He didn't respond; reminding me that he didn't even know I was speaking. After another moment of silence, I got up and was just about to sit by the stool to talk to him again to see his eyes closed, sleeping. I rolled my eyes. "Never been better, Sanctus? Yeah. Right."
I pushed the hair out of his eyes once more, finding an odd liking to doing such before leaving him alone to let him rest.

[[o-o That's weird. Just yesterday I was thinking the same thing. I was driving home from school, and saw a car accident. Like I literally saw a woman dead on the street. She flew out of her car. :c It was so sad. It had happened just minutes before we passed by, and as we drove away, police were coming. Like, yeah. I was thinking about that too. o-o-o-o Creepy. ]

[[OMG LOL. Ty meant she was writing up next post, and that she'd give it in her next post. XD /isafailure/]] The days had gone by slowly, but eventually I'd convinced the doctors that I was more than well enough to go home.
One of the nurses, the same one that delighted in giving me lectures, insisted she drive me home, so I relented out of a desire to not be lectured to again. When I'd gotten home, it was around noon, and I opened the door. It was unlocked, as usual.
Walking inside, I realized why my dad hadn't locked it in an attempt to keep aliens away, and saw him passed out on the floor.
He stank of alcohol, as if that was a surprise, so I closed the door behind me and started trying to wake him up.
''Dad? You can't stay out here, you'll end up ill or something.''
Sighing at his lack of any response other than a groan, I awkwardly began trying to get him into his bedroom- upstairs.
After about twenty minutes, he was upstairs on his bed, and I was downstairs sat on the edge of mine.
I was now tired, but I gained my breath back after a few more minutes, and looked for my sketchpad. I'd left before Dawn arrived, so to stop her from worrying like she always did, I'd given one of the nurses a piece of paper with ym address written on it.
I doubted she would actually come over- hoped she wouldn't- but looked around for her jacket anyway, and stuck it in the washing machine once I'd found it.
After getting changed, I picked up my drawing pad and a few pencils, sat back on the bed, and started drawing.
