Kentaro looked down at Chase as she squinted through the surroundings. He waited there until she saw the house she was looking for. He searched for the same house and finally managed to spot it through the tree trunks.
"Ah, I see. Well then, looks like I've got a little ways to go before youre safe." He nodded slightly and held the girl closer before he started walking toward the plantation style house. He humphed and shrugged. She was pretty secluded, which started to worry him. But he didn't really care much since he had been assigned to watch her. It was weird that thehigher ups even wanted to watch humans.
As they neared the house, Kentaro felt something sting at his back. He whipped his head to teh side and looked sidelong at teh horizon. The sun was rising and he would need to get out of there unless he wnated the obsidian to start gleaming and burning at his skin. He whined or purred, whatever the human ear could hear and darted toward the house. "I apologizefor running suddenly, but the sun..." He continued running until he came to the front of teh house.
He skid to a stop and looked at her. He was unsure as to whether he should put her down or take her inside. "Do I let you down?" He felt the burning grow more intense and he hissed to himself. The obsidian around his neck started doing its job and glowed a bit, giving off a faint blue glow.

Chaston kept her eyes on the house mainly, but she let her vision dart to Kentaro every now and then. She didn't want him to catch her staring. She was honestly captivated by his eyes. Red like hers, but it was painfully obvious that he wasn't albino. It was an interesting predicament- one that she couldn't get over.
She was quiet as he walked towards the house, feeling the full effect of all of the running taking its toll on her body. She was aching all over, but she would be able to walk. She would go inside, bandage her feet, and go back to sleep- then go to town in the morning to run errands as she normally did.
Maybe she would spot this man in town. She doubted it, though, seeing as how she hadn't seen him before, as far as she knew.
Another purr caught her attention, and she let her eyes dart to a glowing necklace at the base of Kentaro's neck. A glowing necklace? She dismissed it as a hallucination caused by tiredness and exhaustion. Necklaces didn't glow, normally, and if they did, they were some sort of expensive stuff.
"You can just let me down here. My feet don't feel too bad anymore. They're kinda numb," she said, keeping her voice down, not wanting to wake her parents. She wiggled a bit in his arms, signalling for him to let her go, pulling his coat tighter around herself. She honestly didn't want to have to give the warm thing up. It smelled nice, and it was warm, and soft.
She looked over to her bedroom window which was on the second floor, only to find the face of a huge grey-colored irish wolfhound staring down though the glass panels at her and Kentaro. "Oh god please don't start barking..." Her eyes got wide.
The dog simply turned around and disappeared from her view.

Kentaro nodded at her rquest and even more so when she started to wiggle around in his arms. It felt odd and looked even weirder to him. It was funny in a way too, but he wouldn't let that be voiced. He noticed a grey irish wolfhound staring at them from a bedroom window and he placed the girl down, hearing a small plea escape her lips to the dog, who seemed to noticed her distress and not start barking. He couldn't really tell if she needed his coat, but maybe she'd use it to keep herself warm in another night run.
"Keep the coat. I gotta get out of here. I'll get the coat another time, maybe. I don't know. But don't do anything stupid." He gave her a short bow and turned on his heel before darting off towards the town, needing to get away from the burning rays of teh sun. The glow from his necklace became stronger and brighter, showing that he had very lkittle time to get into a shadow. He continued to run until he spotted a barn, which he promplty ran into the hid in teh horse hay on teh second floor. He would stay there until teh night came back or at least until the sun had set.
"Great... another thing I'm going to have to deal with here. The sun..." He hissed under his breath and caught a whiff of someone's freshly slaughtered cow. He licked his lips and fangs. Yes, Fangs. He backed into the hay even more, needing another scent to take over bfore he went out and attacked an animal for its blood. His breathing was labored but he managed to close his eyes and fall into a light sleep.
((Okay, if she goes to town, she can see Traine and mistake him for Kentaro. Since they are twins.))

Chaston hugged onto the coat as Kentaro said that she could keep it. She was glad that she could keep it, but didn't he want it? He had to be cold, didn't he? It was really cold out, for goodness' sake! But before she could ob
ject, he said that he would get the coat another time, bowed, and promptly left.
Would they meet again? She didn't know. It was an odd thought, but she hoped that they would. He had saved her, and she acknowledged that. She doubted she would ever forget him.
Seeing as how it was morning, and how Chaston didn't want to mess her sleeping schedule up, she settled for sneaking into the house, being greeted by her very independent, yet loyal hound. It was easily larger than her in terms of body mass, and, with his head up and attentively looking at her, the top of his skull was even with the middle of her upper arm.
"Hey, Fenrir," she said, petting the dog's head as he sniffed her injured feet.
Leaving her dog and limping up the stairs to her bedroom, taking a shower, and redressing. Today was an off-day from school, so she told her parents she was going into town. It had warmed up substantially, but it was still cold. She had left Kentaro's coat on a chair next to her bed, right against the window.
She got onto her motorbike, and rode into the small town's downtown area, watching as what few teenagers that were in the town trickle in and out of local stores and cafes.

He sat outside a cafe, watching as a few of his friends were going in and out of the shops. He didn't really have an interest in being outside, but when they invite him, he can't really say no. He sighed and picked up his coco cup, bringing it to his lips and slowly sipped it. The waitress hadn't charged him for it, which he was grateful for. He didn't even want to be out here. He placed it down with a small clink and looked as a girl friend of his approached. She stopped in front of him with a smile on her face. She wanted something. He could feel it.
"So, you know how I've been trying to get you to wear that hat? The one with the ears?" His eyebrow arched slightly, feigning like he didn't know what she was talking about. He knew the hat. The one iwth the cat ears on top. She has given it to him last year and he never wore it. His amber eyes went up to her purple ones. "Yes.."
She smiled and pulled out another bag and held it up to him. "This one's a panda. Wear it or I'll get Ryu to beat you up." She was kidding, but he knew Ryu would literally beat him up. He took the bag and looked in. Yup. A panda hat. He sighed and pulled it out. He set the panda hat back in after looking it over. "I'm not wearing it right now. It needs to be cleaned. Who knows how many people have put this on their heads." He shuddered a bit. No he was no a germaphobe.
"Fine." She gave a pout and then looked over at Ryu. "But you better Traine. I will not accept this again. I let you get away with it with the cat. But not this one." Traine sighed and nodded a little, which made her perk up and run back over to her boyfriend.

She had been driving on her motorbike for a while, just enjoying the breeze through her white hair. Though, she wore a helmet that had a lens that was shaded, as to protect her eyes from the sun. She wore dark clothes, but they weren't Gothic or anything. She simply changed her style to fit daily life.
Chaston turned her head to look over at a table outside a cafe, and she nearly lost her balance on her bike. It was Kentaro! He had the same hair, same face, and everything! The only thing that she could tell that was different was his eye color, which was a rich amber instead of the red that mirrored her own eyes.
She swiftly turned her bike in his direction, and parked it in an appropriate place in front of the cafe, taking off her helmet, shaking her hair free, and placing it on the seat of her bike. It was unlikely that anyone around there would steal it. After all, it was a small town.
She moved over to who she thought was Kentaro quickly, stopping in front of his table. "So, we meet again?" She offered him a smile, still not noticing his different eye color. Her eyes were still adjusting to not staring into the sun, as she had been before on her bike.

Traine looked up at the girl who decided to stand right in front of him. Kind of rude, but no matter. He studied her face and then her outfit. Dark. He wished he had darker clothes, but no. His parents didn't want him looking like an emo kid. He blocked his eyes from the sun as he continued to study her face. It clicked that he didn't even know this girl! She was probably from out near the woods. Or something similiar. He realized her hair and then her eyes, giving it away that she was albino. He didn't know any albino people.
"We meet again? I apologize, but I'm afraid I don't know who you are. Maybe if you refresh my memory if it was a recent time?" He blinked from staring at her too long. Her white hair reflecting the sun's light. He was soothed by the darkness of his lids for a little. He looked back up at her and gave a small smile. "However, quite honestly I don't think I've ever met you."

Chaston was expecting this man to grin and agree with her that they'd met yet again. But instead, he just looked at her for a moment and then questioned her, apologizing afterwards. He was tricking her, wasn't he? She wasn't sure if Kentaro would be one to trick her, after toting her through the woods like a wet sack of potatoes, but anything could happen, right?
As he just stared at her, Chaston's eyes adjusted, and she noticed the golden hue in his eyes, in place of the red.
Oh no. She'd just walked up to this person, thinking he was someone else, and he had no clue who she was, which was a shame, because he was quite attractive. Plus, she knew most of the teenagers in this town, given that there was only one local school.
Her cheeks turned a vibrant pink, and she bit her lip, acquiring a shy disposition. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I thought you were someone else." She rubbed her arms, her legs fidgeting nervously. "But you look just like this person I just met..." Her curiosity took over again, and she stared him straight in the eyes, moving so that Traine wouldn't have to look into the sun to see her.

Traine tilted his head to the side a bit and stood up, wanting to be able to fully look at her and size her up. He was sure he never met her. He was positive actually. He would know if he met her. When she started to apologize, he chuckled a little. She didn't know him. It kind of relieved him because he always feels bad when he couldn't remember people.
"No problem, lovely. I've been mistaken for someone before. It's bugging me a bit that people say there is someone who looks just like me but his eyes are red and wears a long black coat. I would really like to see this person." He shook his head and stretched himself out before he laid a bill on the table. "I'm Traine." He said coolly. Maybe it's be less awkward if she really knew who he was.
Ryu walked over and looked at Traine. "Yo, Traine. We're all heading home now. And we wanted to know if you wanted to come chill and watch a few movies. Or, you could go chill with this new chic." He said with a hint of tease in it. |

Chaston was a bit relieved that this man didn't seem to have an issue with her mistaking him for someone else, but she now felt short, as Traine stood several inches taller than her when he raised from his seat. The color in her cheeks began to fade slightly, but when he called her 'lovely', she couldn't help but blush again, but it wasn't too noticeable, lucky for her.
She felt a chill go down her spine as Traine described Kentaro- down to the red eyes and black coat. Chill bumps rose on her arms as he said that he would like to see that person- the person being Kentaro. This was just eerie...
The resemblance between the two boys was eerie, also.
She listened to him say his name. Traine... It was an unusual name, but it wasn't like Chaston was all that common, either, so she wasn't one to over-think it.
She was about to say her name also, but a new person spoke before she had the opportunity to do so, saying something about leaving and going to watch movies. And then the boy referred to her as a new 'chick'.
Now, Chaston wasn't one to get affected by name-calling, but she had a severe hatred for the word 'chick'. That was, unless you were very close with her. Then it was okay to call her that, but she still preferred any other feminine pronoun.
She cleared her throat and spoke her name, not giving others a chance to interrupt again, not caring if this newcomer- the one that wasn't Traine- listened to her introduction or not.
"My name is Chaston, and I might be able to arrange a meeting between you and your doppelganger," she said to Traine, but looked at Ryu through the corner of her eye.

Traine first turned toward Ryu, who so rudely interrupted them while they were talking. He gave the older man a glare that could scare any hardened man. "Go away. You rudely interrupted our conversation and I don't feel like getting my hands dirty to make you apologize." His voice was dripping so much venom you could almost see it. His amber eyes were darkened to almost brown with the glare.
Ryu gave a little shudder and backed away with his hand up in a 'I surrender' gesture. "Hey man, no need to give me that famous glare of your's. we'll just catch you later." Ryu turned on his heel and headed back to the group, who were all a little frightened by Traine when he was glaring at people.
Trane sighed and turned back to the girl. "Chaston. Lovely name." He gave her a smile and his ex
pression brightened. His eyes were back to amber and he was smiling, obviously. "So, Chaston, how and when did you meet this doppelgänger of mine when I haven't even seen him." He looked at her and pulled his coat on. Black with fur on the hood and cuffs. "Wanna head somewhere to talk?"

Chaston was a bit frightened herself by Traine's glare. It darkened his eyes, and made him look menacing. She bit her lip and listened to the venom in his voice. If he had been a snake, Chaston would have guessed that this would be the equivalent of him biting the other man. All because he'd interrupted. She didn't mind it, though. Sometimes it took a real fright to make someone stop interrupting.
She turned her eyes from Traine's darkened ones to look at the man that he'd been glaring at, blinking several times with her large, crimson eyes, her white lashes casting shadows on her cheeks for a few moments as the sky darkened with signs of a storm. Once the sun was fully blocked out within a few seconds, the shadows disappeared, and Ryu had backed away.
"Oh, thankyou, but you can just call me Chase," she said in response to Traine, finally turning back to look at him, noting that his ex
pression had brightened to normal again. She offered him a small smile in return, and scratched her head at the question he spoke- the one about his doppelganger.
"Well, it's a long story as to how I met him, really." She scratched the back of her neck shyly, biting her lip. "And where would we go to talk? Looks like it'll storm soon."

The storm clouds hid his enemy and the rain would wash away the evidence of his recent meal. His eyes were bright ruby red and seemed to glow in the low light. The farmer he had scared away had left in such a rush that the poor cow had been laying there, helpless with its legs tied up for slaughter. He decided the thing could help him with his hunger. He licked his lips, the blood that dripped down his chin continued, now broken from the source.
He let out a small purr in satisfaction. He was full and the sun was gone. He smiled to himself and wiped the remaining blood from his chin before he looked at the already withering cow. "Poor thing. You could sense me in the barn, couldn't you? But your farmer never listened until now. The look on his face! Priceless!" He gave a laugh and licked his fangs clean.
"Guess I should head to town. Higher ups and their damn liking for the chocolate that humans make so well." He hissed under his breathe before walking toward the town, his hand shoved into his pockets and he tried to change his eye color to at least blend in a bit. Fangs were a dead give away but whatever. Eye color wasn't changing to he was stuck with ruby reds.

Traine smiled at her. "Hmm, well I live a couple blocks down if you'd prefer a house where we won't be interrupted again. Or there are a few nice little cafés we could head to." He shrugged and noticed her bike, it looked pretty sleek and he couldn't help himself but to rush over and gently run his hand over the seat and the handles. "I've gotta get myself one of these. I mean, I've wanted one that is."
Traine stopped touching the bike, realizing that he shouldn't be touching what wasn't his. But the bike. He smiled to himself and then felt something tug at him. His body wanted to walk toward the entrance to town, like something was calling him there. He didn't know what it was, but it was drawing him.
He looked towards then entrance then back at Chase. "Chase... Let's head inside somewhere. I don't really like the rain and I'm not prepared for the rain anyways. I mean, my coat is warm but not meant for rain." He shoved his hands into his jacket pockets.

Chase looked at Traine, mentally shooting down the idea of going to his house. She wasn't about to go to someone's house that she just met. Especially a guy. This was a small town, and though she doubted that anyone here was a mass murderer, she was not about to take a chance at allowing a movie occur in real life.
A cafe sounded much better. And much more safe. She'd nearly died earlier on in the day, after all. Being stuck in the woods and all.
She turned as he moved towards her bike, touching the seat tenderly as if he wished to have it. It seemed that he wanted one. She would have to tell her uncle- her adoptive father's brother- that. He actually had one up for sale. Sure, it needed a bit of work, but it was cheap, and ran quite well.
"Yeah. There's a little cafe up here that's got a good atmosphere. Follow me," she said, motioning for him to follow, beginning to head off towards the direction of the store as rain began to flow down from the sky. No lightning flashed, but thunder rumbled faintly in the distance.

Traine nodded. "Alright then." Traine started following her and felt a drop of rain hit his hair and seep down to his scalp. He shivered at how cold it was. He pulled the hood to his jacket up and whined when he felt more rain. He hated rain! With a burning passion, much like a child and vegetables. He pulled the jacket closer and continued to follow her,
