell? Not exactly sure what to do Naric shut his eyes and pushed his top fang down into his bottom lip. It was only seconds befoe Naric decided and opened his eyes resting them back on Miramo's hand. With a little hesiation he reached out taking it, feeling a little awkward with the handcuffs. He let out a sigh looking up at his new master with a worried ex pression not really sure what to expect. He had decided that anywhere was better than the stupid cage around him. (( Wow. Sorry for how long that is. O.o I guess I sort of got carried away. ))

((I don't mind cussing at all, so anything's fine xD I have friends who could make a sailor blush with their language ^^; )) Miramo's ears pulled back when Naric flinched away and he frowned slightly, unsure of what was going through the other neko's mind. He looked so scared and that worried Miramo. Were all slaves like this towards new masters? Or had something happened to Naric to make him act like that. Instead of trying to calm or touch the neko in any way, Miramo just stayed where he was, patiently waiting for how Naric would react next. It wasn't worth trying to calm him if it would only freak him out more. Eventually, much to Miramo's delight, Naric reached out and took his hand. Smiling softly, Miramo gently pulled the neko up and out of the cage, using his other hand--the one that was still holding loosely onto the leather "leash"--to hold onto his shoulder to keep him upright. After a moment, he was starting to feel awkward again. "Uhm, my name's Miramo." he said, realizing that Naric hadn't heard his name yet. "And..." He tried to think of something and failed. He was still having a rather difficult time getting over the whole master and slave thing. Briefly, he wondered if Ronok had as much trouble with his first slave, but when he realized his thoughts had drifted to his father, he shook his head to clear his mind. Figuring any conversation would be a bust today, he turned around and began walking in the direction of his car, hoping Naric wouldn't struggle any. ((Getting carried away is fine, just don't get annoyed if my posts aren't as long xD))

Ooc:// Your fine. ^.^ I won't get mad because I know there will be a point were I go brain dead and won't be able to post long posts anymore. lol. And sorry it took so long. I had to give my cat a bath. She gets one twice a week because she has a skin condition, which sort of sucks for her and me. Bic:// Naric slipped out of the cage with the help of Miramo but only the hard part of that was actually standing upright. He winced feeling his muscles streach and begin to ache. It had been a while since he had been able to stand up. It felt great but at the same time it hurt his back. He let out a sigh perking his ears glancing around. It felt like a whole different world now and a small smile found it's way to his face. His heart quickened not out of fear but out of joy. Just the thought of being out of the cage and away from the humans excited him. He laughed softly smirking at the guards. As soon as his eyes looked down though, his eyes rested on the metal handcuffs and leash the other neko held. His smile disapeared as he realized he was still bound by metal. Even though he was still bound in a way, he did have to admit it was better than the small cage. Naric's ears perked forward hearing the neko speak to him. His green gaze shifted to the back of Miramo's head as he spoke his name. Miramo. An interesting name. He would have told him his name butit was usless seeing he already knew it. Normally under normal conditions he would have made a comment such as 'pleased to meet you' or 'its an honor' but under these circumstances nothing was an honor nor was he pleased. His mind began to wander as he followed Miramo rather slowly getting used to the feeling of walking. I need exercise badly. He thought frowning at how weak that cage had made him. He shook his head out of disapointment letting out a soft sigh. His eyes focused on the metal handcuffs wondering if he pulled hard enough if he could get away. Do I trust him? No, I can't trust someone who pays for me. If I pull back quickly I could get free but what good would that do me? I could always try to get the key then run then again the guards are quick for fat lazy humans. Naric let out a soft growl knowing good and well his only choice was to follow the neko in front of him and go with whatever fate awaits. He realy didn't seem that bad, in fact he seemed sort of nervous. Why would a slave master be nervous? Naric asked himself trying to figure out the neko that was leading away from his own personal hell. He had a confused look on his face while watching Miramo just keeping quiet behind him.

((Yeah, it gets difficult to keep up the long posts after a while. :/ And it's fine. My computer is still being weird, plus I have homework, so I might get rather slow eventually too. Does your cat like baths, by the way? xD Mine drives me crazy because she likes being wet so if I don't lock the bathroom door well enough, she'll sneak into my tub when I'm taking a shower >_>;; )) Miramo kept his pace slow so Naric could get accustomed to walking. It was pretty obvious that he hadn't been out of that cage too often, if at all. What a hell he must have gone through! Miramo thought, realizing now why the neko was being so cautious of everything. Including me. He added to himself. He really hoped Naric wouldn't try to run or anything. Given their current health, Miramo was in much better shape than Naric and he didn't like the idea of having to use force on him, or any slave for that matter. He jumped slightly when he heard Naric growl, glancing back over his shoulder at him nervously. However, it didn't look like Naric was about to do anything troublesome, although he did seem a bit frustrated. I suppose it can't be helped... Miramo thought. After all, his father was a breaker and he was going to have to be one as well. As much as he didn't like it, it was his job to buy problem slaves and make them obedient. Finally, they arrived at his car--a simple black one that was rather common for this day and age--and he stopped, opening the p*censored*enger door and helping Naric in whether he needed help. He took a moment to reach across the neko and buckle his seat belt, unclipping the leash part but leaving the cuffs on, before closing the door. He went around to the drivers side and got in, closing his door and buckling his own seatbelt. However, at this point he did something odd. Instead of putting the key in and starting the car, he just sat there with his back flat against the seat and his hands on the wheel. After a few long moments of just staring out the front window, Miramo finally spoke up. "Are you ok?" he asked, his voice sounding somewhat odd but obviously nervous.

Ooc:// Nope she hates baths to the point where I actually have to climb in the shower and hold her to bathe her. She cradles and hugs my shoulder while I use the medicated shampoo. Its a very tiring and annoying process but it has to be done. It kills me because she complains and acts like her spirit is broken. Bic:// Naric observed the car climbing in without any fighting. He just sighed and pressed his back as far against the seat as he could closing his eyes allowing Miramo to buckle him in. He flatened his ears as his thoughts took him back to the last time he was in a car. It was the day his father drove him personally to the slave market to sell him. He let out a soft snarl as he balled his fists digging his own nails into his skin. The thought angerend him and also broke his heart not knowing how his own father could do such a thing. His thoughts were inturupted though causing to Naric to loosen his fist and glance over at Miramo. His right ear twitched as he thought about the neko's question. Am I okay? he repeated in his mind trying to figure out the answer. No, i'm not okay. I was sold by my father to be a slave. I was stuffed in a cage for six months because no one wanted to buy a neko with an attitude problem. You bought me and i'm forced to be your pet or servant whatever you choose and i'm hungry. Naric thought in his mind figuring it would be rude to just blurt out everything that was wrong with him at the current moment. His gaze narrowed on the neko as he shook his head. "No, I'm not" he said before shutting his mouth and looking out the window avoiding Miramo's gaze. He's still nervous. Why? What does he have in his head? Should I be worried about what could possibly await me? Naric asked himself sighing not understanding anything. This was all very upseting yet very confusing. His heart began pounding once again as his anger rose. "Why arn't you like them!" he snapped looking back over at Miramo not being able to take it anymore. "Why are you so scared! Isn't this what you want?" he growled holding up his hands pulling the handcuffs so the chain was tight. The hair on his tail bristled as he glanced through the window back at the guards within the slave trade. A hiss escaped his mouth trying to calm his breathing. "I've been stuck there for six months. In a cage that was way to small all because I have an attitude. The guard that shyed away from my cage has a torn arm. I bit him, ripped his arm open because he was foolish enough to hit me and now after being antaganized and tortured by humans I get sold to my own kind. All to be your pet, your servant. How do you think that makes me feel?" Naric snapped tightening his fist, wincing slightly at the pain he was inflicting upon himself. He sighed lowering his head, twitching his ears slightly, feeling his body begin to shake. He was just so frustrated. Nothing in his life made any sense and it wasn't about to anytime soon.

((Aww, poor thing xD)) Miramo glanced at Naric when he answered, mentally slapping himself. Of course he wouldn't be ok! It was stupid to even ask! Anyone who had gone through any part of that wouldn't be ok. Even he didn't feel completely ok after going through that and he hadn't even been in a cage. He sighed, turning his head to apologize only to recoil back against the door, his ears pulling back, when Naric snapped at him. Seeing the neko like that was rather scary for Miramo, but he forced his fur to lay flat and let Naric blow off some steam. Even when his words started to hurt, Miramo didn't interrupt and simply dropped his gaze, allowing himself to be yelled at. When Naric finally seemed to calm down, or at least blow off most of his rage, Miramo straightened up again, observing him closely. After a moment, he lifted on of his hands, as if to touch the neko's shoulder, but decided better of it and drew away, putting his hand back on the steering wheel. He took a deep breath before resting his forehead against the steering wheel as well. How had his father handled it? Miramo hadn't even though he'd done anything wrong and already he was feeling guilty. Still, he knew Naric was right. This whole situation was wrong. He sighed again. Part of him wanted to just break down and let the neko free, but he knew he couldn't do that. He was committed to this now and he was just going to have to deal with it. "I'm sorry." he said softly, but that was all he said. He put the key in the ignition and turned it. When the engine roared to life, he gently eased off the breaks and drove onto the road, keeping watch over Naric out of the corner of his eye.
