Vin snorted. Of course Rain didn't lock his door. Why would he ever do that? If Rain hadn't just fallen off a cliff, Vin would have started lecturing him. Vin awkwardly entered the house, looking around. He had been inside before, but everything looked so interesting every time he entered. "Where should I put you? On the couch or on your bed?"

LOL.]] Rain shrugged his shoulders, not really caring which it was at the minute. ''Couch, I guess... It's closer.'' Whether Vin walked or not, Rain was bringing him with him into the living room, staggering slightly as he moved. ''Oh, by the way... You can spend the night here, if you want... Or, rather. I'm making you. Storms are... dangerous.'' Well, may as well make it clear from the get-go that staying the night wasn't optional.

"Thanks for offering; I wasn't exactly planning on leaving." Vin snorted. Suddenly realizing that what he said could mean something completely different, he opened his mouth again. "I-I mean, you're probably going to be sick tomorrow. And sore. And I'd be a horrible friend to just leave you knowing that." Vin shut his mouth. He probably shouldn't have said anything.

Rain laughed, flopping down on the couch, grunting slightly as he did so. ''Heh, have to be careful around you, don't I? Might try having your wicked way with me.'' He winked suggestively, being almost incapable of walking clearly not affecting his love of tormenting his friend. ''Besides, I won't get sick... I'm never sick.'' He laughed again, making himself sit up straight first and pointing to the seat next to him. He felt like doing a bit more tormenting. ''Sit. There. I'm cold.''

"How is ordering me closer to you being careful?" Vin asked, trying not to blush. Any other person would probably let What Vin had said slide, but no, this was Rain. What a friend he was. Vin chose to look around the room instead of following Rain's wishes like he probably should be doing.

''Just shut up, sit down, and hug me. I'm freezing, you're warm. Sharing is caring, dude.'' With that, he grabbed Vin's wrist and did his very best to pull him down onto the seat next to him. Oh, he was getting a hug. He was getting one now, whether Vin thought so or not. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Vin toppled over onto the couch. He hadn't been aware that Rain would be able to do that. Wasn't he supposed to be exhausted or something? Hesitantly he put his arms around Rain awkwardly. He had hugged Rain before; did it always feel this awkward? He couldn't remember. "You should probably change." The both should, actually. Vin was pretty wet too.

''I should, but I won't.'' Rain decided he was happy again. Sure, he hurt all over, was soaking wet and still freezing, but there was a plus side to all of this. Vin was warm and comfy, and it felt right, somehow, having him there beside him. Holding the other boy tightly, Rain decided now was a good time to take a nap. Closing his eyes and letting all the exhaustion of the day sink in, he fell into a blissfully dreamless sleep, still holding onto Vin.

Vin blinked and looked over at Rain. Was he really asleep? Vin tried to shake him, but it was a bit difficult, and it didn't do much. If his eye could twitch, it probably would. Vin did not appreciate being used as a pillow. He then sighed. It wasn't like he could just wake up Rain; only a stupid person would ever dare to do that. Vin shifted about, which was hard to do with the arms around him, and leaned against Rain.

Rain awoke feeling even worse than he hadthe night before, were that possible. At least Vin was still there, anyway. He'd owe him one for not moving. Damn, his head hurt, though. Not to mention everywhere else, but that pain was bearable, albeit cold. The best solution at the time seemed to be to use Vin as a teddy bear and hold him tightly, resting his head on the other male's chest.
The sound of Vin's heartbeat was soothing, and Rain closed his eyes to listen, with the added benefit of appearing to have ended up like that in his sleep. Vin really was an awesome pillow.

Vin probably would have woken up sneezing if it wasn't for the fact that his noes was stuffed up. He attempted to shift a bit in his sleep, and awoke when he couldn't. "Hum?" He mumbled, blinking repeatedly to make his vision un-blurry. He normally when he woke up, he stretched his arms up to the sky, but that was a bit difficult to do because they were pinned to his sides.
Vin poked Rain somewhere (he really couldn't see his hands with the body in his way). "Hey, are you awake?"

Rain's eyes flickered open once more, and he mumbled some incoherent string of words that likely contained some very colourful language. ''Mmhmm.'' He supposed he should probably do Vin a favour and sit up. Not that he wanted to. He sat back, bleary eyed, blinking slowly. While he was normally a morning person, his head was still fuzzy and confused. His ex pression was similar to that of a small child's, his makeup having been washed off the previous night, despite it being waterproof.
''You've a nice heartbeat.'' He spoke slowly, yawning when he'd finished the sentence.

"That's wonderful Rain. Can you move? I need to call home and tell them that no, no I did not get kidnapped by some hobo living in a forest." Vin sighed, closing his eyes. He paused, and then looked down at Rain. He forced his arm out of the other's grip before ruffling Rain's hair.

Rain responded by shaking his head, then looking at Vin like a ticked off puppy dog. ''Of course I'll move.'' He spoke through gritted teeth, still with that childish ex
pression on his face, then proceeded to move with such a dramatic flourishthat he fell off the couch, whereupon he lay on the floor with an intense hatred for the world and all that was in it, namely chairs and floors.

Vin poked Rain in the stomach with the tip of his shoe. "Let me guess, you meant to do that, right?" Vin pushed himself off the couch. Forgetting that Rain was on the ground right in front of him, Vin efficiently kicked his friend in the side and then fell on his face.

Grunting rather loudly and glaring at the person lying on top of him- who had also just kicked him- Rain proceeded to smack him upside the head, before giving up removing him and grumbling. ''Stupid idiot. You weigh a ton... Actually, you don't. But that's not the point. Get offa me.'' At that point, Rain hit him yet again before giving up alogether.

"Woops, sorry." Vin laughed awkwardly. "I didn't mean to do that." He mumbled. Vin got up, careful not to step on Rain or kick him again. He looked around at the room he was in. For some reason, he couldn't remember where the phone was, even though he had used it countless times. "Hey, where's your phone again?"

''Sure you didn't. Admit it, you're all over me.'' Rain laughed, glad to have an excuse to torment Vin again. ''Oh, on the cabinet next to the front door.'' Deciding that the floor was actually incredibly comfortable, Rain remained unmoving, lying on the floor and staring at the ceiling.

Vin attempted to cover up his blush with a snort. It was way too early for Rain to be joking like that. He walked over the the cabinet and grabbed the phone, pressing the buttons and holding it to his ear.
"Hullo? Hey, it's me. Who do you think 'me' is? Yes. Yes. No. I'm fine. I'm at a friends house. No nothing happened. I don't know. Maybe in a few hours or so. Yes, I'll be back before dinner. Love you. Bye." Vin hit the 'end' button and put the phone back where he found it.
"Mom picked up. I think it's too early for her to realize what was going on; it sounded like I woke her up." He told Rain, who had probably been listening to the conversation.

Rain, who made a habit of mentally singing songs to himself when someone was on the phone, looked up again as Vin walked in. ''Oh, good. I don't like your dad. I really want to punch him in the face.'' He smiled as if this were the most natural thing in the world, still not getting up from the floor. Quite simply, it wasn't worth the effort standing up.
''Make sure to tell him that if he tears up one of your plants again, I will not hesitate to hospitalise him.'' Rain spoke calmly, something which made it clear he was perfectly serious. No one did anything that might hurt Vin on his watch, unless it was temporary embarassment and the culprit was Rain himself.
