The morning arrived and Brisingr had not slept very well. He noticed leaves and such had gotten blown in over night. He reached down and began to fiddle with them.

((This would make a great manga. Id buy this book!))

As sunlight started peaking into his den and the hot sunlight hit his back, Elk shifted uncomfortably and let out a small groan. His whole body hurt and his muscles ached. Although it wasn't uncommon for this to happen to him the morning after a first shift, it was the first time it's been so noticeable. Probably because his body wasn't used to it at all.

With more than a little effort, he pushed himself up and out of the leaves that had almost buried him in the night, groaning again when he doubled over and almost got sick. His stomach was worse than empty. Although wolves could go for days without eating, he knew humans had to eat once a day at the very least. Combine that with the fact he hadn't eaten in a few days and that he burned all his energy shifting, it made for the very uncomfortable feeling of his stomach seeming to be eating itself. What's worse was he had no way of getting food like this.

And you need to stop keeping Tsunade-dono waiting for you to post on your RP, Dream-oneechan. *pokes* And yes, I have been lurking in it all this time. xP))

Elk took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself. No matter what form he was in, he was still a wolf and he wouldn't allow this situation to defeat him. He pushed himself to his feet, leaning on the inner wall of his den for a few moment to rest, and took a few steps outside. For a moment, the sunlight blinding him and his foot hit a root, causing him to fall face first into the leaves outside his den. Although the leave's cushioned him, the fall had still shocked him slightly, so he stayed unmoving until his head stopped spinning.

Brisingr saw Elk staggering and immediately went over to help him if he was allowed to. He shook that thought from his head. He would help Elk if he wanted it or not. He was not abut to let a good friend suffer in any way. "Elk, are you ok?"he asked.

((Pfft, am not! xD Well, I am for one of my friends. But only because her's is a dead-beat prick. >_>))

Elk turned his head slightly to watch Brisingr out of the corner of his eyes, a wave of confusion and uncertainty hitting him. It was still so difficult to see the human's true motivation, yet Elk still didn't want him to leave.

"Hurts..." he whimpered softly after a moment, his cheeks flushing from embarr*censored*ment. He must seem so weak to Brisingr.

((......... Is the 'her' Inna or me? o_o;

Brisingr put his hand to Elk's cheek. "Hmm. Youre not sick, but you must be famished."he said in a soft tone. "How about I show you how humans go fishing? Then you will feel good as new.". Brisigr went over to his horse and took a three rods out of a pack on its back. He began to click the rods in place together to form a fishing pole.

Elk flinched slightly from Brisingr's touch, but a flicker of life showed in his eyes at the idea of food. He forced himself to sit up, watching with an odd ex
pression on his face as Brisingr seemed to be making some sort of branch... humans were so weird. Was that really how they caught fish?

((Pfft, you guys xD)) 

Brisingr looked with a smile at Elk. "Come with me."he said with a beckoning arm. He began walking twards the lake. He stopped and looked behind himself to see if Elk was coming. He really hoped he would follow him. He didnt like the thought of Elk starving.

((Ah. Names and honorifics are hard to understand in pig-Latin. :/ And it's because I have a serious amount of respect for Tsunade-dono as a Roleplayer, but I don't actually know her all that well xD; ))

Elk blinked, pushing himself to his feet again to follow after Brisingr. He was still in pain, but his own wolfish stubbornness prevented it from keeping him from following. Granted, he was a lot slower than the human, and he kept using the trees to stay upright, but he was following nonetheless.

((Owie. ;~; I have to sketch out a drawing for art, write and essay about my hobbies for my biology teacher and an essay about wolf research for my computer lit teacher, and do a bunch of confusing problems for Algebra 2. All of which is due tomorrow, although technically the wolf essay is a week late and I'm behind on the drawing >_<;; ))
