Shayde padded along a trail looking for a place to stay. " since my den got blown up...i need to find another place to stay until i get it fixed....like that will happen." he said.

Jay peeked out of his solitary den, seeing an absol, looking alone and homeless. "Hello there." he said in an amiable tone. "My name is Jay" His leafy tail swished eagerly.

Jay thought about offering his den to share, but decided against it. He was trying to find a mate, and Absol were usually unlucky. "Good luck then." Jay said. "Try going across the creek to the west of here, I think there's a ninetails with extra room in her den."

he nodded. what Jay diddent know is that he read his mind. " unlucky....it wasent my choice to be this way..." he muttered to himself as he drooped her head low, now sad that he was 'unlucky'.

Jay snorted angrily at the rude invasion of privacy that the absol had just given him. He shook out his fur and padded out into the eevee forests, where eevees old enough to leave their parents lived and fought until they could evolve and then seek out a mate of their own.

Calyx (( espeon :D )) ran up to Shayde. " you ditched me! " she hissed. " i heard what you were thinking." he growled. " i dont need a mate...im fine." he added. Calyc sighed, " there is a fricked Rayquaza after you....sheesh.you should just..get a mate and settle down..." Shayde interupted her:" i can handle my own."

Jay perked his ears as he heard the smooth, silken voice of an espeon. Interested, he wove through the trees for a closer look. Seeing the absol, he frowned. He supposed she was taken. Even so, he lingered in the tree a little while longer.

" ugh..you are so annoying." he hissed turning the other way. " i can handle on my own! " he growled. tears started to form in her eyes." sheesh...i only want to help you!" she yelled at him and ran the other way. upset Shayde ran the opposite way. Calyx sat against a tree and started to cry.
