ACouple of hours later Kazumi woke up and looked around when she spotted Jett she couldn't help but smile at him thinking how cute he looked sleeping. She didn't know she started doing it but her hand started running through his hair playing with his ears and going back to stroking his head affectionately. She really did care about him a lot.

Jett's ears twitched and he moved closer to Kazumi in his sleep. After a little while he woke up and saw Kazumi running her fingers through his hair. He smiled then he lifted up and showed Kazumi what he drew. It was her sleeping nice and sound. He spent a good two hours drawing it.

Kazumi smiled at him. "Thats great Jett its really pretty" She said smiling more at him as her tail wagged sending pains up her spine. "Ouch. Guess i can't wag my tail for a while" She said smiling sadly at him.

Jett petted her hair and then licked her face. Jett backed away he was embarrassed.

Kazumi looked at him and blushed as she looked down a huge smile on her face. She leans over to him and licked his cheek back the blush still on her face as she smiled at him.

Jett smiled. "Let her go" he thought to himself. Jett finally was able to speak and he said "Kazumi, I am not really mute."

Kazumi looked at him shocked before tilting her head. "Why did you say you where? I'm not mad or anything but i'm just confused." She said to him as she moved over on her bed and patted her side to let him get on the bed with her.

Jett hopped on the bed. he sighed. he might as well tell her the full story. "There was this girl. Her name was Hana. She was kind and cute. She was the only person i could talk to without being nervous or make a fool out of myself with. Then one day we were in the car together. We were both 11 years old. A car ran a red light and we got into an accident. Hana's seat belt broke and she flew out the window. I was still strapped in. When I got out the car I saw her dead. From that day I didn't talk to anyone. I couldn't. It was too painful but you..you remind me of her." Jett explained.

Kazumi listened to him. "Did you love her?" She asked him her head tilted towards him. She wanted to care she didn't care how she reminded him of Hana but she just wanted to help him let go off her but to still be ok with remembering her, and as long as he didn't call her Hana she was ok with it all.

"I loved her very much. Seeing her that night was...is...painful." Jett said smiling sadly. Jett picked up the pop tart and handed it to Kazumi. "Here, I saved this for you" Jett says.

Kazumi looked at it and smiled."Thank you" She said licking his cheek as she took it off him and began to nibble on it. She began to wonder how long she had been here and how long she will be here. Heck any time away from her parents was a good thing.

"You're welcome" Jett said. Jett went from laying to sitting on the bed. He hung his head down low. When he went to speak to Kazumi he had no voice. He put his hands over his throat and kept trying to speak.

Kazumi sat up a bit and looked at Jett. "Are you ok?" She asked him worried about him and why he suddenly couldn't talk. "Whats wrong?" She asked her paw on his back as she tried to look at his face without hurting herself.

Jett wrote on the board that he could no longer speak but he will be okay. He grabbed his backpack and took a sip of his coke he didn't get to drink at lunch. He then handed the board to Kazumi.

Kazumi looked at it and nodded. "Oh ok. I hope you get your voice back." She said to him smiling blushing a bit when she thought about how cute his voice was. She was sad that he had lost his voice after finding out that he could talk all this time.

Jett whimpered.He was sad. How could he loose his voice? Hana. It's probably her. Jett looked at Kazumi. He grabbed his board and started to draw again. He didn't really have much to do.

Kazumi looked at Jett and put her head on his shoulder. "It will be ok Jett you wait and see." She said as she smiled up at him her tail giving the smallest wag it could without hurting.

Jett nuzzled into Kazumi's neck. He wrote on his board "Why don't you rest some more. I'll be fine on my own. I'll watch over you like a guardian angel. Not to be corny or anything, haha." then he handed it to Kazumi. he took another sip of his coke.

Kazumi looked up at him and nuzzled his neck back. "Ok but only if you be my pillow your really comfy." She said giggling as she nuzzled her head more letting out a purring noise as she started to close her eyes.

Jett adjusted himself on the bed. Jett nuzzled her and licked her forehead. He was shocked by his actions but then he rested his head on hers. Her fur smelled so nice and sweet. He watched her tummy rise and fall breathing in and out. Jett began to feel weary and closed his eyes as he drifted into sleep.
