Angel, having felt the stone's mythical aura, smiled brightly at Ara. "Wonderful, isn't it?" he said, appearing next to her. His white wings looked silver under the moonlight, and he looked like a true angel, as he was standing there. The only thing that made him seem less godly was his smile, which was both loving and goofy at once. But he had to focuse on the task at hand. Giving Ara's waist a small squeeze, he took the dagger from Ace's hands. He was welcomed with a timid shock, one that didn't seem cold or warm, but just right. He slowly drew the dagger along the palm of his hand and into the carved dip of the rock. Flowing out of his wrist were little golden drops, that created a small pool of gold liquid that stained the surface of the rock. He turned the dagger over to Ace, who took it gratefully, though without uttering a word. Right now was very important.

It symbolized blance. And the allience of all creatures.

     Slashing the knife across her wrist, a few drops of sparkling crimson blood dripped out, mizing in with the gold of Angel's, causing it to turn a shade darker. Next came Glimmer, who's sparkling green blood slid down her arm, before cascading into the reddish-gold. She gave the knife to Drake.

     Ace lifted the goblet to her lips and dropped the liquid down into her mouth. Gasping as it burned her, she started coughing. She clutched at her throat, hoping it would stop soon. The same happened to Glimmer and Angel. Ace and Glimmer were on their knees on the ground, and Angel was bracing himself against the altar. As the pain subsided, they felt the back of their necks burning, with a searing pain. Above them, through the hole in the roof of the cave, the sky flashed a bloody red, the moon turned black, and lightning zigzaged the sky, before everything turned back to normal.

"Oh, my god." Ace said, weezing.

     The "crazy mermaid" nodded, kissing him on the cheek lightly. She stood up, not wanting to stay on the temple's cold floor anymore. She offered a hand to Drake, smiling admiringly down at him. "That crazy mermaid?" she raised one perfect eyebrow as she stared questionigly at him.

     Angel smiled, closing his eyes as he played with the hair on the back of her neck. Stroking the new tattoo, he said, "As do I." before kissing her. They were in their own little world, and nothing could release them.

Except for an annoyed Ace.

     "Get your lovey-dovey a*ses of the d*mn floor this instant," Ace growled, putting the knife back down on the alter. "We came here and did what we needed to do, now we have to go back." And, she didn't like how she was the only one who wasn't acting all "lovey dovey". As she so rudely put it.

     Ace smiled, showing off pointed canines. "Of course, leech," she answered back without skipping a beat. "So shut up, and let's get going." She was looking through the hole in the ceiling at the moon. After a few seconds though, lighting flashed and thunder boomed. Rainn started pouring in through the ceiling, filling the cracks in the floor with streams of water.

     "We won' be able to leave, bot until tomorrow." Glimmer responded, staring at the rain now pounding on the alter. "We can't ride out in that storm, at least not now that we've seen all the dangers on the way here. If we go today, we may not be fully prepared for the possibility that we are attacked." She reasoned.

     "There are known to bea series of level's in this temple with guest rooms. We can each have one," Angel declared. ace nodded, hisitent, and and so did Glimmer. Glimmer was tired, and anyway, she did love the feeling of a ncie and comphortable bed. so long as the bed's actually had matresses. She frowned, following Ace down the stairs of the temple. The girls were to sleep on the 2nd floor, the guys on the 3rd. The alter was on the 5th floor, anyway. And the first floor was just a grand ballroom. The fourth floor was a place that held room with food in it, though none of it was ever spoiled for some reason. And to Ace's pleausre, there were also rumored to be weapons there, too. Which she was greatly excited bout seeing tomorrow. The first underground floor was the kitchen, and the two floors bellow that were the dungeons. Really, it resembled mroe of a hotel than a temple, but it was really a sanctuary. A sanctuary for all creatures alike. Ace supposed that the could stay for a little while longer.

     "You coming Ara?" Ace called back over her shoulder, poking her head through the entrance. "You can't saty with Angel the entire night, you know." She smirked, snickering. Glimmer blushed, chuckling.

     Angel stopped, putting an arm infront of Drake from keeping him from following Glimmer. "Okay, this is where we get off," he pointed to a dimly lit hall that had bedrooms lining each wall. He didn't really want to leave Ara, but he did like to have time alone, which was what he was gonna get. He gave Ara a small kiss on the forehead before turning back, his wings brushing the edges of the hall. He waved over his shoulder before dissapearing in a doorway. As he opened the door, white light seemed to brighten up the entire hall, streaming through the doorway, before leaving once Angel had dissapeared and closed the door. "Goodnight," came a whisper.

     Ace waved to Angel, as did Glimmer. Glimmer gave Drake a peck on the lips before tapping his cheek with her palm, turning back around to follow Ace, who again, hadn't waited for any of them. Was Ace really that exauhsted? "Come on, Ara," Glimmer layed her hand on Ara's shoulder before turning slipping down the stairs, skipping two at a time, leaving a trail of salty water behind. "Watch your step!" she called, giggling over her shoulder.

Drake walked behind Angel, not saying anything for fear that the angel would vaporize him.  Drake just chose a room at the end of the hall.  Finding that it was covored in flowers, and paintings, he walked out and shut the door behind him.  He peeked in a few more rooms before checking the line of doors on the opposite side of the hall that Angel's room was in.  The rooms here had black marble and beds with black silk clothes.  There was fires already burning on torches on the wall.  This was more like it.  Wouldn't a game room be cool too?Drake thought.  Then a plain, black wooden door appeared in the wall right next to him.  That was odd.  He opened the door and it was a complete lounge with every sort of game console attached to a flat screen tv.  There were also bean bags and couches as well as a computer and fridge.  Drake closed the door.  Freaky, yet awesome.  Drake ran out of his room and across to Angel's closed door.  He knocked.  "Dude!  You gotta come check this out, man."

Ara checked out the rooms until she found one she liked.  It was black and dark.  She just lounged on the bed thinking about stuff.  Then she went to explore the temple.  One floor looked like a huge banquet hall with long tabled with bowls of fruit and meats, and bread, and even goblets of wine.  She shut the big golden doors and headed to a set of steel doors that opened automatically when she approached.  It opened to racks and racks of weapons.  Swords, knive, daggers, nunchucks, bows and arrows, spears, and there were even viles of colored liquid.  It smelled like poison.  Ara touched the cold tip of a spear.  It's sharpness pricked her finger and she licked it to stop the bleeding.  Then, she started flipping around some metal nunchucks with mysterious engravings.  She found out she was good at it.  The bows and arrows really fascinated Arachelle.  There was a beautiful wooden set that was engraved and hard and sharp.  They even smelled like fresh wood.  She tested the arrows on some targets hanging on the walls, bull's eye.  Then the aching in her throat grew stronger.  Ara reluctantly left the interesting room.

She found her way easily out of the lovely temple and into a huge feild.  There were a line of trees marking a large forest.  Wow, Ara hadn't realized the temple was this big.  She ran at top speed toward the forest, removing her dagger.  Even though she really didn't need it.

     Glimmer walked down the halls, peeping through ones with only white doors. With each door she opened, she found everything beautiful. But not her. On one of the last doors she tried, she opened the door to find a large cavern. The cavern was illuminated with some lights in places, but none in others. There was a small bank with soft sand, and beautiful crystal clear water lapping softly at the s*censored*. Tearing off her clothes, she jumped in. Her legs turned into her scaley green tail, and her hair swept long past her knees. She swam as deep as she could, though finding it was a deep as the ocean, she kicked with a powerful push off the ocean floor. Flying through the surface, she did a flip out of the water. As she did so, she landed back into the water with a splash. Water exploded on the walls of the cavern, and the cavern exploded with light, full of shining blue crystals.

     Glimmer giggled with pleasure. She could stay here forever. Swimming back down, she found a large shell surrounded by long sea gr*censored*. It was a giant purple oyster. The inside was cushy, almost pillow-like. The "pearl" was really a round pillow that molded to fit your head perfectly. She sighed with pleasure and content and fell asleep.

     Ace chose the second white door she saw. Opening it, what she saw surprised her. What it was was a giant area. On the west side, a large forest with different types of plants and animals. To the South, a giant shimmering lake. To the north, open fields and meadows with thousands of beautiful wildfloors. And to the east, a rocky area with bloulders. And in the middle of it all, a cottage. A cozy looking one at that. But the best part was that the full moon shown brightly over the entire area, casting a hazy reflection on the beautiful lake. Ace felt herself letting go, and soon she was on four paws as she howled up at the moon. Her searching howl was responded too by even more howls. Soon the howls filled the night. 

     Ace smiled, turning back to human. She ran to the cottage, curious to see what else was there. But really, she didn't need anything more. It was all perfect already. Opening the door to the cottage, she was surprised to find a large bed there, the frame twisted pieces of wonderously carved branches from fallen trees. The matress was snug, and it looked to be filled with feathers. Goose feathers. The bed was covered with a green quilt. But the best part was, that in the corners of the rooms appeared to be sleeping wolves. And there seemed to be a door leading to the basemebt of the cottage. Ace tilted her head to the side, wondering. What more could there be? she asked herself, slowly descending the staircase. As she turned the corner, she gasped. The room. It was a weapons room. "Perfect," she purred.

     Angel had opened his door without thinking of what was beyond the doorway. He was met by a blue sky, filled with fluffy white clouds. In the far corner was a marble castle. Their were little flower pedals everywhere, and doves flying through the sky. Angel smiled, stepping onto a cloud. It's just like home. he thought to himself. In a few minutes he was standing infront of the castle. Stepping up the grand staircase, he found himself infront of an open doorway. Stepping through, he was met with a luxurious bedroom, complete with a marble bed, and more stuff that no one would understand. Stuff that were very improtant to Angels.

     Hearing a knock that seemed to echo around his perfect world, he stepped out of the castle, found the path that led back to the doorway of his new world. Opening the door, he saw Drake standing there. "Yea?"
