Setting:
It's midsummer in the forest, leaves are just beginning to start turning their faded shades. The area is a hidden forest nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. Theres a lake in the middle of the forest and a river running to the north and south.
My character: Name: Skylark Age: 4 summers Rank: Alpha Male Appearance: Personality: Sky is a fierce and loyal fighter. Hes protective of his pack and his friends. Hes quick to anger and quick to forgive.

Appearance: Mostly black, with a patch of silvery grey fur over left eye and a silver front paw
Personality: Loyal but shy, will fight when he needs to, but would rather be hunting. Freespirited and holds grudges.

(i ish back) MY characters Name: Kaze/ Kazumi/ Yuki age: 3 summers/3 summers/ 0.5 summers Gender: Male/ Female/ Female Looks:  on the left Kaze the right Kazumi  Yuki Other: Kaze and Kazumi are brother and sister. Kazumi and Yuki are mother and pup While Kazumi was in heat a male wolf mated with her and was killed shortly after because she didn't know him she wasn't really that sad she had a litter of 3 pups and because she couldn't hunt she couldn't make enough milk and so only Yuki survived. All of this was before they joined Skylarks pack She can now supply enough milk and is a den mother. Kazumi is motherly and kind to everyone but go to hurt one of her loved ones and she will snap. Kaze is like a big pup he will like to play unless the situation demands him to be serious then all playfulness is out the window. |

Sky padded into the area, approaching the lake slowly. His ears twitching, listening for movement. When he was satisfied that there were no intruders, he relaxed slightly and leaned his head down, lapping at the water.

From the far side of the lake, Dusk stared at him, not moving so much as a muscle as the younger wolf drank. He'd rather not fight this Alpha male.

Kaze padded into the area and began to drink some of then water after lowering his head to Sky to acknowledge that Sky was alpha and he was no threat to him. As he drank some of the water he could hear foot steps running to him, quickly he turned around thinking it might be an attack before a small bundle of black fur bumped into his front paws. He looked down and sighed before smiling at his little niece that was smiling up at him her tail wagging happily. Kaze lowered his head and nuzzled her gently "Where is your mother Yuki?" He asked her knowing that his sister would be panicking worrying over where the little pup had gotten to. Just as he thought that a white she-wolf ran out panting before falling to the floor in relief at seeing her daughter ok and safe.

Sky grinned at his pack mates as he lifted his head from the lake.
"How are you this fine morning guys?" He asked them.
He sniffed the air and caught the scent of a wolf not in his pack.
He growled slightly and raised his maw to the sky howling low, inviting the outsider to join them.

Kazumi was about to answer Sky until he growled she quickly had Yuki move under her to protect her until she was sure the strange wolf was nonthreatening.
Kaze tilted his head and looked around wondring where the other wolf was and why he didnt smell him.

Dusk slipped from the shadows of the tree and padded slowly over to the water,looking warily at Sky, as if he thought he would attack him. One tattered ear cocked as he caught sight of the pup, so, at least there was one pack doing well right now.

Yuki moved from under her mother and ran over to the stranger and began to sniff him before giving him a playful yip and jumping around wanting to play.
Kazumi jumped up to move to grab Yuki scared that she might get hurt before looking around if he was going to hurt her then it would be 3 against 1 and he wouldn't stand a chance so Yuki was pretty safe.

Dusk was surprised, as the pup approached him, that her mother would let her approach a lone wolf like him. It had been a very long time since any wolf had approached without attacking, and for it to be a pup, well. He smiled down at the cub.
'Don't worry, little one, I won't hurt you. I am... Dusk. Or at least, that's the name I use now.'

Yuki yipped at him again as she jumped playfully from side to side.
Kazumi smiled a bit. "Her name is Yuki she can't talk yet but she wants to play" She said as she lay down and watched both of them and listening at the area around in case of danger.

It had been a long time since Dusk had played with anyone. Head cocked to one side, he watched the pup for a minute, before executing a bow towards her. This might be fun, after all.

Yuki yipped more before pouncing at him and starting a play fight like she had done with her uncles. As she pounced at him she playfully batted his paws and muzzle before jumping back and pouncing at him again.

With a sort of all body shrug, Dusk joined in the play fight, being careful not to hurt the youngster. In the distance he could hear a muffled snort of laughter...
