Delaney's eyes narrowed slightly, well maybe he could focus his vengence on something else,

"Why don't you tell me what happened pet?" he said quietly, "I don't like to see you this upset." Delaney kissed her red hair softly.

Deigo said "I would love kids but no-one will give me a chance to show that I could be a great father."

Jess looked up at Mickey and said "Yes?" as she looked at him as she leaned against into a chair.

Mickey's eyes went briefly to the collie, he let a half smile cross his face, then he focussed on Jess,

"I shouldn't have reacted that way, I deserved to be punched a lot harder after the way I've treated you," he said gently, he knelt down next to her chair, "I just want you to know that I am here for you now, I know I haven't been recently and I can't tell you how bad I feel about that."  Mickey let a frown cross his face and stopped, he didn't know what else to say, he just knew he had to keep his temper, even if Jess rejected him.

"I always there for you but the one time I need you, you run off. What about the baby in the stomach? She will need you too Mickey but you too wimpy to be there for us are you?" Jess demanded holding her stomach feeling a constraction.

Deigo said "I thought you loved someone else and couldn't never love me. I'm a complete idiot."

Delaney scowled darkly, he had been abused in the care homes, but it was nothing compared to what Kirsty had gone through, he wondered if she would be open to his next suggestion, he made it sound very casual,

"Do you want revenge pet?  You know I could help you there, it would take my mind of Mickey for once."

Mickey bit his tongue for a minute, he focussed momentarily on the dog befor ehe looked back at Jess, keeping his temper,

"If you don't think I'm up to it, I will leave if that's what you want.  I wanted to keep you out of danger, out of harms way."  Mickeys blue eyes went to her stomach, he let a soft smile cross his face, he didn't move from where he was, "Give me the chance to prove it Jess," he finished quietly.

Mickey reached out to Jess,

"Sweetie," he began concerned, "what is it, let me help you?"  Mickey kept his voice calm, he hoped Jess would trust him this once and give him a chance to help her.

Kirsty looked up at him. "I would but i don't know where they are anymore. They moved when I left home I think they left incase I called the police on them." She said to him sighing. The last she heared was they where a couple blocks over but she disn't know if they where still there.

Jenny looked at him. "The amount of time i spend talking and being around you and you thought i loved someone else? who would i love? Ive loved you for the longest time but you have always been obsessed with Jess" she said and said Jess' name as if it left a bad taste in her mouth.

Delaney smiled,

"Well I have a proven track record of hunting people down," he said evenly, he led Kirsty back too the couch and sat down, "I'll help you out pet when my legs are slightly better," he decided, he closed his eyes and added, "that is if you want me too." Delaney's hand went to the ragged bandages.

"Mickey, my waters broke. I am too tired, I can't push." Jess whispered clunging to him breathing hard and swallowed deeply as she laid there limply.

"You love me? I never been told that before." Deigo said and gave her a kiss.

Jenny blushed as she kissed him back. She sat on the bed next to him not leaning on his legs. She didn't want to cause him any pain.

Delaney watched her as she expertley bandaged his legs, he fingered the new bandages, then pulled her ontot the couch with him,

"You are quite something pet," he commented, then he smiled wolfishly, "I,m glad I didn't end up killing you."  Delaney sat back in the couch, "I'll get them for you," he promised, half glad to have his attention switched to something other than Mickey.

Mickey scooped Jess up into his arms,

"Jess remember the breathing techniques?  Breath," he said, trying not to panic, he didn't want to lose Jess or the baby, "I am goign to get you to hospital, remember to breath."  Mickey did the breatheing excercises with Jess as he half ran too the car.

"Mickey...Mickey I'm scared." Jess cried out as Hunter rushed them to the hospital where Sid Walker and the others were waiting. Tears rolled down her eyes as Jack Meadows and Smithy rushed to their side to help as well. Smithy and Jack promised to be at the birth.

Deigo smiled and said "Even if I love you doesnt mean we cant have fun and toture Jess right?" as he laid his head on Jenny's shoulder.

Mickey gripped Jess's hand,

"Don't be scared, everyone is here, you will be okay," he soothed, "I am not leaving your side."  Mickey yelled as Jess dug her nails into his hand and screamed, he managed a half laugh, 

"Well it's only fair I share your pain," he gasped.

Kirsty smiled at him before frowning "well I've had alot of pracitse" she said sadly. "after a beating it was only myself that could bandage my wounds." she said sighing "And i hope you do" She said quietly before falling asleep.

Jenny laughed and nodded. "Yeah we can still have fun" she laughed putting her head on his.
