Shadow laughed quietly when Deak had fallen asleep on the couch. She then glanced over to Jason whose shirt was almost drenched with water. Shadow laughed as she noticed his hair was wet as well and he shook it like a dog. She then turned back to Deak and planted a small kiss on his cheek. "We have to get our stuff ready." She said back to Jason. In a minute Shadow came back downstairs with a military duffle bag which had everything she needed. Jason,on the other hand, only had a small backpack. Jason then went to wake Deak up, it was almost midnight. "Deak come on, we have to go." He said tiredly.

"Five more minutes mom..." He yawned and turned on his side. He then jolted up. "God, I feel asleep didn't I? Sorry." Deak said as he forced himself up. All he grabbed was his gun and those chips he never finished. Well, along with a few other things he stuffed into a backpack. "I'm ready when you are." He said looking from Shadow to Jason.

Shadow nodded and headed down the ladder. It was practically pitch black but the still flickering street lamps were dimly lit. Shadow grabbed a flashlight from her bag and turned it on, making a path of light in front of them. "We cant possibly walk the whole way, an we?" Jason asked the both of them. To the left of her eye, Shadow saw a pick-up truck. "Nope, as long as we can get gas, we'll be fine." she said and ran over. Jason followed closely behind and inspected it. When he looked to the back there was a pool of blood.. and a body. It then bounced up and tried to grab Jason. "AH!!" He shouted. Shadow looked and saw Jason being attacked, she gasped and quickly grabbed her dagger and drove it into the zombies head. Shadow and Jason's heart pounded and he quickly shook it off. Shadow then hot-wired the engine and it started. "Looks like the guy in the back was the last one to use this. But, he did leave more than half a gallon of gas. And theres two more cans here in the passanger seat." Shadow said, noticing the extra gas cans there convieniently. "Jason, you should sit in the back. Your better at shooting than me and Deak here." she said, and Jason climbed in the back, rolling out the dead body and cleaning the small blood pool with an old rag. Shadow then waited for Deak to climb in. "I can drive if ya want. Ive had some experience." she offered. // Yay a truck Shadow found out of nowhere! :D

"Nah I got this." He said, as he hopped into the drivers seat. Deak remembered the mustang he had driven with Daisy and smiled. That was probably the best memory he had with her. Deak then waited a second before putting his foot on the gas. "Here we go." He bit his lip. Deak loved to drive, but he never got a car of his own. He turned on the headlights and began to drive. It wasn't but a few minutes of driving before he spotted a figure in the distance. "What is th-" He stopped and slammed the breaks when he realized it was a girl. He stopped just in time. Her ex pression was shocked, but Deak's was even more shocked. He couldn't believe his eyes. "J-Jade?"

Personality: Jade is a really cheery type of girl. She's an optimist and can be very fun to hang around. Sometimes she can get a bit bossy and is easily annoyed.
History: Jade grew up with Zeak and Deak and was, at one point, Zeak's girlfriend. After they broke up, the three of them stayed great friends.
Other: She is kick ass with a sword.

Shadow was just about to relax when Deak stopped all of a sudden and stared out to the distance. "Deak, lets go its just a walk-" she stopped when she heard it cry Deaks name. She then unsheathed her dagger, thinking maybe it was an enemy. Shadow then turned her head back to Deak. "Who is she?" she asked.
Jason was already sleeping when Deak slammed on the break and he flew back, hitting his back against the metal of the truck. He turned to see a figure talking to Deak, and Deak looking surprised.

Deak looked to Shadow, then back to the girl. "That's Jade..." He said opening the truck door. "Hey! Jade get in!" He said without Shadow's permission. He couldn't believe it. The girl he loved, but could never have. Right in front of him. Then he looked back to Shadow. What about Shadow? Deak honestly had no idea of what to think about Shadow. All he could think about was her rejecting him. He shook it off.

Jade rubbed her eyes and squinted to see threw the tinted windows. "Deak?" She asked puzzled. When she heard him tell her to get in the car, she did so. Deak got out so she could get in and once he was back in, she was smushed between a girl she didn't know and Deak. Jade turned to the other girl. "I'm Jade. Whats your name?" She asked as Deak began to drive again.

Shadow felt akward between the two of them, being squished and all. After Jade asked for Shadows name she didnt give it to her, she just didnt trust her yet, thats all. "Um, I'll just climbed to the back with Jason then O-o" Shadow said trying to change the subject. Shadow then made her way to the cardoor before Deak could start the truck again. Shadow then hopped in the back with Jason. "Who was that?" he asked . "Eh, I dont know. Must've been some girl Deak knew before." . "Your not jealous are you?" "Ha! As if, besides. They probably just need to catch up with each other. Thought I'd give them some space." she replied Jason smiled faintly and began to look at the stars. Shadow shivered and yawned. "Um, you can just.. Sit next to me if you need roo.." he said akwardly. Shadow smiled and cuddled next to him for warmth. "Thanks." she replied and fell asleep. (( This is the part where Jason realizes he has feelings for Shadow XP ))

Deak watched as Shadow made her way back by Jason. He started to drive and Jade was soon talking to him. "So, Wheres Zeak?" She asked. "He's, uh, gone." Deak said awkwardly. She sighed and gave him a hug. Deak's face turned red, but he took a deep breath before talking again. "Anyways, I'm glad your ok. I thought I would never see you again." He chuckled. "Your not getting rid of me that easily." Jade laughed and playfully pushed him. It was a few hours of silence before Deak decided to stop the car again. "Perfect." He smiled. "So you still remember this place?" Jade said, smirking as she looked up at the mansion. "How could I forget?" He said thinking of the many summers they spent here.

Shadow woke up and could barely see the sun rising, though she was well-rested. Jason woke up soon after and turned around to see a huge mansion surrounded by some other rich-looking houses and a small town ahead a few miles. He then looked down and smiled at Shadow. Shadow then got up and stretched out. She then jumped out of the back along with Jason and knocked on Deak's window. "Where are we? We arent very far from the last place. The others can easily come looking for-" Shadow stopped short when she remembered Jade was here. She didnt want Jade knowing zbout their reputation back at the city.

Deak opened the door. "How do you know? We're hours away. It'll be fine for now." He said and put the car in park before hopping out. JAde followed him out and clung to his arm in excitement. "Its been so long! Remember, this was where Zeak asked me out! Its also where we broke up, which is quite ironic if you ask me." She smiled. Deak panicked when she said that. He looked over to Shadow, prying she wouldn't freak out. "Uh, Jade.... Shadow and Zeak, uh, hooked up?" He said not knowing if that was the right term. "Oh, I'm sorry." She rubbed her neck embarrassingly. Jade suddenly recognized the name. "So your the famous Shadow Deak was totally obsessed with?" Jade asked. Deak elbowed her. "Dude. Not cool." He said with his face red.

Shadow frowned a bit when she found out she and Zeak went out. "Its fine." Shadow said, a bit of anger in her voice. Shadow only smiled slightly when she mentioned that Deak as obssesed with her. "Its cool, I already knew anyway. So thats me: Shadow, a.k.a Vigilannte. At your service." she joked as she bowed in front of Jade. Jason then raised an eyebrow. "So thats where you got your moves? If only Deak here told me earlier, I wouldve known." he said gestering to Deak, "Anyway Im Jason." he said to Jade with only a simple wave of the hand. "And if they do come looking for us, its your neck Im having." she whispred harshly to Deak. Shadow really didnt want to be caught again by Jake's evil team. Shadow then unsheathed her dagger. "Anyone want to help me clean the place out? Pretty sure there at least 10 in there. The two who dont come, take care of the truck andmake sure nothing happens." she ordered.

Deak rolled his eyes when Shadow threatened him. "I'll go." Deak offered as he started to walk towards to mansion. "I know it like the back of my hand." He said. Deak quickly opened the door, not even being careful about his surroundings. He grabbed his gun out of his backpack and motioned Shadow to follow him upstairs. Surprisingly there was only one. He shot it in the head. Deak looked around, and realized whose room he was in. It was Zeak's. Pictures of them together and some with just him and Jade. Deak went to the nightstand and picked up a journal. He gritted his teeth and threw the journal on the floor angrily. "Lets go tell the other they can come in." He growled and stomped out of the room.
What the journal said: Dear journal, Deak has really been obsessed with this bandit girl lately. I don't know what he likes about her that makes him this crazy about her, but whatever. I think she's pretty interesting myself. Maybe if I talk to her we could be friends or something more? Who knows. All I know is that Deak is never going to get a girl like her. He's better off with someone like Jade.

Shadow picked up the journel after Deak had stormed off. Before she could read she laughed, thinking it would be something stupid like. Dear Diary, Deak really smelled today. You could even see the pit stains! Shadow then began reading and actually found it intresting. So, Zeak had a crush on me, even before we met? She askes herself. Shadow then put the journel back on the nightstand. Shadow was then back outside, along with Deak and waved a hand to let the others know to come in. "Well that was fast." Jason said to himself. He then walked inside and it looked cool. "Wow, nice place Zeak had here.." he said. "Yup. So Im guessing he was with you on Christmas, Deak?" she asked turning her head towards him.

Deak crossed his arms. "Yeah. We just came back from here the night before everything happened." he looked at the ground. "We had a huge fight and decided to go home." He looked back up to Jade. "That was the last time I saw Jade until now." He said as she lowered her head. They had made a horrible mistake that almost cost their friendship.

Jason looked from Deak to Jade. "Mind me asking what happened?" he asked, his voice softening a bit. Shadow had decided to ditch the others when Deak started speaking. She didnt want to hear another sad story, there was already to many. Shadow wondered if having Jade here was safe. Deak knew the killer she was and Jason was just beginning to understand her own story. Having Jade here meant more people that were scared to cross her. She was glad she held in her anger when Deak had yelled at her though. That would have been a bloody mess. Shadow then went into the kitchen to find most of the food spoiled but some of it, magically saved. She found half a turkey inside the fridge along with mashed potatoes and cranberries. Shadow widened her eyes in excitment and walked back to the others. "I found something." she miled (( Shadow can tell you guys after Deak finishes his story with Jason or whatever ^^ And maybe Deak can also tell Jason later on about Shadow's murders? >.< ))

Deak sighed. "If you must know. it was the last day we were spending here for the year and Zeak was out side doing who knows what, which left me and Jade alone. And well, we kissed. I mean it was a year or two since they broke up." He paused. "But when he walked in he was angry as hell, and I thought he was going to beat the living daylight out of me, but he give gave me this disappointed look and walked out. I would rather him beat me up then see him look at me like that." Deak took in a deep breath. "And I hadn't seen Jade sine then until now." Deak said right as Shadow walked up.

Shadow lead the others into the kitchen and showed them the half eaten turkey and everything else in the fridge. "We finally have food! But I dont know if its spoiled or not." she stated. Shadow then pulled out the food and presented it on the table. "Guess we should try it out?" she suggested, smiling a bit.
