So, I'm looking for someone who will roleplay a vampire romance with me.

Plot

Maksis will be a vampire that's out in the early hours of the night. He'll stumble upon your charrie and we shall take it from there.

Easy plot. Yeah. So join.

.: The most prominent feature on Maks's face was his sweet smile, but that has been erased by his haunted green eyes. When he's thirsty, his eyes will burn red until he can satiate his thirst. When he is full and his thirst has been sated, his eyes take on their normal emerald green, but have a red ring circling around the iris, hinting his species. His brown hair is long and hangs in his eyes and natural blonde streaks highlight his hair. His complexion is pale, but not quite albino. :.

Maksis withdrew the shades on the windows to his shabby apartment. The light of the full moon shone through the window, giving the furniture in the room a soft glow. He pulled on a watch onto his right hand and checked the time. "Eight," he said softly to himself. His throat felt scratchy and he let out a gutteral cough as he spoke. I'm overdue. He thought glumly to himself before bursting into another fit of coughs. He closed the drapes to the window again, making sure they were secure. As he walked by his couch, he picked up a tan leather jacket and pulled it over his shoulders. The soft fabric of the material rubbed against his skin as he pushed open the door. He shoved the key to his apartment in his coat pocket and descended down the stairs, despising the crowded space of the elevator.

Once he reached the bottom floor, he opened up the door outside and set out toward the main center of town. There, he wouldn't arouse suspicion. The night life was famous there.

Calyx layed down on her couch and stared at the ceiling. Her stomach rumbled, though she didn't move. The walls seemed to move closer and closer to her, so she finally got off her lazy rump and headed for the refridgerator. She opened the door, a gust of cold air filling the room. She reached out a hand, grabing an almost-empty milk carton and swallowed the rest of it. Out, She sighed to herself. A yawn escaped her lips as she pulled on her thin jacket, grabbed a small piece of paper from a desk by the door, and left. She looked down and re read the list to herself. "Milk, Mac 'n cheese, Steak, pork and beans, chili, tacos." she said to herself. stuffing the paper in her pocket and rubbing her eyes.

She hated going to the center of the town, but she had to have her milk. And, to make it worst, it was dark. not to mention cold. Calyx wished she had brought a warmer jacket. "I'll buy one at the store," she said, hugging her elbows as she walked along the empty street. 

Cars pa.ssing by kicked up a few sharp gusts of wind that rustled Maksis's coat. The sharp bite of wind did not cause his body to tremble with cold. He did not feel the cold as humans did. He stuffed his hands in his pocket and kept his head bowed as he made his way toward the center of town. The streets became busier and though Maksis preferred solitude now, he yearned to belong with humans as he had before he had been bitten. With a small sigh, he found the market and walked through the automatic doors. Though he relied on the blood of humans to keep him alive, human food was still a necessity for maximum strength.

He picked up a basket to put the groceries in and began to walk around the mall, definitely not in a hurry. He found himself smiling as he pretended to fit back into human life and as he approached the isle for beef, he snatched a few tender looking sirloins. He grasped a wad of bills that were in his jacket pocket and paid for the food, the groceries only taking up a small bag. "Thank you. Have a nice night," he said to the worker and she gave him a sweet smile before departing.

Before he walked out the door, he dropped off a few boxes of rice and canned corn in a donation box to the needy. Feeling satisfied, he walked outside and headed toward the book store that was next to the Grocery Store. He set his bag down beside a small metal chair that was pulled up to an identically designed table ouside he book store.

The market came into sight, making Calyx sigh with relief. Atleast they had a heater. She rubbed her hands together, trying to warm up. A warm gyst of wind warmed her up as she pas.sed theough the automatic doors. "Thank God," she thought outloud. She found a basket and stuffed all her food into it. After she paid for it, she headed out, slightly sad to leave the warm building. Don't worry, Calyx, home is just a mile away, she thought, but it didn't help much. Her feet ahced, making her whimper. Damnit Calyx, you have no stamina. Lucky for her, there was a Book shore right beside the market. I'll rest here, she thought, quickly walking inside and sitting on one of the benches.

Maksis glanced up as a young girl, seemingly seventeen, walked out of the grocery store with a few bags in her hand. He glanced down at his own bag and shrugged off the fact that meat was in it. He would get it home before it rotted; the weather would keep it cool. As the girl pa.ssed him to sit outside, he realized she was wearing only a light shirt. With the sharp bite of the wind, she must be cold. He flicked his gaze around, looking for a possible ride picking her up. When he concluded she was alone, he grabbed his bags and approached her. Instead of pulling the chair out from the table, he set his bag down and grasped the back of the chair. "Excuse me, but is this seat taken?" He asked.

Calyx yawned, rotating her shoulders before stuffing her hands back into her pockets. She shivered, it just had to be cold on this day, dodn't it? She sighed to herself. She set her bags onto the ground and sneezed. She quickly grabbed a tissue. She turned her head to see a young man, handsome, approash her. "Err, no," Calyx answered.

Maksis smiled good naturedly at her hesitation and slid the chair out graciously. Not a noise was made as he settled into the chair. He frowned as she shivered and began to shrug off his jacket. Her sneeze made his lips turn up into a small smile as he folded the tan leather and handed it to her. A tight, gray undershirt revealed his wear and his muscles rippled underneath the fabric, but he payed no mind.

"Please wear this. The last thing you need is to get sick. So what are you doing out here at this time of night?" He asked, thoroughly intrigued. The girl was definitely not wearing the proper essentials to be out at this time of night when the sun could not warm her. She had obviously been to the grocery store as he cast a quick glance to her bags.
