Personality: Bree is very tomboyish. She doesn't mind getting her hands dirty and hardly ever wears dressy clothes unless she's out to impress someone. She can be a bit harsh at times but she will always apologize. She doesn't like admitting she's in love. If she likes you, she'll try to deny it at first, but once she hangs around you for a while, she'll come out of her shell. 

Appearance:

Bree has long blonde hair that is wavy. Her eyes are a hazel color. She is very slim, but she is quite short for her age. She has a scar that goes from the right side of her neck to her left shoulder blade. The scar isn't all that noticeable unless you purposefully look at it. Only she knows how she got the scar. She won't tell anyone else.

Personality: Jake is a very quiet person. Most interpret his silence as rudeness but its not, rather he doesnt really care about whats going on around him. He is like most of his friends in the sense that he hangs around night clubs alot, just to make out with drunk girls. He may seem like he is the type to double cross you but in reality, once you make friends with Jake, he is loyal to the end.

Appearence: He is tall and slender, with a finely built structure. The majority of his weight is muscle but it hardly shows, saying that he is as thin as a twig. He has jet black hair and ice blue eyes that will peirce through your soul with the slightest glare. He tends to wear tight, dark clothing but is in no way a goth or emo.

((I'll start.))

  Walking the shores alone, Bree watched the waves crash gently onto the sand. The world's own music surrounded her. The birds in the forest sang, the frogs in the trees let out their calls also. She sat down onto the sand and let out a sigh. The summer was her favorite/most hated season of the year.

   In summer all Bree did was watch the ocean. There was nothing else to do. She didn't have very many friends and most of her friends went somewhere else for the summer. She closed her eyes and thought of what to do. The powerful ocean breeze blew her blonde hair behind her, causing her to let a small smile rest on her face.

Jake yelled out the warning to his friends, the larger wave that they had been waiting for had arrived. He spun his board around, standing up just as the wave swept it up and sliding him along the water unusaly graceful for a human. From here he could see the entire beach, the clumps of people at the food courts and ice cream bars. He noticed a girl sitting alone, figuring she was just waiting for her girl friends or maybe even a boyfriend. He was zooming in closer to shore now, the wave loosing height. Suddenly he found that his board wasnt underneath him any more as he crashed into the cool water.

He could hear the waves crashing abouve him, the sound of his friend's voices muffled by the gallons of water between them. He sank lower and lower, unable to kick to the top. He had to think quick, his air supply depleting quickly. He felt his way into the dark shadows of the sea, surrounding his nose and mouth with a waterproof barrier. It wouldnt last for long but it might give him a chance at survival. He looked down to find that he had become enlodged in the rocky seafloor, the stone crushing his ankle. He looked up knowing his pals were yelling his name, wondering why he hadnt returned to the surface yet. Where is the dang life gaurd. Arent they supposed to handle things like this?

Bree saw some panick in the water and decided to check it out. She swam out to sea a couple of yards and saw a guy under the water. She hated going underwater, given that she was at one with fire. She let out a panicky sigh and took in a deep breath.

Her legs propelled her underwater. She reached the guy. She looked closely at the rock and a frown spread across her face. Oh crap. I'm gonna have to melt the rock a bit to get it off of his leg. She put her hands on the rock and closed her eyes. An immense heat filled the water, causing the rock to melt a bit. Once the rock was melted enough, she pushed a bit on it. The rock slid off of the guy's ankle. She grabbed his hand and began to swim back to the surface. Crud. He's gonna know that I'm not normal.

Bree gasped for air when she reached the surface. She listened to what he said, but didn't respond. She didn't even look at him. The water blurred the scene underwater, only allowing her to see major things, not details. She swam towards the shore and sat down on the sand. She didn't want to talk about what she just did. She didn't want to explain it.

Her shirt was plastered to her skin, her blonde hair soaking wet. She sat there in an attempt to hide her sadness and guilt. Nobody knew about what she could do except, well, herself. The ocean breeze skimmed across the water, causing Bree to shiver a bit. She grabbed her shirt and rang it out the best she could without taking it off.

Jake reached shore, having sent his friends out for ice cream and smoothies. "Ok, lets get right down to the point. You melted a rock with your bare hands, now dont get me wrong, I apreciate it but you should be more careful with your powers. You might expose us." Jake said, a cheeful glint in his eyes but his face a still mask of nothingness. He was so happy to have found someone like him, someone with powers of the elements. Technicaly speaking, he didnt have an elemental power but he treated it the same way, being cautious and learning to contol it. He didnt always like the fact that he had the ability to harm others.

Jealousy struck Jake, fire being an element that he admired alot. Something so essential to life yet the very thing that destroys beings and objects. "Sure sure, fire may be feirce but not nearly as mysterious as shadow." He covered her hand when he noticed his friends returning with his promised smoothie. "Well thanks again for saving me, I'll see ya around some time?" He asked, meaning every word. He grabbed his smoothie, winking at his savior before turning and making his way to the food court with his friends.

Bree blushed at the wink, then her face turned red with anger. She pushed herself off of the sandy ground and walked towards her house. Her parents were gone, so she was by herself. She jumped in and out of the shower and put on clean clothes. She walked towards the mall and heard her phone ring. She didn't care who was calling her, so she didn't answer. The smell of perfume smacked her in the face as she walked through the doors of the mall. She made her way to the escalator and stepped on.
