Alex smiled wisply (Word? xD I think it's spelled wrong too Cx) at his friend in the corner. He laughed at her words quietly, not even knowing why she came. Poppy wasn't much of a partier, or at least for as long as he'd known her. Alex then noticed Poppy's eyes widen, not a good sign. He turned as she flinched, wondering what was happening. It was a fight, nothing good would come of it either. "Let's go Poppy," Alex said, reaching for her hand. He knew Poppy and how she wouldn't like it if the fight spread. he didn't want her involved.

Sam heard a small noise, coming from above. She quickly turned in a bl
ink of an eye, and she gazed upon the rooftops ahead. She could barely make out a dark figure on the top, and she figured she knew who, or what, it was. She pursed her lips, wondering if she should flee. She didn't know if s/he was friendly, dangerous, or still thirsty. S/He could injure her in a bl
ink of an eye; that is, if they could catch her first.

Poppy took hold of Alex's hand and let him lead her away. Once they were in a quieter spot she let go and looked around. They were near the bar, and she realised she was thirsty. She'd spilled all her water over that guy, so she had none left. "I'm going to go get another drink," Poppy told Alex before walking over to the counter. A tall man served her and creeped her out a bit. She grabbed her drink and hurried back to Alex.

Caine leaped down next to the other vampire and stayed in a crouch. He didn't know her; for all he knew, she could be a newborn. Uncontrollable, stronger than older vampires. He wouldn't stand a chance. Instead of risking a deadly fight, Caine stood and showed that he wasn't willing to fight. He hoped she wasn't either.

Alex grinned slightly at Poppy's discomfort with the bar tender, knowing it was wrong of him to do so. "He looks like a good guy," He teased her, nudging her arm playfully. He paused and listened to the akward silence that distilled them. He coughed quietly and shifted his weight. "So.... What now?" Sam asked.

"Who're you and what do you want?" Sam sneered at the other vampire. She knew this approached would probably get her attacked, but she could truely care less. Sam looked down at her shoes and noticed a loose can near it, away from a pile in the corner. She glanced quickly at Caine before picking it up casually and putting it on top of the pile. It would have bothered her if it wasn't there. She returned to her original position near the ash pile that used to be a human and crossed her arms.

Poppy looked at Alex and shrugged. "I would really like to get out of here... Can we go for a walk? I do need some fresh air." Poppy tugged her thin cardigan around herself and shivered sub-conciously. They were standing near the door and Poppy was getting blasts of cold air every time someone opened the door.

Caine bared his teeth and growled when Sam moved. He was about to attack, thinking she was getting ready to as well, but when she put the can on top of the pile he frowned. This vampire was very strange. Caine was still trying to get over the fact that there was another vampire in this town. Hesitently Caine asked, "Are there others here? Do you have a coven? Or are you alone?"

"A coven wouldn't except me," Sam said with a small laugh. She eyed him cautiously as he bared his teeth. She could tell he didn't trust her, and he wasn't about to either. "So that means I am alone," She added sarcastically. "What about you?" She suddenly asked, looking around for others. She didn't think there would be others, but you could never be too cautious.

"I think that would make you even more cold but alright... Walk it is," Alex said with a grin. "Do you want my coat?" He asked her as he held the door open. He paused and looked at the clock above the bar, it was getting later, but nothing too late for a walk. Curfew wasn't for another few hours.

Caine stifled a grin. She couldn't get accepted into a coven? Caine had never tried, but he knew that his skills would be useful in a coven. "I'm alone too. Like it better that way." He nodded, almost to himself. He was still thirsty, and all this talking was going nowhere. "I need to go hunt. You can come too, but..." Caine sighed. Why did he have to ask? He started hoping she would say no.

Poppy smiled back. "Thanks, but I would rather you wear it. I'd feel guilty if you got sick because of my selfishness." She walked outside and then shivered uncontrollably. Dammit. She thought. Alex would have noticed that. She started walking down the street, not being able to tell where she was because of the darkness.

OoC: ugh, I used to be able to write such long posts. Dx But at the moment I just can't think of what to write.   I see you have a Harry Potter roleplay. Could we do a 1x1 or group HP roleplay? C: I love HP roleplays.

"But you don't want me to," Sam said with a small laugh. She raised an eyebrow at him, looking at the pile of ash on the ground. "Ahhh... The perks of working at a hospital," Sam teased, but more in a 'sucker, you have to actually hunt where I get my food for free!' type of tease. She felt a small breeze and watched as the ashes flew into the wind, making her gag slightly, feeling sorry for the human who inhaled that.

"I have a higher than average body temperature; so, it's fine if you take it... You actually need it." Alex said witha small grin. He shook out of his coat, and he draped it over Poppy's shoulders one she shivered. He shuck his hands into his pockets, walking along side his friend. He didn't know where he was going, and from the looks of it, neither did she.
