Yakini was lounging under a dried out dead tree, enjoying the wind flowing over her pelt. So far she hadn't really done anything today, though she was planning to do something soon. Her stomach was twinging with hunger, seeming annoyed do to the lack of food. Soon enough Yakini was convinced and she rolled off her side and onto her paws, stretching and yawning with light growl. She shook herself, causing a cloud of dirt and grass fragments to float off her pelt.
She began to walk off in the direction of what was once a watering hole. There wasn't very much in the way of water now, but some tougher plants still managed to find something to drink under ground, and there was occasionally a gazelle or a zebra grazing there. Yakini's neutral ex
pression became a bit less neutral and a bit more unhappy as she realized that no one was there today. Maybe a few mice darting around but nothing worth the effort of catching. With a sigh she continued into it anyways. Maybe she could find some mice that she didn't have to chase down. Dead and diseased ones, for example.
