Chaston was surprised as Kentaro revealed his fear to her. She was curious, and quite distracted by how he floated around so easily. She wished that she could do that. It looked like fun. She was almost jealous, but she remembered that vampires had to have blood, and she didn't like seeing blood, really. It reminded her of the past too much.
"Okay." She just said that to the both of them, unable to think of much else to reply.
After a few more minutes, the storm faded to only rain. Chaston wasn't bothered by rain. It seemed that she only saw rain as blood when it began to storm. She wasn't sure why that was so.
She hesitantly took off Kentaro's headphones half-way through a beautiful piano song. No more thunder was sounding, and she was grateful for that.
She held out the headphones for Kentaro to take, still enjoying the feel of his hand in her hair.
She stopped for a moment, realizing what she could say to Kentaro's confession of fear.
"I don't think you'll lose yourself. Sure, you get a bit distracted, but you're too strong to lose yourself, Kentaro." She didn't really know him all that well, but she knew that he was powerful.
