Deak honestly didn't know what just happened as he hit the floor. He looked up to see Jason and glared. "My best friend is dead, Daisy is dead and your here! Thats whats wrong!" Deak blurted out. He got up and pushed Shadow out of the doorway before shutting it in her face. As he leaned against the door, Deak slowly slid down until he was sitting on the floor. He tucked his knees against his chest and laid his head on his knees. "I hate my life, I hate my life..." Deak began to repeat.

Shadow watched how the door just shut in her face. She grew angry and hit the door with the side of her fist. She looked back at Jason and sighed. "Sorry you had to see that. We've all been through some tough times. And Deak.. I dont know he usually isnt like this." she said quietly. Jason nodded his head, understandingly. Shadow looked out the window and noticed there was still some sunlight. "Im going out, just stay here and dont bother Deak unless you want a knife in your shoulder." she said sarcastically. Jason's eyes widened when he turned his gaze back to Deak's door. "But what if he notices your gone?! Then he'll go at me!" he exclaimed. Shadow rolled her eyes,"Your a big guy. Handle it." she said. Jason then nervously nodded her head and watched her leave, jumping on rooftops. "Parkour..? Who would've known." he said to himself noticing Shadows tricks.

Deak ignored the pound on the door. He sat there for a few seconds realizing his stomach hurt. It rumbled a few times before he actually got up. He silently opened the door and walked out. Deak emotionlessly walked past Jason like he wasn't there. After ending up in the kitchen, Deak scavenged through the cupboards. He realized their trip to the pool was unsuccessful, which brought him back to thinking about Zeak. He shook it off once he found a big bag of chips and headed into the room Jason was. He stood in front of him with the bag and looked him in the eyes like he was going to hurt him. "Want some?" Deak asked Jason.

Jason had nearly fallen asleep when he heard the door open and Deak come in. He widened his eyes and covered his head with two hands. "No dont kil-" he was about to say until Deak had offered him some chips. He gave him a weird look and slowly reached into the bag. "Thanks..?" he replied

Name: Jason Mathers Gender: Male Age: 16 Personality: Jason is a very nice and sweet guy. He can sometimes be scared of the little things and he notices it. He tries to be helpful as much as he can and is a little curious. He can be a bit adventurous and puts other in front of him Weapon: A pistol and a short dagger. Though he's better with a sniper History: Before the outbreak Jason was pretty popular and athletic at his school. One day he was in the gym when another jock came in and attacked everyone. After that he found Tyler's army and joined as one of the guards. After Tyler's rule Jack came to take charge and it was hostile. Guards were placed everywhere and when Jason tried to escape Jake caught him and threw him into the storeroom with two walkers. He killed both of them but Jake said if he did it again he would be in a ditch filled with them. Other: _

Deak held the bag out as Jason took some chips. He then took some for himself before sitting down on a coach faced towards a TV. "I wish it still worked." Deak said as he mashed the buttons on the remote. After throwing the remote on the floor he took another hand full of chips and shoved them in his mouth. Deak turned his head so he could see Jason. "You can come sit you know." Deak chuckled. "I'll try not to kill you." He joked.

Jason raised an eyebrow and had no idea what was going on. Earlier he had steam comming out of his ear and wanted to kill him, now he wanted to sit and chat. He then slowly sat down next to him and stayed silent akwardly. "Um, Shadow said she'll be back later.. I noticed she knows Parkour.." he said trying to break the silence.

Deak looked over to Jason. "What'd you expect?" Deak rolled his eyes. "She's the most badass person I've ever known. I used to idolize her before all this happened." he went back to staring at the TV screen. "And my friend Zeak got to be her boyfriend for the short time he had left." Deak sighed. Why he was talking to this guy like this, Deak didn't know. All he knew was that he was going to have to get used to this guy if he wanted to stick with Shadow.

Deak glared at him for the stalker comment, but the part about Zeak turning made something in him snap. "Oh no. Zeak didn't turn, Shadow stabbed his face before he could. I mean sure it was for the best, but did she have to be so ruthless about it?" Deak angrily shoved more chips in his mouth, which oddly calmed him down a bit. He's not very nice when he's hungry.

Jason was a bit surprised to hear that Shadow could end her own boyfriend herself. "H-How..? I didnt know she could be ruthless.. Was she violent when you guys met her?" he asked, wanting to know more. *+*+*+*+* Shadow had secretly gone back to the pool. When she got there, Zeaks corpse was halfway a skeleton. She realized some of the walkers still living inside the pool had eaten some part of him. She looked aroun at the living dead, and for a second everything came back to her that day it first started. Watching a xivilian being eaten while she couldve done something, rescuing Daisy from the car, relizing she had feeling for Zeak, the day Daisy first wanted to question her because she was afraid and suspicious, the day Zeak died, the day she was caught by Jake and tried to escape only to be caught again and have him torment her by calling her a murdererand realizing it was true, and finally Daisy dying as well and just meeting Jason, only to be told their place would be bombed three days from now. Everything in her snapped and she went on a killing spree inside the pool. Nasty blood lay everywhere and some on her dagger. She glared at all the bodies and realized she had only made her clothes dirtier and they smelled like metal.

Deak chuckled. "She's been like that for a long time. At least ever since I knew she existed." Deak said and turned back to the TV screen. "At least until she met Zeak." He thought for a second and propped up from his slouching position. "Hey! Why don't we make a grave for Zeak? I mean if you'll help me i'll probably hate you less." Deak joked. He stud up from the couch. "We'll have to go the the pool first, then to my apartment. He had a few things he always told me he wanted to be buried with." Deak explained.

Jason stood up after mentioning that if he'd help him make a grave for this Zeak guy that he would hate him less. He smiled a bit, "R-Really?" he asked hopefully. At this point he would do anything to get Deak to fully accept him into the group. "Wheres the pool?" he asked.
Shadow had found an old black tank-top on one of the zombies. It seemed a bit weird to take it from her but it was actually cleaner that what she was wearing now. Shadow took off her own shirt and put the new one on. It felt better to wear this instead of a smelly, stinky, bloody shirt. She looked around at the rest of the corpes's and watched as blood dripped from their heads. She smiled slyly to herself and remembered watching an old Zorro movie on how he would mark a 'Z' everywhere he struck. Shadow attempted it herself on a wall but it looked more like a backwards 'Z' than an 'S'. She then looked at Zeaks body and shed a single tear. Shadow then left the pool and decided to explore the city a bit more. She had a feeling she was going crazy inside but she wasnt sure.

Deak smirked. "Just follow me bro." He said hopping out of the window and down the latter. He started to walk down the street towards the pool, then looked back. "You coming?" He chuckled. Thats when a idea popped into Deak's mind. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" He yelled out and began to run. When he passed a walker, he just kept laughing and dodged their rotten arms by spinning and turning.

Jason let out a small smirk when Deak shouted and began to run down the street. I dont get it, one minute he's evil, the next nice, and now a complete wackjob. He thought to himself. Jason climbed down as well and chased after him, carefully watching where the walkers were. One was too slow to catch him so he continued on until he was inside the pool alongside Deak. He then looked at all the slayed bodies and back at Deak, giving him a concerned look. "What happened?" he asked softly.
Shadow found her old apartment and let out a sigh before walking in. She hadnt been here for months.After passing some levels she found her door and slowly walked in. She looked around and felt as if she didnt remember what this plae was. There was their christmas tree. Most of the lights were out and something shined underneath it. She pulled it out and realized it as a gift. She slowly unwrapped it and found a note and a wooden knife. Note: Dear Shadow, Sorry if you didnt see us leave today. Something happened with your cousin Danny and we had to g check on him. He seemed to be getting the flu so we have to spend our morning and afternoon with him. I know we arent the best parents but we do care about you, no matter what. Your father wanted to widdle this for you, to make up for not being there. Merry Christmas and take care. We love you. End Note.
Shadow held the wooden knife in her hand and sobbed. She held it close to her heart and kept reading the note over and over again. We love you. We love you. We love you. If only she had the chance to say the same. Shadow then stood up and wiped away the tears. She then hooked the knife at her belt loop and folded the note to put it in her pocket.
