Jake laughed, recieving two hits from Bree and one from his other friend as he pulled a Matrix bend to avoid a third. "That's good to hear, cause I was afraid that you wouldnt enjoy this. Most girls wouldnt, or so I have been told, well you pas.s alright with me." He said ducking and running the perimeter of the wall, sticking close and low, hardly making any noise. He jumped out where Bree was, shouting "Boo." but when he pulled the trigger, he was dissapointed with an empty click. "Aww man." He said looking up from his gun to the armed girl standing there.

"What goes around, comes around." She pointed her gun at his torso and shot another fury of paintballs. She started laughing while she was shooting, but then she noticed that the last shot that she took was a click, no thud, a click. She was out of ammo, too. "Crud." She got from her sitting place and ran to the opposite side of the room and got behind another shelf. She looked around for ammo, but couldn't manage to find any. She pondered on pinning another guy down and taking his gun, but instead she just sat there, hiding behind a shelf.

"I think that counts as a kill, what do you think?" He asked, recieving another one to his back, he sighed dropping his gun and looking around for a place to hide the rest of the match out. He barely dodged another blow as he slid under the clerks desk, pulling the shadows around him to make himself disapear, though to the audience it would seem only as if he had made a quick get away.

Bree threw her gun at a random guy across the room, hitting him in the head. "There, now I'm out of ammo." She giggled a bit, which was unusual for her, especially during the summer. Maybe she could learn to enjoy the summer. She couldn't use her power with all of the spectators, but she made her hands enveloped in flames and looked at them. She had an obsession with fire. Most people at her school called her a pyromaniac, but her friends understood her obsession. She then felt something hit her in the lower back again. She turned around to find that a guy had snuck up on her. She let out a squeal before jumping over the clerk's desk and laid beside Jake. "This is more fun than just sitting at the beach."

"You bet. So is surfing when you don't almost drown." Jake laughed quietly shifting to make a little more room for Bree. "And soon much better than Gamestop, dont ya think?" He smiled brightly remembering her reaction at the store. 'Maybe she likes me? I hope so cause she is kind of cute.' He thought to himself looking away and to the floor.

"Way better than gamestop." She smiled. Her heart was still racing from the adrenaline of getting shot with paintballs. "So, what do we do now? Wait until they run out of ammo, too?" She didn't want him to move. She wanted to be close to him. She was glad she met someone... like her. He could control something, she could control something. It was almost like they were puzzle pieces that fit together in some way. She was coated in paint, but somehow the paint had avoided her hair and face.

Must have hidden, thinking that we are still armed. Figures. He looked at the windows, finding that the crowd had gone. "Where do you think they are?" He whispered tucking his head back in to the little space.

She closed her eyes. "Maybe they left." She nudged him back. The paint on her neck started to dry, leaving small cracks along where her skin moved. She looked around and didn't see any sign of Jake's friends. ((Just so you know, I did think you died. Oh~ Runne! *ginger Jaaku poofs out of nowhere and tackles emeraldwing before running off and poofing away.*))
