OOC:// That's fine. x3 And we need some way for the three of them to get together. Alexander, Cammie, and Cee. Would it be alright if Alexander requested that Cammie comes along with him?

Ooc/ Sure. :3 Maybe she could have requested something from the blacksmith's, and Cammie's delivering it?

"Thank you," Alexander gave a small, polite bow, before straightening up. "These swords look amazing. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you with my uncle." Alexander took the finely-wrapped swords in his arms, trying hard not to let the beautiful crafts fall from his arms. Personally, he thought they were heavy. Or maybe that was just his laziness speaking. "I believe they will be a great priveledge for the knights to have." He started to turn, before pasuing and turning back again. He pulled his sword from its leather sheath, a bit shocked as gasps came from all the workers. Psh. I'm not going to behead anyone. His mouth turned into a grimace. This land needs some serious mending. To think that the commoners are lacking such trust for the royal family? "My sword needs some fixing." He laid his sword down on the table, its metal blade shining as a beam of sun from a hole in the roof of the forge. The worn, leather-wrapped hilt was nearly falling off, showing the golden handle that blared for attention underneath. "The blade is so dull I can hardly maim an oponent with this thing." he pased again. "And the leather's falling off. Think you can fix it? Thanks." Finally turning away, Alexander marches back to his horse, finding someway to fasten the horses safely in. Mounting his horse, Alexander tried to understand the directions he was given to Cee's home. "To the end of the street... at the edge of the forest in the cul-de-sac..." Alexander whistled to himself, yanking on the reigns of his horse. Following the road, Alexander tried not to freak at the tiny amount of wealth in the village. Surely the people were more well-off than this? [Sorry, braindead. x3]

Stephen bore the sword with a faint look of shock as the lord departed. "Would you like me to...?" Cammie started, unsure what to do. His order was very unexpected, but it would be a very good one to consider filling. Stephen shook his head. "No, no. Speaking of Ceirse, I need you to deliver some throwing daggers for her." Cammie nodded, remembering scrolling in the designs on the hilts. They were small and looked delicate, but the way they were carved ensured both lethality and comfortable grip. She headed towards the back and found the green linen-wrapped parcel. She tucked it under her arm and sped out of the forge yard, eager to get back. The tree's progress had been interrupted by the lord's arrival, and she was eager to complete it. She was hoping the trinket could fetch her a good price to buy a new apron with, since her current one was ill-fitting and ratty. She reached Ceirse's house quickly, whether because she was so distracted that she didn't notice the time, or that she simply walked fast, she wasn't sure. But she was sure she felt her heart drop as she saw the lord's horse. Right. He was here, and she needed to speak with Ceirse. This should be interesting.

OOC:// Before I forget, is there romance in this roleplay? Or not? Because I honestly don't mind either one. BIC:// Rin neighed at Cammie, her dark hooves pawing at the groun and pulling up grass and dirt. Her green eyes darted from Cammie to where her master was, in the house. Did this girl mean any harm to her master? She neighed again, tossing her mane over to the other side of her long neck. From inside the small cottage, Alexander was walking to the small and delicate wooden table. Three small stolls sat around it, one already occupied by a fur-clad huntress, her chocolate brown eyes glaring at the man infront of her. She was bare-foot, a long braid of natural chesnut curls wound by a small ribbon, flowers interwined in with the coil of hair. Behind her, on what seemed to be made of a banket of wool, layed an enormous dog, who was absently shredding the body of a hare. "Do you have my money, Alex?" She asked, letting her usual bluntness spread through her tone. She had never been on formal terms with the boy, they had always been extremely close friends. Other people would've been shocked with her disrespect for the king's nephew. "Yea, yea," Alexander rolled his eyes. "But really? Am I only allowed to come to visit you now when I deliver your money? Wow, Cee, you've turned shallow." He laughed, his chuckle filling up the small cottage. "I thought you'd be glad to see me!" He snickered. He loved being around Cee. He knew that she would never judge him, so he knew he could be himself around her. "Just give me the gold." She deadpanned, unable to stop the grin from spreading on her face. She grabbed the small velvet bag from the air as it was thrown to at her head. "Sheesh, Alex. never pinned you for the violent type." She snickered, dumping the contents of the bag onto the wooden table. "13 gold coins." She pursed her lips. "You guys have gotten cheep." her eyes hardened. Alexander shrugged. "Blame the King." was the only advice he muttered.

Cammie stood hesitantly in the doorway, her cheeks flushing as she caught a brief look at what was most definitely a private moment. She cleared her throat apprehensively, leaning one foot over the threshold, but not wanting to barge in. She turned back to the lord's mare as she neighed, hoping the horse wasn't agitated. "Shh, it's okay, girl." She hugged the green parcel closer to her chest, feeling the daggers dig faintly into her skin, but not really noticing. She didn't want to be here. Between the lord and the huntress, it was sure to be uncomfortable. And the fact that they seemed to be friends--if not lovers, she wondered suddenly--would make her feel like she was an enemy. Oh, if only Stephen hadn't given her the job of delivering the parcel. Mentally, she cursed him, and then took it right back. She had enjoyed crafting the handles of these, and one of her practice blades had been good enough to even include in the set. It only made sense that she should deliver it, especially with her mentor hard at work on a very special request. Sighing, she set her shoulders to a prouder, more dignified position, and plastered a slight smile on her face. Get in, deliver, get out. That was all she had to do. Apprehensively, she cleared her throat. "Hello?"

Ceirse's heead whipped to thee side, turning her sharp eyes to the girl in her doorway. "Oh, hello, Camryn. Did you come to deliver my daggers?" she queried, her head tilted to the side. The dog in the back of the room gave a bark, earning it a glare from a shocked Alexander. Ceirse took a fe hesitant steps toward Cammie, before stepping back again. "Where are my manners," she added, as a second thought. She oviously didn't care for manners. "This is Lord Alexander Weston III." She jabbed a thumb in the direction of an amused Alexander, who shot her an annoyed look. "Alex." he shot back. "Just Alex." he backed his chair a bit farther, before placing his bot clad feet onto the wooden table, throwing his head back lazily. He had already pulled off his cloak, letting it fall to the ground in a heap somewhere near the dog who was munching on his hare. "You're so rude, Cee. Just invite the girl in." he added, patting the two stools beside him. Ceirse shot him another glare, before gently pulling the green parcel from the girl's hands and depositing them on a shelf that jutted out from the side of thee cottage wall, where al her other hunting weapons lay. She took another step back, before taking a seat beside Alexander. "Come and sit with us, Cammie." She suggested.

Cammie smiled at Ceirse. She hardly knew the girl, and yet she was inviting within her home. The huntress was always somewhat of a surprise to her, but in a good way. And to sit at a table with her and...the king's nephew. She looked to him then, a slight shiver worming its way down her spine. Perhaps it was the way he insisted on calling him with shocking informality, or perhaps those shocking blue eyes. Cammie blinked and turned her attention back to Ceirse, realizing belatedly that she hadn't spoken yet. "I'd love to," she said against better judgement, curiosity getting the best of her. Ooc/ Sorry for the short post. :/

Ceirse gave her a nod, before giving Alexander a nudge in the ribs with her elbow. Alexander gave a yelp, before shying away. "What do you want from me?" he asked innocently, not really knowing why jis friend elbowed him. Ceirse nodded towards his red cloak, still lying in a heap on the floor, beside the dog who seemed to want to play tug of war with it, from the curious and mischevious look in its eyes. The dog clamped its teeth on the velvetty fabric, piercing it easily. Ceirse shrugged, turning back to her guests. "Thouht you'd wouldn't have wanted your cloak devoured." she grunted, before slamming her elbows down on the table, her forehead against her hands. "You rich butts." she muttered, fully aware that Alexander could hear her. "Whatever, not my problem. I didn't ask for any of this "rich buttness"," Alexander snickered, before giving one last look at his cloak. "Anyway, I have thousands of those things at home. When will they figure out I don't need all these velvet things? I mean, sure, being royal has its perks, but they never really give a thought to all those more common people," Alexander growled. "Wish they'd think less of themselves. If I become king and take that stupid ti tle from the brat, I'll make sure to run things a little differently." he turned to Cammie. "What do you think, Cammie?" He asked, trying hard not to get lost in her brown eyes. He had always been a sucker for brown eyes. OOC:// Meh, that's fine. :3

Cammie felt like a bird lost in a snake's eyes. Alexander's eyes were unique to say the least, and she had trouble clearing her throat to speak. "Well, I suppose I could use some more velvet in my wardrobe." It was meant to be a joke, but she wasn't sure her wry tone would be enough. She was in loose breeches as it was, and a loose blouse to match. She had discarded her apron for the walk over, and exchanged it for a very light cloak to protect againt the playful spring breeze, but not one thing she owned was as nice a fabric as velvet. She was suddenly worried about her appearance, scuffed and dirty as she was from the forge. Her short blonde hair had to be in a state of disarray, if not full of ashes or scorched in places. Her skin would be smudged on her cheeks from where she had wiped away sweat, and hands streaked with charcoal even though she had had gloves on... Suddenly, Cammie was sure that she was in no way fit to be with these two--a lord and a huntress. She stared down at her hands, feeling her cheeks heat in embaras.sment as she took in their additional dryness. She didn't belong here, sitting round a table with two figues much more important than her. She should have been back at the forge, helping Stephen with Alexander's important order, or finishing her own little product. She bit back a sigh and kept her gaze down, unwilling to meet anyone's eyes.

Alexander, being his usual oblivous self, didn't realize that Cammie was uncomphortable with being there. Leaning back, he took his eyes from her brown ones, breaking his stare from her face. Alexander let out a huff of air, before crossing his arms. "Velvet is pretty expensive though. I am sure us royals at the castle can go without our billions of velvet cloaks," Alexander had a thoughtful look in his eyes, before his face turned into a scowl. "I hate it how they always flaunt their riches," he paused as Ceirse gave him a dry look of amusement. "Oh, sorry. I know I'm not one to talk," he gave a small chuckle, fingering the small gloden crown that sat on his head. He had put it back on just before coming to visit Ceirse. "But the Monarchy barely takes a step towards even thinking of the common people. They just think for themselves." Ceirse gave him another glare, before giving him a light kick in the leg with her bare foot. "Then why don't you do something about it, Alex? You can challenge the heir for his ti tle, I presume?" She asked, before shaking her head at Alexander's lazy ex pression. "Too lazy for that. I'll wait until someone else does it for me." With that, Ceirse stepped up from her stool. "Well, I'm off. I have to go hunting. I'm a bit behind on schedule. Gotta go hunt," she motioned for the dog in the corner to get up, and the wolf-like hound shot toward its mistress and stopped by her side. "Don't kill each other." She said wrily, before heading out, her bow tied to her back, and her dog following her as she went, saliva dripping from it's mouth. [Would it be okay if Alex asked Cammie to go with him to the knight's corronation or whatever I called it?]

Ooc/ Sure. x3 You don't really have to ask, you know~ Bic/ Cammie squirmed uncomfortably in her seat as Ceirse made to leave. She was sure now that she wasn't supposed to be here, left alone in the huntress's house with a lord who had spoken so casually of challenging the throne. His comment about velvet barely made its way into her ears. But she couldn't help but catch his comment about the lack of concern for the subjects of the kingdom. After brewing over the question in her mind, she decided it perhaps wasn't too awful of a question to ask. After all, Alex didn't seem to think all of the jokes about the royal family odd. She just hoped it wouldn't spoil his mood, coming from her. "Why do you suppose they care more about velvet that peasants?" Cammie finally forced throat her throat, starting intensely at her hands. "I mean...isn't there a threat of war on their hands? Shouldn't they be a bit more concerned?" She hadn't meant to bring down the merry atmosphere by asking the question, but she swore she felt the mood dampen a bit. She mentally cursed herself. Great job, Cammie. Leave it to you to ruin all the fun.

Alexander turned his head in her direction, uncrossing his legs. He thought of her question, trying not to feel satisfaction that someone else agreed with his view, and als trying to push away the small seed of anger that she was questioning the throne. "Us nobleman and royals care more for riches and wealth than the common good of the people, I presume. Well, most of us. As long as we have our power and wealth, we don't really care what others feel. It's human nature. But the king feels it especially. I don't deny that he once was a good king, but wars and other chaos has turned him... uncaring. "As for the war, again, it isn't the king's battle. of course, being the king, he has the sole power to declare war. But it won't be he that will fight the war - the war is always put in the nobleman's hands. We're more pawns to the king than anything." Alexander finished, not really knowing whether he made sense or not. He sat there for a moment, a thoughtful look in his eyes, when he remembered something. "Oh, I forgot something-" Alexander shot up from his seat. "I have to find someone to escort to the Knight's event tonight." He tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Would you like to go with me?" [Wow, I made a fail post. I think all I did was make Alexander go on a rampage. :C]

Cammie listened thoughfully to his explanation, thinking that it made sense, whether or not the truth was a nice one. She had opened her mouth to speak. She had meant to say, I think you're right. It really is sad that the king no longer cares for his people, and that it has come to talk of war. She was struggling about whether or not to say this, and was wondering about its propriety when his last question came. "Excuse me?" was the first thing that flew out of her mouth. One of her hands flew to it, as if to cover up the rude question, but inside, her thought were turmoiling. Obviously, he simply needed a young lady to chaperone. It was probably some old tradition, but Cammie was shocked that he had asked her, of all people! Why not Ceirse? Or some pompous court lady? Maybe it was just annoy the king, or the other courtiers, but Cammie couldn't help but feel a strange swell in her chest. She did want to see the castle, and a Knight's event might be interesting... She realised that her mouth had been closed an awfully long time, and her cheeks again flushed with embarassment. Slowly taking her hand from her mouth, she cautiously raised her gaze to Alexanders. "I...I would love to, milord, if it wouldn't inconvenience you."
