"Sorry for scaring you" Nicolas sighed whistling watching the White horse trot over to greet him. He held out his right hand patting the white stallion's nose before glancing over at the black one in the pen. "It sounds good but i'm not one to judge. You don't have to name him right now. After a while a name will radomly come to you" He smiled warmly before leaning forward kissing the white stallions nose. "You know...I promised you something and if you want we can take that trip tonight" He said holding out the grey horses reigns "Her name is Tinkerbell. Sorry for the lack of horses. Dad took a few to a show so it's really her, Star here, and a stallion in the stalls that isn't quite ready for a new beginner to ride" he frowned not really wanting to see Michael to get hurt more than he was. "I'm not sure you can control a troubled horse such as Ginger so Tink here was a good choice. She's my sister's mare. Quite tame and is a good listener" He laughed lightly. "Again sorry" he apologized felling a little bad. OOC:// Should they have a tent? Or no?

(They should. :D)
Michael nodded lightly, looking back at the black stallion one last time before he slowly climbed onto Tinkerbell's back, mostly moving that slow because of his wounds. Once he was up there he grinned. "I've been waiting for that trip for what feels like forever," he stated, moving to rub the dappled grey mare's neck. Then he looked over at Nicolas, giving him a warm smile.

Nicolas smiled and hopped onto Star pulling back his reigns and letting him back up. "Okay then why don't we get started. I hope you don't mind sharing a tent. We have one plus its not good to seperate people out there. There are still...dogs packs on our land" he frowned turning around his horse to face the distant hills. "Do you know how to ride?" Nick asked making his horse walk forward beside Michael. He reached over grabbing a part of the saddle on Tinkerbell and tightened it just a little bit before straightening up on his own horse. "It's sort of like ridding a bike. Once you get used to it, you won't ever forget it" he smiled warmly listenin to Star snort out of anticipation. This caused Nick to laugh and lean forward to pat his neck. "Don't worry boy, we are going."

Michael rolled his eyes. "Just because I haven't been on a horse doesn't mean I came out here without knowing what to do," he said in mock offense before getting Tinkerbell going. He had been looking forward to this for ages, and was inpatiently waitinvmg for when they could get going. He couldn't wait to be under the stars...

Ooc:// Yep! Bic:// It had been a few hours of ridding before Nicolas slowed his horse at the top of a large hill, over looking a meadow. Night was beginning to set as the sun slowly made its way to the horizon. "I under estimated you" Nick laughed lighlty climbing off Star and letting him graze while he slipped the tent off Star's back. "I'll set up the tent if you want to enjoy the scenery" he grinned softly already setting the rods out. "The horse herd will come out at a little later. They seem to graze at night. Raiden will lead them out" he smiled softly at the thought of the large black stallion his father never was able to catch.

Michael laughed, slowing Tinkerbell to a stop after he had let her trot for a bit, allowing her to cool off a bit before he had to dismount, giving the other male a proud grin. "And they say you can't learn anything from television. I beg to differ," he said, slipping his hands into the pockets of his jeans before he looked up at the sky, his smile softening. "You know, before I came out here, I've never seen the stars. It's too bright all the time in the city I'm from," he murmured softly, tilting his head in a fond manner. "They're...kinda mesmerizing..." he said softly before he turned to look at Nick again. "So. When are we setting up the tent?"

"Now?" Nick asked tossing him one of the pegs befoe rolling out the dark green tent. He brought his hand up to his black hair before sighing lightly staring down at the ob ject in front of him. Tent's wernt his favorite buisness but it had to be done in order to actually spend the night out here. "You said you learned everything from television? Impressive" he said softly taking a breif moment to look up at the sky. "You'll have all night to enjoy the stars and hell, All year. You can see them from the farm as well. We don't like bright lights at night. It draws in the wild animals" he replied thinking about his little place on the roof back at home. "At night back at the ranch, Every night i'll climb out onto the roof and just sit and watch the stars for a while. Just think for a while and get away from life and troubles. It's soothing and helps a lot." He explained starting to place the rods together. Ooc:// That sucked. >.<

"Including how to pitch a tent," he joked lightly as he moved over, starting to take over setting up the tent, a fond, distant look in his mint green eyes. "I may not have ever been on a farm before, but I've been camping plenty of times with my dad. I always helped pitch the tent because I figured I could use it later on in life. Like now," he said, looking up at Nicolas with a small smile. "Dad's been too busy to go camping for the past few years, though, so it's been a bit of a downer. That was something I looked forward to every year around this time." ((...I post longer posts while on the computer. XD))

Ooc:// Their fine. ^.^ I'm a little distracted tonight plus bored. Bic:// Nicolas gave a nervous laugh before backing up and watching Michael. "I normally help my dad pitch the tents every time we come out here to watch the herd, but I guess I awlways found things to distract my attention than actually help" he explained as a frown fell upon his face. "I should really apologize to him" he said out loud mainly thinking to himself. "You pobably are innerly laughing at me. A country boy who doesn't really particularly know how to set up a tent, well this boy knows a lot more important stuff than a tent" he shrugged trying to help so Michael didn't have to do all the work. "So what did you exactly do in the city? Like hobbies and those types of things?" he asked curiously.

Michael rolled his eyes. "I'm a city boy who hates the city," he stated, looking back at Nicolas with an amused look on his face. "And I'm not too fond of fast food, either," he chuckled, grinning as he worked on the tent, humming lightly. When Nicky asked about his hobbies, he shrugged as he worked. "Ah, a little guitar, I attempted singing...tried to draw and write and neither really worked out for me." He paused a moment, then smiled. "Oh, and a couple years back we had this dog named Nira, who we'd had since I was born. She was an old dog, but she was healthy and still going strong. I'd take her on a walk every day at exactly five because that's when her favorite little doggy-buddies came out to play." he said with a fond sigh.

Nicolas couldn't help but to be drawn to every word Michael said. For some reason he found him extremly fascinating. The boy hates the city but that's where he lives, he gets trampled on by a horse yet is not afraid of it afterwards, wants to work even when he's physically disabled. Something about him made Nick want to make him continue to talking to get to know him better. He smiled sitting on the gra.ss behind Michael. "Nira is a pretty name." Nick frowned innerly at the words he just spoke. 'Seriously? That's all you can say after that heart felt story?' He thought bitting his bottom lip. "We have dogs around the farm but i'm not allowed to get close to them. In fact my father advised me not to get close to anything. He sells a lot of the animals even when I beg him not to." Nicolas sighed lightly plucking the gra.ss in front of him. "Like there was a barn cat that I grew attatched to. I named him Malikai. One day I came home from school and father told me he caught Malikai and took him to where he would be more appriciated and not kill our chickens. Only to find out that he set the dog out on Malikai and blamed him for something a fox did" he frowned at the thought, digging his teeth into his lip. "That was a really bad story, i'm sorry. I guess the moral is...don't get attached to anything out here. It's all to change in due time."

Michael paused for a moment as he listened to Nicolas tsalk, shaking his head as he looked back at him. "Everything changes in due time, Nick. Does that mean we shouldn't get attached to anything?" he questioned, a soft smile on his face. "Nira was hit by a car on one of our walks, and yes, it broke my heart, but sometimes you have to let the things you love most go," he told the other, turning around once he finished with the tent. He settled himself upon the ground, a slightly sad smile on his face. "If you let change keep you from getting close to anything, then what's the point of going outside every day?" You see, Michael has a unique way of seeing the world, thinking like an individual rather than just a part of a bigger picture. He was an individualist, one of a kind, and proud to admit it, too. Yeah, he was stubborn like half the population, but he was stubborn for different reason. "If you really love something, you should be able to let it go when the time comes." ((Yeah. I'm all deep. <3))

Ooc:// You know...lol. When I think of what he said, I think of them when they actually do get together the whole "If you love me, you have to let me go" type thing. Bic:// Nicolas listened to him and glanced up at the sky as Michael spoke. He did have a very good point there and he had to admit it. "I'm sorry to hear about Nira" Nick said rather softly before focusing his blue gaze on Michael. "You make a good point Sir" he nodded before laying back and just staring at the sky. "The point of going outside every day is called living. You have to live even though our life may be like some mindless robot doing the same tasks every day. Knowing others depend on you...but that really isn't fair. They use your own hard work for easy money. It sucks" Nicolas admitted before thinking of a question. "But I have to raise you a question though..." he dronned. "Why get attached to something or someone when you know that later down the road it's just going to cause you pain and suffering? Why not just go without that so called love to protect yourself from the torture later?" He asked letting his head roll to the side so he could look at Michael. "And...what if your to stubburn to let your love go?" He asked with a slight smirk. "There's this freaky lady in town who has her dog stuffed because she never wanted to let it go...what do you say about those people?" he asked curiously. (( woooow. What the hell does Michael see in Nick? lol ))

Michael lay down as well, crossing his arms behind his head with s soft sigh. "The point of getting attached is so that you have an actual reason to live. Then he thought for a minute before pouting over at Nick, a slightly hurt look in his eyes. "If you're against getting attached to things or people, then that means you shouldn't want to get attached to me, either," he said softly, sitting up to look over at the other, mint green eyes focused on Nicky. For some reason, that statement had cut pretty deep. ((Nick's a unique person, just like Mikey. :D))

Ooc:// Awww! Michael's question hurt me. lol. Bic:// Nicolas had a confused look when Michael responded back. He studied the boy's features before his own softened as he sat up on his elbows. "That's not what I was implying, Michael" Nick frowned balling his fists pushing himself up to a sitting position. "But if you really want to think of it as a logical factor...you arn't staying forever either. There will be a time where you have to go back to your so hated city and I'm here stuck. So yes again I don't want to get attached but what the hell. How could I not get attached to someone as stubburn and persistant as you?" He asked letting out a breath focusing his blue eyes on Michael watching his reaction. The lat thing he wanted to do was upset him but it was true, all of it.

((Yeah. P: Lol. Michael has logic. And I might go to sleep soon. XD; Find a place downstairs, lol.)) Michael snorted softly, shaking his head as it rested it on his knees. He closed his eyes, letting out a soft hum. "Who said I had to go back?" he asked, mint green moving to focus onto blue. "I don't want to go back, save for a few visits to my mom and dad." He straightened up at Nicolas's next statement/question, the brunette giving the darker-haired boy a small smile. "Heh. My attitude finally got a positive reaction outta somebody. Most people seem to frown upon individuality, wanting everyone to be the same." He tilted his head before looking back up at the sky, a thoughtful, faraway look on his face. Wait. What about the horse herd? They came out here to watch it...but they were having this deep, emotionally involving conversation instead.

Ooc:// That's fine with me. ^.^ Don't let me keep you up. Bic:// Nicolas let out a breath or a half laugh so he called it. "Individuality is an amazing thing. Conformative thinking and having to follow in the footsteps of others is stupid and reminds me of Hitler although I am the biggest hypocrite in the world" Nicolas frowned with a slight shrug. "I follow in my father's footsteps because that's all that's here for me and if you stay...that's all that will be here for you t--" he quickly cut his sentence off before glancing behind him over at the feild noticing a familiar black figure making it's way threw the dark followed by a multitude of colors. "Michael!" Nicolas whisper/yelled. Without thinking he reached out and grabbed Michael's hand attempting to drag him across the gra.ss towards the wild horses that were making their way into the feild. "They're here" he said softly as his blue eyes softened watching the muscular blue male stampeed towards the awaiting green feild. Nick pressed his body against the gra.ss not thinking anything of still holding Michael's hand. His mind was to focused on the beautiful horse in the lead and slowly glancing down the line of wild horses following him.

Michael blinked when Nicolas cut off his sentence, turning his head to ask why when the other suddenly had a hold of his hand, pulling him off towards somewhere else to watch the horses, his gaze drawn automatically to the leader. He was a rather handsome-looking horse, but Michael really did prefer Chase back at the ranch/farm. He didn't even notice they were still holding hands either, the city-boy even moving a little closer as he began to get cold. Being from the city, and growing up with heaters all the time. cold wasn't a thing he was used to, so he was rather sensitive to it. ((And remember, he's been in his room in the house up until now. |D Oh! What if Chase is like....Raiden's son? oUo))

Ooc:// Aww. That's a good idea. <3 And poor Michael. All cold. Okay ignore the 'blue male' part in my last post. lol. I JUST now seen that mistake. I meant to type 'black' -_-' Blue horses...psh. Bic:// "It's rare you see them and it's quite sad to know that half of those horses will be sold to farms out of the country and stuff just because of my father, but we do have a respect for them still" Nicolas whispered keeping his eyes hard on Raiden in the lead. He watched the horse stop just a few feet from them, not reconizing the foriegn figures on the ground. He stood tall watching the rest of the herd graze. Nick turned his head to say something to Michael but found that he had scooted closer to him. With a slight frown he released Michael's hand, that he just now realized he was holding, and wrapped his arm around the boy's shoulders making sure to stay low so he didn't spook Raiden. With an extremly low whisper Nicolas addressed Michael. "It only gets colder out here so please don't hesitate to get warm somehow. I don't need you freezing on me" he gave a slight smirk turning his blue eyes back on the black horse not to far from him. "This is as close as i've ever been to him. If only there was a way to actually touch him yet alone...tame him" Nicolas sighed his eyes softenin at the thought of never taming such a wild creature. This was one of those times where he had no choice but to put himself down. His father had tried for months to get him that horse but somehow he was always outsmarted by this horse.
