Deak sighed. "Did you ever come to think what she killed was even alive in the first place?" Deak said. "I mean, if she wanted to kill us, she would have already done it." He reassured her. "Besides, she has a reason not to kill us." Deak said looking over at Zeak.

"Nah, its ok. I understand." Zeak smiled at Shadow. "I was just.... a little worried. Thats all." He looked down to hide his red face. "I was just thinking about you, I mean not in THAT way! But like... I..." he paused, realizing how stupid he sounded. Zeak scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

Daisy sighed after hearing what Deak had to say. He WAS right after all, but then again what if he wasnt? What if hes wrong after all. Theres no evidence priving that the thing she killed was dead too. Daisy thought. "But what if it wasnt dead? Maybe just a different person trying to survive as well?" she questioned. "We should just ask Shadow a few questions, then Ill feel better if I think shes safe." Daisy said with a small smile, looking up at Deak. *+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Shadow rolled her eyes and got tired of Zeak talking. She then leaned in and gave Zeak a kiss on his cheek. "Happy now?" she laughed. Shadow then walked up to her room and threw herself on her bed. "Cant believe I did that o-o" she told herself. (( XD I JUST HAD TOO!))

Deak sighed. "Ok, ok. We'll ask her a few things." He smiled and motioned her into the bedroom Shadow had just went too. Unaware of what just happened, Deak hadn't said anything stupid yet. If he would have known, he would be teasing Zeak the rest of the night.

Zeak's eyes widened when Shadow kiss his cheek. His face even redder then before. After she left the room he smiled and let out a small laugh. "Yes!" He shouted, then cupped his hands over his mouth and laughed some more. "Yes!" He whispered.

(( AH YOU MADE ME SQUEAL EVEN MORE! XD) Shadow watched Daisy and Deak walk into her room. "Hey guys anything wrong?" she asked now sitting up in her bed. Shadow thought Daisy was a nice girl, though she did seem to have some problems with her but she was sure they werent big problems though. *+*+*+*+;+++*+*+*+*++*+*+*+*+*+*++* Daisy was glad Deak said yes on helping her interrogate Shadow. No interrogate sounds a bit to harsh. Its just questioning someone.. Daisy thought a bit more softly. "Um Shadow we just wanted to ask you a few questions.. If its alright with you.." she asked, now being scared to even tell Shadow about it. "What you guys think Im some crimminal?" Shadow asked in a joking tone. Though after asking that she put on a serious face and looked from Deak to Daisy. "Um uh no.. its just that.. Uh um.. Deak?" she whimpered and hid behind him cowering. (( I think the "Interrogation" would be more intresting if it more than just asking questions. Maybe like a real interrogation?)) (( Also Im still deciding who to kill off. Shadows death would be more devestating, but on the other hand I kid of want her to live! DX))

((Sorry >.< And I don't think I would be as exciting without romance ^.^ so I honestly would like Shadow to stay, But its your choice.))
Deak looked at Shadow. "Daisy doesn't feel completely save with you around, regarding your past." He hesitated. "I think your cool, and you know that... But her parents probably said things about you that scared her." Deak suggested. He sighed, thinking she would take it the wrong way. He looked down at the little girl whimpering behind him.

Zeak decided to see why every one was gathered in Shadow's room. He noticed the atmosphere was very unsettling. "Whats going on?" He leaned against the wall. Zeak looked from Deak and the shuddering Daisy to Shadow. He had an idea of what was going on. "This isn't about Shadow's past is it? Come on, that was all before this happened. Just forget about it." Zeak hissed as he directed it towards Daisy.

Shadow felt her temper rising a bit and clenched her fists. She then stood up from her bed and tried her best not to blow up like the volcano she was. "Her parents? Who were they? The Andersons? They should be grateful! You may not know this, Daisy but I saved you once! Some guys was about to shove a knife into you until I came! Hell, I even took the pain for you!" she shouted as she pointed a finger at Daisy. She then remembered the pain she felt from the knife being cut into her arm that day. Shadow tried her best to calm herself down but Daisy was already about to break down crying. *+*+*+*+*+*++*+*+*+*+*++*+*+*+*+*+*+ Daisy was astonished and scared at the same time. Nobody had ever yelled at her like that before. She whimpered and couldnt help a tear from falling down her face. "Dont talk about my parents like that." she said in a hushed tone. Shadow sighed and all her anger melted away, she now realized she hurt Daisy. "Ok ok, If it'll make you guys feel better Ill do it.." she said looking at all of them.

Zeak sighed. "You know you don't have to." He reminded Shadow after giving Deak a scowl. Deak shrugged as if he didn't do anything. "Where all going to have to get along wether we like it or not." Zeak stated. "Well you and Shadow seem to be getting along just fine don't you think?!" Deak argued. "Its Daisy I'm worried about!" Deak continued. "Well why don't you go babysit little Daisy somewhere else!" Zeak raised his voice. Deak gritted his teeth punched the wall. "I hate you!" He stormed out. Zeak gave himself a facepalm. "God damn it. Not again."

Shadow glanced up at Zeak before the fighting began. "Nah its fine Zeak, besides Id hate making you guys uncomfortable with me around." she said calmly. Just then the argueing began. Daisy looked at Zeak as he told Deak to go babysit her. She was hurt and decided to follow Deak slowly out the room. Is that what they think of me? That Im just some little kid who cant take care of herself? She thought bitterly. Daisy sighed and thought she shouldnt be thinking that. She knew hey would get over it in no time. "Um Deak you ok?.." she asked him once she saw Deak *+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+* Shadow watched as Deak stormed out and looked at Zeak. "What the hell was that? Come on Zeak you know how Daisy is! She lost everything s'not like she can do much for herself." she raised her voice at Zeak. She then thought about what she jyst said. She lost everything, not like she can do much for herself. Shadow lost everything too, but she just shook the thought away. "*sigh* Ill be upstairs." she said not even looking at him, just at the ground. "Call me when you guys are ready for the questions." she told him and ran upstairs. Shadow went to the room where her friends was killed and feel on her knees staring at the corpse. She looked at the dagger she killed her friend with and a single tear dripped down her face. "Im so sorry Mary.." she whispered and just stayed there on her knees watching her.

((Sorry, for the small amount of time I'm aloud on today this post might be short...))
Deak sighed and slid down the wall until he was sitting. "I don't know... I'm sorry you had to see me blow up like that." He tucked his knees to his chest. "And Zeak was just being a jerk. I don't think of you as a worthless little kid. Your pretty cool." He forced a small smile.

Zeak sighed and walked up stairs to where Shadow was. "Look, I didn't mean to yell at them, I just..." He paused when he realized she was crying, next to that girl from earlier. He kneeled down next to her. "Hey, if this means anything to you, I think she would be happy you did what you did." He patted her back. "She probably didn't wan't to leave this world as one of them." Zeak tried to comfort her. He took her hand. "Me and Deak, and probably soon Daisy, are all there for you. Kinda like a family." He smiled.
((Oh god, to think Zeak is going to... die... makes me want to cry! >.<))

Shadow jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Before turning she grabbed her matchete and nearly stabbed Zeak square in the shoulder. Shadow gasped and put her weapon down and stood up. "God are you okay? I nearly killed you!". Shadow then looked down at Mary and sighed. "And thanks but I know you guys are not really my family. Family has turned their back on me. Family isnt there when i need them. Family doesnt walk out on you when you need them the most after you've been brutally beaten at the age of 8!" she hissed. Shadow found herself rising her voice at Zeak yet it wasnt even his fault. "God Im sorry Zeak.. I dont know what happened.." she said softly. ///////////////////////// Daisy gave Deak a weak smile and hugged him. "Its all fine. People get mad from time to time.." she said in a kind voice. "But people should always apoligize afterwards. Besides we need to do Shadows interro- I mean questioning." she corrected herself akwardly. Daisy then got up and dusted off her clothes and held out her hand as she waited for Deak.
(( I wanna get to the Interrogation already! XD Idk why but I have a feeling it would b fun.))

Zeak let out a small smile. "No, we may not be your real family, but we're your new one." He smiled and embraced her with a big hug. "Theres no need to apologize." he snuggled his face between her shoulder and neck. He smiled and blushed, but a good blush. He was in love.

Deak smiled and pulled Daisy back down to hug her once again. "Happy as can be!" He laughed and set his chin on the top of her head. "Your the best kid in the world!" He smiled and held her away. "Now lets go do that questioning your so eager to do." Deak smiled and stood up.

Shadows eyes grew wide as Zeak embraced her. Does someone really love me? Is that even possible? Yes, Zeak does; and I love him too. Shadow thought happily. She then wrapped her own arms around him. "I love you." she whispered. *+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+***+* Daisy smiled warmly as Deak hugged her. She really did feel loved. "Ok then, lets go." she said and started to walk upstairs.

Zeak smiled. "I love you too." He whispered back. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against Shadow's. He really truly loved her, and it was something he wouldn't let die. He wanted to protect her and love her always. And thats just what I'll do. Zeak thought to himself.

Deak followed Daisy as she walked up the stairs. As the room came in sight deak stop dead in his tracks and cupped his mouth with his hand. He looked down at Daisy and began to smile. "Finally!" he whispered in excitement.

Shadow blushed even more when Zeak kissed her back. Well life is good now, the Apocalypse might have started but who cares. Better to be in love with zombies surrounding you that to never have loved at all right?-- Daisy giggled a by to loudly and she saw Shadow open her eyes wide and blush until her entire face was red.
