Giving them a cheeky grin she said, “I’m called Alell.” Bounding into the water she chirped with laughter, “Do you like to swim?” What I really want to say is do you like to play, but that sounds too cub like. Besides his brother looks too protective to let me play with him, Paka I wonder if the name means anything. Scooping some water up with her paw she splashed Paka and Kottur before they could answer. “Alell!” shouted Ritsika, “Do you have no manners?!” Nearly growling under her breath she said, “Yes, I do but I seem to have lost them. Mother” Chuckling Paka must have heard the last part, and obviously Ritsika did too. Yowling, “Young lady, you should know be- AH!” Alell ran for the lake knowing that she would pay dearly for slashing Ristika in the face. Good thing she doesn’t like to swim often. Aljan twitched his tail at the humor of what just happened. Being gladly forgotten, he seemed more at ease with the new males since Alell seemed to like them. She always picks the noble at heart. I trust her judgment. Leaving the teens to play, Aljan went to find Asher and brief him on the news so he doesn’t accidentally kill the new ones. He may be old but he sure is a fighter and a great protector. ((Oops, I don’t know which one. Who were the mates already? I forgot. X3 ))

Alell pounced and played with the two new jaguars until she was exhausted, and so were they. That was fun. I haven’t had this much fun in a long time. Stretching her back by doing a bow motion, she looked for a spot to bask in the sun. Seeing Paka in her usual spot she huffed, what am I supposed to do know! Grinning she trotted over to the snoozing tom and head butted him in the belly, rolling his to the side and curled up in the space she just made. When Paka startled and looked at her, she simply stated, “This is my spot but unlike Ritsika or Asher I share.” Beaming at the tom, who was clearly uncomfortable with the close contact and not knowing what to do now, Alell rested her head on her paws and pretended not to notice. Silly tom, just relax, she thought. When she heard a growl she peeked her eye open to see Ritsika snarling at the sight and talking rapidly to Kottur. Ritsika didn’t like that Alell felt so comfortable with another so quickly, she loved the she-cat’s ability to be so open, caring and trusting. But that often made Ritsika over protective because she didn’t want anyone to abuse her. Honestly! She acts like a little cub! Giving a yowling chirp at Kottur she spat, “If he dares hurt her, neither of you will know the end of it!” The look in the tom’s eyes wasn’t anger at her words but understanding, he must be the older brother. Often protecting his younger one form harm, so that he might try and teach him how to enjoy life.

Kottur explained to Ritsika, "He wouldn't. He is harmless, well hes not, I mean he has claws and such, but if anyone in our family is violent it would be me." looking at the cheetah who looked a little bit nervous he added, "I don't attack with no reason, but try to harm me or one I love you could gt hurt." Paka turned to Allel and simply stated, "Thanks" He saw her smile and quickly turned away. How is this possible? Someone likes me? Not kottur! This is amazing. "So anything interesteing about you?" he asked Allel shyly

Ritsika felt a shiver crawl up her spine. I’ll bet you are the fierce one. And it seems to suit you too. Looking over at the now cuddling pair, Ritsika twitched her tail in annoyance. What a baby, she never could sleep alone. Glancing at Kottur, who seemed to be scouting out enemies, Ritsika felt a need to rea.ssure him. “You won’t find rogues here. Asher keeps them at bay; he’s our sort of leader though we don’t really have one. He’s just the oldest and wisest.” ((Fixed that darn consorted thing. I don't like those.))

Kottur nodded, "I see" yet he still kept his ears pricked just in case. He saw Ritsika's tail twittching and asked, "What's your deal?" when she looked confused he added, "I mean what's bothering you?" Paka felt as if her could look at her mttled fur forever. There was something about her that made him happy(awwwee) She's pretty, she's cute, plus she seems to like me. The thought to himself.

Alell fought that nagging of sleep, I don’t want to. I want to remember every moment of this. Who knows when I can do it again, Asher would eat him alive. I’m surprised that Ritsika hasn’t. Losing her train of thought, Alell sighed. Her whole body felt relaxed, everything looked like a dream, and her thoughts were a slow and thick as mola.sses. At last she fought it no more, submitting to the threat of sleep. She was more like placed into it unlike those who fall into it. Not even aware that she was purring. Ritsika held herself for a moment, listening to the breeze as it carried Alell’s purrs and Paka’s soft sighs, what gave me away? Thinking she noted that her tail was twitching in irritated motions, stopping its next sweep. “Nothing,” she stated, “Maybe a little nerved by your arrival still.” See him eye her with disbelief; she hated how he could read her so quickly. “I had a bad vision before you came. I’m still a little jumpy.” Ritsika replied tartly. Daring him to mock her for her silly heat spells, but she got neither as he watched at her intently as if she were suddenly more fascinating.

"Really? That happens to me alot. I haven't ad a dream or nightmare like that in moons" kottur chirped. He sighed and pulled himself onto a ledge in the shade, "Man this sun is hot." he said. Then muttering under his breath he added, knowing Ritsika would hear, "My dark pelt doesn't help any." Paka looked over at Alell who was sleeping soundly beside him and closed his eyes, hoping he would be as lucky. He laid his head on his paws and sleep wafted over him.

Ritsika was genuinely astonished to hear of another cat that could have visions, let alone be talking to another. “Really and truly?” she asked not trusting him because of too many times being teased. When he gave her a good stare down she knew that he wasn’t pulling her tail. “May I talk to you about my dream then?” she asked gently. Don’t set yourself up! In the end he may still laugh at you and blame your wild dreams on the heat of sun high. Suddenly in no mood to share she stopped him before he could answer. “Um, didn’t you say you were hot? Follow me, and don’t worry about them we can see them from where we will be, it’s a nice cool spot. Trotting up and over to the waterfall, Ritsika glanced back to see him following. Silly baboon-brain! You almost gave him something personal that not even Aljan knows about. I mean look how Aljan acted when you told him one of your dreams, this stranger would be no better. Walking behind the waterfall and out the other side, there was a small damp cave that was a great look out or resting place. Sitting by the edge she looked down, naïve Alell thinks I fear the water but I really do love it but not as much as her teasing me. So Ritsika lets her taunt and tease and rush to the “safety” of the water. When really she was holding herself back from jumping down into smooth ripples of the lake, it was deep here at this spot. Ritsika’s fur ruffled when Kottur sat behind her instead of next to her. Not trusting him at her back she turned and sat beside him, with one last longing look at the jumping spot that was an exhilarating rush if taken. “Is this better for you, Kottur?” she asked silently in the damp air.

"Much" he rumbled, "So, do you want to talk about your dream? I mean, usually me and Paka talk about our dreams, because it always happened to us" sighing he added, "Usually we got the same dream, because well, I know I couldn't survive without him, we always have the same dream, he's my brother, my twin"

Ritsika knew how important Paka must be to Kottur because in the Savannahs harsh way of life, twins don’t often survive. Survival of the fittest is practiced daily, she thought. Shifting her weight from one foot to another she looked about uncertainly finally saying, “Do you really want to know? If you use this against me, I won’t have any mercy on attacking you because that’s who I am. I fight for the top and I’m sitting as close as I can from it now. Only Asher is above me and maybe Spirit but I’m the female that talks for our group.” Stopping her nervous habits before they got too noticeable she continued, “And I think I want to hear one of your dreams first so I know you’re not yanking my tail.”

"Yes, I really do want to know" he spoke solemmnly, "Heres my story, this was back when we lived in the rainforest. I had a dream that me and Paka were slinking throught the undergrowth, there was something following us, but we couldn't tell what it was. We could hear it following us, but we couldn't scent it or see it."
