Okiedokes, so I have a farily crappy basic plot here. XD

The earths science council have decided earth isn't big enough to explore anymore. Two [or three, four, etc, however many you like] poor lucky field agents are going to be sent to explore a distant planet, Xylon239, with all-new technology, that has a high fail success rate in the lab. The creatures they find there are to be photographed and documented, as are any plants that are out of the ordinary. It is doubted any intelligent life will be found, but should it be, it is to be captured and returned to earth.

[[Also, I just got this insane idea for a plot twist. D'you want the romance to be between the humans, or, one of us could make an alien and have it be part of a tribe on this planet. Like, the aliens aren't more advanced, but less-so, kind of avatar style. Only if you want it, though.]]

Appearance- Kira has a human figure, and is about five foot nine. Her arms and legs are a lot more slender than a humans, and her skin is patterned, similar to a snow leopards, with the base being a light lilac and the spots being blue and black. She has black hair, that reaches down to her waist, that she plaits to keep it out of the way. She wears fairly tribal style clothes, a soft, white, animal-skinned shirt, down to her stomach, and a shorts-type item of the same style and material to about half-way up her thigh. Her eyes are dark, with deep golden iris's and thick lashes raming them. Her lips are the same shape as a humans, without there being any difference in colour to the rest of her skin. Her feet are human sized and slightly darker than the rest of her, and she doesn't wear shoes.

Personality- ... I'm not sure how this is done with an alien... rp out?

Melanie smiled, buckling her seatbelt, pressing all the correct switches and buttons to seal off the rocket. Today was the day. Today was the day she followed her dreams, went into space, and went to another planet. The first to set foot on another planet. Maybe there would be aliens there, she thought. Not just aliens, but intelligent ones. Imagine the publicity for her, if she caught one and brought it back! She'd go down in history as the first person to captrue an alien!

Her and Del, of course. The man she loved. She'd tell him sometime soon, she decided. Her small, 5''3 frame fitted easily into her suit and into the seat, her long blonde hair tied in a ponytail under her helmet. She turned across to Del, smiling, before speaking, her voice slightly muffled under the helmet. ''Ready to make history, Del?'' She asked, her liht blue eyes fluttering at him. Her voice was soft and sweet, and she quickly looked back ahead as the countdown started.

[[That's fine. And do you live in the same timezone as Norway?]]

Del smiled back at Melanie, but she had already. He fingered his seat belt nervously. No, he was not ready at all. Sure, Del loved the thrill of discovering something no one else had ever seen, but at the same time, he wanted nothing more than to be at home in the Icelandic mountains. He gave out a small sigh, but it went unnoticed over the noise around them. Del glanced again at Melanie. She seemed excited, much more than Del was at least.

Melanie gave a small giggle under her helmet, as the ship blasted off. She was thrown back in her seat, though, and remained there for a few moments as the ship exited the earths atmosphere. Out of the red zone, she unbuckled her belt and walked over to the window. They were going on autopilot for another hour before she would need to do anything. Looking out, she motioned for Del to follow. She stared in awe at the beautiful earth behind them.

Del got up and stumbled, blinking in confusion. He felt a bit nauseous, and attempted to ignore the feeling. He walked, or at least tried to without falling or walking into anything, to the window. Del peered out at Earth. It was beautiful, but... But he preferred seeing in up close. Del didn't like how everything just looked so perfect everything looked, how untouched it seemed at first glance. After first glance, though, was another story. Looking closely, Del could see grey dots that he suspected were cities.

Smiling, Melanie turned to Del once more. ''It's beautiful, isn't it?'' She asked, a hint of awe in her voice. Shaking her head, she went back to her seat and sat down. It would be another couple of days until they reached their destination, so long as nothing went wrong. ''Hey, Del. We need to work out which shifts we're gonna take.'' She said, smiling at him with a twinkle in her eyes. She was pretty, but not overly so.
