Lapras wasnt able to dodge it. But Lapras had the ability Water Absorb, rendering it useless. "Lapras, Sing" Ash said. Lapras sang a song similar to what a jigglypuff would sing.

Loki's eyes widened and he immediately began feeling drowsy. He clapped his hands over his ears. "Swampert! Dig!" Swampert nodded, already starting to feel the effects of Lapras's singing. He dug under quickly, using the dirt to cover him up and shielding himself from the noise. His head clearing, he decided he would wait it out until Loki gave him the signal to come up.

Lapras continued to sing. "Head for the water," Ash said, pointing towards the lake. Lapras slowly made its way to the lake, singing while doing so. Ash plugged her ears before she fell asleep. ((Fail))

Loki gritted his teeth. This was going nowhere. And what's worse, the plugging your ears thing didn't really work! He slid his foot to the right exactly a foot, as if to take a fighting stance while trying keep from falling asleep, before tapping it twice. Underground, Swampert grinned slightly, its inner radar picking up Loki's signal. A slide of the foot only a foot made enough vibration for Swampert to pick up and was the signal to come up. Two foot taps meant to come up and use Hammer Arm from the back. He didn't even need a second to sense Lapras was going to to the lake. He dug up, busting through the dirt as his arms glowed blue. He brought them down, aiming for the center of Lapras's shell. |

Lapras continued to sing. Ash had to hit herself to keep from falling asleep. Lapras didnt notice Swampert in time, and was unable to dodge the blow. You could hear a crack come from the shell if you listened. The shell absorbed some of the shock, but it was still a lancing blow. Lapras's back ached. It stopped for a momentt, before continuing to make its way to the lake, continuing to sing. Im going to have to tell it to stop singing soon, Ash thought.

"My god, shut it up already!" Loki cried, staggering and falling down on one knee. Aside from Earthquake, Sing was probably the worst attack to use in an arena. At this rate, everyone would be asleep within a minute. Swampert nodded, it's own eyes clouded over slightly. It aimed an ice beam at Lapras's mouth, hoping to shut it up, but it couldn't be sure it's accuracy was dead on.

Ash smirked slightly. "Make me," she said tiredly. Just a little while longer... she thought. Lapras turned its head, and instead of hitting its mouth, it hit its ear. It's ear froze, and got a severe case of frostbite. Other than that, it didnt effect Lapras too much, since Lapras is a Ice/Water type. Lapras continued to sing, waiting for Swampert to fall asleep. It was closing in on the lake.

Loki was on his hands and knees know, having given up on the fruitless attempt of blocking the sound with his hands. Suddenly he got an idea. Shakily, he pulled Swampert's ball from his belt and recalled the half-asleep Pokemon. He threw another Pokeball into the air, releasing his Dragonite. It flapped it's wings glaring at Lapras with sleepy eyes.

"Thats enough Lapras," Ash said. Lapras stopped singing. It slid into the lake. "Icebeam," Ash said. Lapras opened its mouth, and a light blue ball formed in it. A light blue beam of ice shot from it. ((Fail))

Loki released a relieved breath and stood up, slapping his face roughly to wake himself up. "Dragonite, you use Ice Beam as well!" he commanded. Dragonite snapped it's mouth open, a blue ball forming in front of it. After a second, several beams of ice shot at Lapras's one, colliding in mid-air and pushing it back at Lapras.

[[Umm, how about having Lapras duck into the water and the ice beam freezing it over. Or, have the Ice Beam backfire on Lapras.]]

((Okay,)) Lapras dove under the water before it hit. The lake froze over. Lapras banged against the ice a few times, but wasnt able to crack it. ((Fail))

"Trapped?" Loki quipped, "Too bad. Dragonite, Twister!" Dragonite nodded, it's wings growing bigger as it flapped them. Its wings created a gust, picking up dirt and getting larger as it went to the ice, breaking through it and picking up ice and water, turning into a mini-hurricane right over the lake and turning the water below into a whirlpool.

Ruby was asleep. She was hoping that Loki and his Pokemon wouldn't fall asleep so much that she forgot to keep herself awake. She was just sleeping. Ruby's Chimecho kept ringing it's bell trying to wake her up. "Chime chime" It said. Ruby opened one eye, looked around and said. "Oh no..... I fell asleep!" She looked at the battle, and noticed Loki sent out Dragonite, and Ash's Lapras was trapped. "Well, at least he's still winning!" Ruby said cheerfully.

Lapras was getting sucked in by the whirlpool the ornado had created, and being hit with chunks of ice. It didnt take long for it to faint.

Loki nodded before shouting, "Dragonite, enough." The dragon Pokemon nodded and ceased flapping it's wings. Without his supply of energy, the Twister slowed before disappearing. Dragonite tensed, waiting for the Pokemon's reaction. The referee took one look at Lapras before raising a flag. "Lapras is unable to battle." he said, "Dragonite has won the match!" On the screen above the stadium, each of the Trainer's Pokemon had been displayed beside a picture of them. The Lapras picture beside Ash turned grey with a 'ding'. |
