And. How long does it take for a newborn's eyes to change? I hear that a lot of babies are born with blue eyes that change to their final color later. Or would Luke already have his bright green eyes?)

(( Hm, I had no idea that babies' eyes changed color O: e can already had hims beautimous eyes if you want xD And Adam can wake up any time you want him too ^^ James is just having his moment with Luke xD Adam had 9 months to carry him around lol ))

Luke lifted his tiny hands to put them on the bottle, suckling in a rather content fashion on the nipple. He blinked once before he looked up at his father with big, bright green eyes. The newborn made a little noise that sounded quite happy. Now that he was being fed, he was quite the happy baby, satisfied with what was going on.
(Cx Let's see how James reacts.
And sorry for the small reply. Not much one can do with a newborn, lol.)

[[ rofl I know ;D ]] James's eyes widened slightly at the intensity of Luke's striking green eyes. That was a surprise, James would have bet money on the fact that his and Adam's baby would have Blue eyes like them. He certainly got the dark hair from them. He found himself smiling anyway, it didn't matter what color his eyes were. He was just glad that he was alive and obviously well. The formula in the bottle began to get lower slowly, so he raised the bottle slightly for him. Amazed, but only slightly, that he was so hungry. James was still extremely tired, but sitting here was completely worth the nine months or running dizzying circles to make Adam more comfortable.

After a little while of Luke suckling contently on the bottle, Adam walked in, grimacing slightly at how sore he was. He let out a yawn before he stretched out and rubbed his eyes in a drowsy manner. When he saw James sitting in the chair feeding Luke, he wandered over to look down at the little baby. He blinked in surprise when he saw the color of his eyes. "He...has my father's eyes..." he murmured softly, his voice a bit hoarse from the previous night.
Luke blinked as his 'mother' appeared in his line of sight, big green eyes focusing on him for a bit before he closed them again, concentrating on his bottle.
(Ohey. How old should Luke be when Addy has the miscarriage?)

[[ Hmm... A year? Or a few months over/under? I don't know XD Not too much ,3. ]] James looked up at Adam, "Your dad's?" He asked, then looked baby down at the concentrated newborn. "I was wondering about that. I thought he might have blue eyes, but then again my parents both had brown eyes and blonde hair so..." He ran a quick hand through to his hair to pull it out of his face and watched Luke for a few more quiet moments before he looked back up at Adam. "How do you feel?" He asked him, worried about if he was feeling well or not. Wondering if he should really be up walking quite yet.

But srsly. They were...seniors? Which means they graduated...and have to leave to go home... Oh dear. XD)
Adam leaned forward, resting his arms atop the chair, followed by his head atop his arms. "My dad had blond hair with the brightest green eyes I'd ever seen, while my mom had black hair with eyes that were a shade of blue that could rival the Carribbean Sea," he told the other as he watched their son. "And I'm just a bit sore and still pretty tired, but I'm okay," he answered with a smile before he sighed, burying his face into his arms. "Mm, James, what're we going to do when we absolutely have to leave...?" he asked softly as he began to chew on his lower lip nervously.

(( XD I don't think that James has a home to got home to lol )) James listened to the deion on Adam's parents and ten tried to imagine them in his head. So he got his mothers eyes and their son got his father's. He'd rather Luke have green eyes than his parents brown ones. He couldn't stand his own parents, and Adam almost spoke his thoughts then. He thought about it for a moment before he answered the other, what were they going to do? He wasn't sure himself. He looked up at Adam, resting his head on the back on the chair. "I'll figure it out." He a.ssured the other. He figured that he was going to have to look for another job because the coffee shop was only for students looking for more money.

Adam lifted his head to look at James. He nodded slightly, giving him a soft smile before leaning down to give the other a kiss. He'd missed being able to do things like bend down, or even just see his feet, but most of all he'd missed not being able to get close to James because of his big belly.
After a bit, he moved to nuzzle his lover. "And don't forget that you have to burp him, unless you want me to do it," he said, changing the subject as he watched their baby eating, a soft, warm look on his face.

James kissed the other back while he could, then ran a hand through his hair. He's missed the close contact over the past few months too, not that they hadn't gotten close to each other over the months. "I'll do it." He told him, "Unless you want to." He added. If Adam wanted to then he didn't mind, but if not, he'd do it for him of course. [[ lol xD I'm not sure what to post for Alex lol X3 ]]

Adam looked at James again, then chuckled softly. "I got to carry him around for nine months. I'll let you have your moment," he told him as he reached out to play with the other's hair. It was so soft and he loved the feeling of it between his fingers.
He was also enjoying the peace of this first day of his and James's child's life. He and James were going to make sure their son had the best life possible, he knew this for sure. This was instinctive, the need to care for their baby the best way they possibly could.

[[ Haha XD ]] James smiled and took his eyes away from the other and back down to the baby boy in his arms. While he waited a few minutes to see if his suckling would decrease, he also silently enjoyed the feel of Adam's finger's through his hair. He'd always liked that feeling though he'd never quite knew why. When Luke's suckling finally decreased the bottle was nearly empty. James gently maneuvered him to where he was resting against his shoulder and then proceeded to softly pat him on the back to encourage burping. Luke make a small noise that could only be described as a baby burp, success. ROFL!!!
