Calyx tilted her head back to look at him for a moment, blue eyes shining curiosity. She didn't know why, but she couldn't help but find his accent and the overall way he was speaking adorable. She mentally slapped herself. That just sounded creepy, even in her head. She turned back around and stared hard at the ground, watching everything at the edges of her vision so she wouldn't run into anything. She nodded slowly. "O-Okay," She murmured.
"I-I'll take you to the next class.. Th-the teacher's kind stupid, s-so the class is pretty e-easy.." Calyx added. She stopped once she reached the door and waited for him. They had a good five minutes before the bell rang.

Her blue eyes were looking at him with curiosity, and he wondered why. But, at her offer to show him to their next shared class, Markus shook his head before showing her a paper that all his teachers had to sign. And, being as anal as he was about this kind of stuff, he wanted to start with the first period teacher.
Though, it still felt a bit weird not knowing her name. He figured he introduce himself a bit later.

Calyx looked over the paper for a moment, seeming to deflate a bit. A frown tugged at the corners of her lips as she nodded. She didn't know why, but she felt a bit disappointed that she couldn't spend more time with him. She doubted he would still talk to her, so she felt that this was the last time. She nodded again, then glanced to the side. Calyx didn't even know his name.
She fell silent again, her gaze trained on a crack in the tiling. She wasn't fond of the next class, either. The teacher always conveniently missed when someone would throw something at her. Or taunt her, even when their voices were loud. Then there was her personal favorite; when someone would stick their leg out and trip her. She blamed it on herself. She was a klutz.

Markus folded the papers again and stuffed them in his back pocket. He watched as she frowned, but nodded. Sliding his hands into his pants' front pockets, he waited for the bell to ring. It seemed like the minutes were taking hours. Eventually, he tilted his head to one side.
"Markus."

It took a moment for this to sink in. That was his name. "I-I'm Calyx.." She told him, offering a sheepish smile. Then the bell rang, and the smile dropped again. "Bye," She said with a nod, then scurried off to the next class, which was down the hallway. She had a sinking feeling about this next class. If anything happened, she'd skip. Her ribs still hadn't stopped hurting.

Calyx.
That was a unique name. The bell rang and the smile that had been on her face vanished as she hurried down the hall to their next class. Markus sighed and watched as the halls became flooded with other students. Once he was sure the classroom was empty, he slipped it an walked up to the teacher who sat behind his desk.
"Are you Markus?" the teacher asked. The Greek nodded. "You were supposed to be in the first class, but since you are new to the school I will make an exception." Markus nodded and the teacher handed him some papers and the textbook -- which are now in his backpack -- before signing the paper. With all the stuff he needed, the vampire left back into the crowded halls.
"To scholeío mou thymízei mia agorá sto ýpsos tou kalokairioú," he muttered, weaving through the throng of chattering students.

Calyx hated crowds. She was so short and usually no one would see her until they'd bumped into her or pushed her against the wall on accident. Others didn't care, they just plowed right into her as if she was just a mere obstacle in their way. The thought of skipping grew more appealing with each shove or push she dealt with on her way to the classroom.
Once she had made it into her classroom, it had already been filled up halfway and the teacher was busy looking through papers in her closet. She bit her lip nervously and made her way over to her desk. Someone promptly stuck out their foot in front of her, though she didn't trip. She stumbled a bit, which earned a couple of snickers from the students. The girl blushed a bit from embarrassment and settled down in her seat.
She winced a bit when a balled up paper thumped against her head. She stopped and paused, glanced down at it, then returned to her work silently.

Markus walked into the classroom just as the paper ball thumped against Calyx's head. His crimson eyes narrowed and a low growl rumbled up from his chest. But he continued on towards the teacher of the class. After he got the necessary stuff -- papers and textbook -- and got the teacher to sign the paper he needed to turn back into the office, he went to grab an empty seat close by Calyx.

[ Yay<3 ]
Calyx tilted her head to the side and watched him for a moment, then turned back to what she had been doing. Seeing that most of class had all bombed on a test last Friday, the teacher decided the best thing to do was study. So for the whole period, all they had to do was read a few chapters from a book. Calyx had been one of the few who hadn't gotten a bad grade on the text, but she read anyway.
Her ribs throbbed painfully. She let one of her hands drop to grip her side slightly, as if it would take the pain away. The teacher turned her back on the class to write something on the board. Someone a few desks over scribbled something on a note and passed it back, and eventually it fell in her hands. Surprisingly, it had her name on it. She tilted her head to the side curiously, then slipped it into her pocket.

[ I guess. ;3 ]
So far, the day had gone better than Calyx had expected. She had gotten through most of her classes with only minor incidents. After getting out of the lunch line, she made her way over to an empty table in the far back of the cafeteria. Like usual, the lunch food was crap. Today they served something that looked similar to pizza. Or a really mushy meatloaf. Either way, Calyx didn't eat it.

It not a fail. o3o

By the time lunch had rolled around, he had got all the stuff he needed from the teachers so far and their respective signatures. His stomach rumbled slightly, reminding him he'd need to feed in the coming month, but he could still eat normal human food before the hunger got to much. In the lunch line, all he got was an apple and a bottle of water. With the bottle in one hand, he tossed the apple up in the air and caught it with relative ease as he looked fore a good place to sit.
Then, he spotted Calyx sitting alone near the back of the cafeteria and made his way over to sit with her. Getting close enough, he cocked his head to one side and spoke just loud enough for her to hear, "May... I?"

Calyx snapped out of her thoughts and flinched slightly at the sound of his voice. Shaking her head slightly, she tilted her head up to look at him. She blinked. "Uh, s-sure.." She mumbled, nodding to a seat. She pushed her tray to the center of the table and swallowed hard, hanging her head slightly so she could stare down at her hands.

Markus sat in the seat across from her, setting his backpack down on the floor next to his feet. He dug his teeth into the apple, opened the bottle, tore a nice chunk out of the fruit before chasing it down with a mouthful of water. After taking out a few more bites of the apple, he asked with some hesitancy, "How was day?"

[ I'm gonna make Calyx open it in a bit; it was pretty much hatemail and harassment. xDD ]
Calyx traced figures into the table lightly with her finger. She stopped and paused, glancing up at him. She shrugged lightly and looked to the side. "I-It was fine," She replied with a nod, offering a small smile. "H-How 'bout you?.." She asked after a moment, raising her hand to move her bangs out of her eyes.

[[ Okayz. ]]
He watched the movement of her fingers, suddenly wanting to feel them against his own skin. What the Hades? Where did that thought come from? Shaking his head slightly to get rid of the thoughts. "Boring," he said, finishing off the apple and chasing it down with the rest of the water.

"Y-Yeah, school t-tends to be.." Calyx murmured, smiling slightly down at the table. She slowly raised her blue gaze up to him, pausing at the sight of his lips. The sudden thought of her own against his snapped into her head, and her eyes widened a bit. She blushed a bit from her own thoughts and tilted her head down to stare at the table once more. Where had that come from? She asked herself.
