I smiled at her, glad she'd finally let it go and dropped it. She didn't seem to really want to, but I was glad she had. I didn't want to go into an explanation right then.
''Yeah, of course. I'm fine with whatever.'' I found it funny she had specific nights designated to meals, but it sounded like something I'd seen in a film once, and I guessed it was normal for most families.
She seemed nervous, though, even still; I had grown dependent upon my sight, and picked up on things most would miss. Like her playing with her fingers, fidgeting... Something was bothering her.
''Hey, you okay?'' I asked at last, wondering if it was something I'd done again.
