Leo caught her arm before it could reach his body. He realized her slowed movement and watched her eye start to loose focus. "Don't make me do more damage than needs to be done Lucia. You might as well stop and give in before you pass out." He tried again to reason with her even though he knew it was no use. He really didn't like having to hurt her. She was of one of them, an as.sas.sin, and it felt wrong to be attacking her for real and not for sparring.

Lucia blinked a few times, wiggling her arm in Leo's grasp. It hurt so bad to even move it, she thought she would scream, but she didn't. Her lungs gasped for air, and she, as a final resolve, swung her left arm at Leo with reduced speed, trying to move her legs, but she couldn't. However, before her left arm could even reach Leo, she sort of gave up.
She was far from the Institution, so she could escape later, couldn't she? She wasn't sure. Would Leo tie her up?
Her vision went all blurry, and she fell forward into Leo, her left arm flopping to her side, her limbs limp. She was dead weight, though she wasn't heavy.

Leo staggered back as she fell against him. "Same stubborn attitude." He murmured. The boy then bent down and picked her up by her waist. Setting her on the the bed, he pulled a first aid kit out of one of his jacket pockets and got to work on her should.
The wound was deeper then what he thought and it took longer to wrap it up then Leo had hoped. After locking the door and window he left her to rest, sat on the couch, and called Alyssa.
Occ:// Mind if i play Alyssa to or would you want to play her? i don't really care i just want another character to be involved to make the story a little more interesting.

Lucia just sat there, not wanting to struggle any longer. Her wound was throbbing painfully, and blood was still gushing out a bit. However, when the bandage was applied, the bleeding stopped immediately. She felt so weak, and useless.
She'd never been beaten by Leo, but she technically hadn't been beaten this time. She'd just been injured. In her mind, she'd never lose to anyone. Call her cocky, but she just believed that.
She closed her eyes for a moment, but didn't sleep. With her shoulder still throbbing, it would be impossible to sleep for a while.

Alyssa felt her phone vibrate and checked the number. It was an unknown caller which she knew always meant it was Leo. "Can't you ever tell me when you leave?!" She screamed into the mouthpiece as she answered. "You know how much I hate it when you disappear from headquarters!"
Leo's ear rung from Alyssa's Rant. "See telling you I am going on a mission would make you think i care. Just tell Elijah I found his princess. Oh, and make sure you keep James out of trouble." Is all he said before hanging up the phone.
Before long, Leo decided he was hungry and looked in the cabinets. Nothing. "Can't girls keep food around?" He mumbled before looking in the fridge for something. When he found nothing again he sighed and lounged on the couch and watched a movie on the Iphone that Elijah had given him for the mission.

Lucia finally got the strength to get back up. She leaned up from her bed, staying in a sitting position. She was pissed. So beyond pissed, really. This guy had gotten her shoulder, and now, she wouldn't be able to fight for a good while. Well, she'd still fight, but she probably wouldn't win.
She still had her knives. She thanked whoever was listening for him being so stupid as to forget about them. But, they were on the ground, laying idly. She knew it would hurt to move her arm.
But she still got up.
A groan of pain escaped her lips as she pushed herself off of the bed. Then, she let out another one as she moved her shoulder to pick up her knives, standing for a moment, panting, head spinning.
Her eyes scanned the room, finally spotting the dark blonde hair that peeked over the side of the couch. He was lounging around. It irritated her that he was so at ease. She stumbled towards him, her steps uneven. The pain was fading now- she was working through it. Still, her shoulder burned when she moved it.
When she was about half-way to the couch, she yelled. "Leo, you bastard! Fight me again. I'll kick your scrawny butt!"

Leo was surprised Lucia still had the will power to try and fight. "Damn your stubborn." He commented as he stood up and turned to her. "Just stop already. I'lll beat you with my bare hands. Your shoulder is too roughed up to even try." He crossed his arms and stared at her. She was obviously pissed. Leo could tell that he hurt her pride much more then anything else.

Lucia grinned at his comment about her stubbornness. Yeah, she was stubborn- he could get over that, if it was a problem to him. She had pride that was to remain untouched! But, deep down inside, she felt god awful for losing. She wanted to punch herself in the face for letting him get to her dominant shoulder.
Though she wasn't all that great with throwing with her left hand, she reared back her uninjured arm, and flung her hand forward. Her dagger flew out of her hand, heading quickly towards Leo's shoulder. She'd aimed for his head, but she was inaccurate with her left arm.

Leo was shocked when he realized that a deadly dagger was heading straight for him. He dodged a direct hit but felt the dagger slice his arm. Without thinking he ran forward and made a slide tackle for Lucia's legs, hoping her reflexes would be slowed enough for him to trip her up.

Lucia was shocked when the dagger actually sliced him. She'd expected it to miss him- or for him to dodge. As he ran forward, she wasn't sure what he was aiming for. So, he caught her off guard when he made a tackle for her legs. Her one remaining knife- the one in her right hand- flew into the air, and fell down, stabbing a nearby chair. It stuck upright in the fabric. Lucia's other knife's blade was buried in the wall that had been behind Leo.
She fell right on top of Leo, with a loud, "Oof." She was weaponless, but she still struggled slightly, though she was still a bit weak from her injury. "Dammit, let me go!"

Leo felt her weight fall on him and he grinned with satisfaction. He didn't expect his tackle to actually work. "Oh no" he said as he rolled over, holding Lucia down by her shoulders. "Check mate ma-lady" He taunted.
Leo grinned and looked into Lucia's eyes. "I won again. Sorry princess" he said putting more force on her I injured should rather then on her wounded one. He might be trying to subdue her but he didn't want to cause any un-needed pain. Lucia was still a former Conrad.

Lucia cursed aloud as Leo rolled, so that he was on top of her, instead of her being on top of him, holding down her shoulders. She felt the stinging pressure of his weight on her injured shoulder, though there was more pressure on her uninjured one. She bit her lip, angry at herself again for not being able to dodge fast enough. Oh, just wait until she was better- then she would truly kick Leo's butt.
"Stop calling me that," she said in response to him calling her princess. "I'm no princess."

"Sure you are. Always getting the attention from Elijah. Your his princess. Why you of all people ran away from the institution I will never know." Leo said mockingly. At this point Leo was more so trying to keep her calmed down. "If you come back now I'm sure he will forgive you." He continued to analyze her features as he talked. Realizing how pretty she actually was he quickly chased the thought out of his head.
Soon Leo felt the injuring on his arm start to sting. "If you promise to be a good girl I'll let you up" he reasoned. "You don't have to be held down, unless you like having such a handsome guy like me this close to you."

Lucia furrowed her brows, but didn't disagree with Leo's statement about her getting all of the attention from Elijah. It was true- Elijah treated her like a daughter, but Lucia didn't feel like murdering people anymore. And, at times, Elijah seemed to be too busy with other matters to act as a real father. Lucia's childhood had been far from normal. Her days consisted of training, and homeschooling, and assassination tactics.
"Oh, you wish I enjoyed having such a 'handsome' guy this close," she replied sarcastically. She rolled her eyes. "I make no promises, but I'll try." She gave him a wink. She hadn't realized that she was blushing.

"Thank god." Leo snorted as he got up. "And just to be sure," He walked over to the first dagger and picked it up "I will be taking these from now on." Leo turned and made his way to the other dagger that was in the far wall. He had seen her cheeks turn red but couldn't figure out if it was really what happened or if he was imagining things.
"How is your arm?" He asked sounding a little more concerned then he had intended. He took of his jacket and t-shirt to check the cut on his own shoulder, and also the cut he had gotten in their first skirmish that was on his side. His should was only barely cut but it hurt like hell, but as for his side, it was a fairly deep cut and dried blood was all around it. "Not the worst injuring you've given me."

Lucia groaned as she sat back up, standing, and dusting herself off. As Leo took her daggers, she pouted, sticking out her bottom lip, and crossing her arms with a wince. She quickly let her right shoulder go back down to her side, the injury she'd received throbbing again from the motion.
When he asked about her arm, she waited for him to finish examining himself. Her face, which had faded back to its normal coloring, turned red again when Leo took off his t-shirt. When she saw his cuts, she grinned. She'd done a good job with the slice on his side. Dried blood was all around it, she noted.
"My shoulder's fine," she said, though it was obvious that it wasn't 'fine'. Her eyes traveled over his chest and abdomen, taking in his muscles. She shook her eyes away, then said, "Want me to dress your wounds? After all, I gave them to you." She seemed indifferent of whether he said yes or no.

"I don't know if I trust you enough for that." He answered without raising his head. "And don't try to act tough. I know your shoulder is killing you. There's no way it isn't." As he talked Leo walked over to the sink and slowly started rinsing off the dried blood.

Lucia bit her lip when he said that she shouldn't try to act tough. But she'd been taught to act tough her entire life. She couldn't just drop the act now. So she didn't. "Your loss," she said in response to him not taking her offer on dressing his wounds.
"And even if my shoulder does hurt, there's nothing you or I can do about it." Her eyes narrowed. "So, I take it you don't plan on letting me go?" She pursed her lips.

Leo chuckled and stared at Lucia. "Not a chance. And flirting wont help you either." He retorted and turned back to cleaning his side.
As Leo finished up on his wound he leaned against the counter and stared at Lucia. "Either you can take a nap now and rest up or we can leave pronto. Which do you want? I honestly don't care. Although t is nice to have an excuse to be away from Alyssa. She's a beauty but man she can get bothersome." He said. Afterwards he realized how much he sounded like he was trying to make her jealous.
