Delaney let a quite laugh escape him as he saw Kirsty's cheeks redden, it had been a long time since he had that effect on a woman,

Jess began to feed Annabelle with a smile as she held her near and wrapped her up into her blanket trying to keep her warm and said "Don't little officer, you will be fine." as she smiled with a beautiful smile, one Mickey had not seen for ages.

Deigo looked down at Jenny and said "I wish I could have your kids one day, be a good father."

Kirsty blushed as she kissed him back. She leaned abit more into the kiss wanting it to never stop.

Annabelle stoped crying as she fed. When she finished she yawned before closing her eyes wanting to sleep but not before reaching her hand out reaching for where ever her mothers finger was.

Jenny looked at him and smiled. "I would love for you to be the father of my future kids" she said laughing.

Mickey beamed back at Jess then his eyes settled on his happily sleeping daughter, he felt huge surge of love fo the tiny bundle, he kissed Jess's hair,

"You are amazing, you both are," he told her, "I can't remember the last time I was this happy."

Delaney pulled Kirsty in to him, not breaking the kiss, thoughts of revenge far from his mind at that moment.

Kirsty kissed him back. She knew what she wanted and knew she wasn't going to let him go any time soon.

Jess gave Annabelle her finger when Deigo sneaked in and smirked as he held a gun and suddenly shot Jess in the chest before escaping back to his bed and said to Jenny "Come we must go!" as Jess slumped down fighting for life.

Mickey heard a shot from where he was stood in front of the water cooler, his instinct kicked it and he drew his gun and went running in the direction of the shot, he stopped dead when he saw it was Jess who had been shot, all he could see where medics.  Mickey grabbed the nearest doctor,

"What happened?" he demanded, "is Jess....."  Mickey stopped, tears running down his face.  The doctor shook his head,

"She's fighting for her life," he said, "another patient shot her."  Mickey shookhis head in disbelief,

"How could this have happened?" he asked no one in particular, his stomach knotted, all he could do was watch helplessly as the medics tried to save Jess, he looked around, "Annabelle," he gasped.

Jess woke up in a different place and her heard lurached as she saw her ex police officer partner and tears rolled down her face as she looked at him. She whispered out "I can't...I don't know what to do...." as she reached out to him and he said "Jess, listen, it's not time yet. Yes this is different to the Gold Coast but listen to me, Annabelle needs you and your new team needs you."

"But D, i need you. I fail at this job and I didn't even know that Deigo was in the hospital. A good police officer knows." Jess whispered using his nickname and he smiled "You will be a good police officer, you are still a youngster and this station is way different to Gold Coast and the australian."

 In earth, Jess was shaking hard and having fits and the bed was shaking while the doctors tried to save her.

Annabelle cried from where she was. (where ever that is XD) She heard the loud noise and it woke her up.

Jenny nodded before getting everything and running out. "Why couldn't you wait" She said to him sighing as they left the hospital.

Kirsty woke up and looked over at Delaney. "Are you ok?" She asked him not knowing why he was up and by the window.

(She is on the ground on the left side)

Suddenly there was beeping and Jess opened her eyes and screamed out "MICKEY"

Delaney turned to face her, he felt protective over her, even though he was reasonably sure she could look after herself, 

"Fine," he muttered, "just couldn't sleep, it's habit." Delaney went over too her at sat on the edge of the bed, he managed a wry smile, "I'm used to waking at dawn, when you're running it pays to be up earlier than the people who are hunting you."

Mickey scooped his daughter up as he heard her crying, more tears of relief rushed down his face, at least she was unhurt he noted, he held her in one arm, then he looked up and gripped Jess's hand as she suddenly came too and yelled his name,

"Jess, Jess, I'm here," he gasped.

Kirsty smiled at him and nodded. Suddenly she felt ill jumping up she ran to her bathroom and started to throw up. She didn't know why she felt so sick she was always one to stay healthy.

Delaney heard Kirsty throwing up, he frowned, she had been fine, he wondered if it had been something she had eaten or something more sinister.  Delaney looked up as she came out of the bathroom,

"What's wrong pet?" he asked genuinley worried, standing and walking over too her.

Kirsty looked at him. "i dont know" she said as she sat on the bed. "i just felt sick." she said holding her head in her hand wondering what was wrong with her. She then just thought had he worn protection she didn't know looking at him she asked him. "Did you wear protection when we did it?" she asked him wondering.

Annabelle reached her hands out feeling around for either her mummy's or daddys finger just to know that it was them holding her before she started to cry.

Delaney sat on the bed next to her, he shook his head silently,

"No," he said quietly, not sure how to react as the dawn of realisation set in.

Delaney rubbed his hands over his face and made a decision, he face Kirsty

"Either way, I'm not leaving you," he told her, he let a sigh out and added dryly, aware he was a wanted man,

"Well, not of my own free will anyhow."
