Kottur was somewhat upset with Aljan for ruining the Hallmark moment, "I'm sorry, but may I ask what your name is?" he slightly growled. Paka looked at his brother in shock, He's not usually angered that easily. He sighed and meowed, "Excuse my brother, but he is too impatient to be polite"

Ritsika actually chirped with laughter when Kottur gave Aljan a menacing glare. Who burst his bubble? Seeing that Aljan was enjoying Kottur’s discomfort, she supplied, “Kottur, Paka this is Aljan.” Giving Aljan a glare of her own her said, “And Aljan behave!” When Aljan dipped his head in an “I will!” Ritsika cuffed him about the ears. “But this cat is right,” she chirped, “We should be leaving.” Looking at Kottur, she smiled while saying, “Lead they way.” Hearing Aljan whisper, oh wise one; Ritsika stepped on his paw with her un-retractable claws. Aljan yowled, “Hey!” Swishing her tail innocently, Ritsika looked at Kottur and said, “My bad.” Alell had never seen Ritsika like this, what is she? A love struck cub! Rolling her eyes at Paka, Alell made a gagging face that made his stifle a laugh. Walking close she barely breathed, “Wouldn’t want the claw stomper to hear you, now would you?” Both of them laughed at that and when Ritsika eyed them curiously Alell straightened and pointed her tail at Paka. “He said it, not me.” She yowled quickly, “I swear!” Beaming at Paka when Ritsika gave him the evil eye, Alell giggled, “What? She would have taken my fur out!”

Paka snickered before Ritsika galred and swatted Alell lightly with his paw, "Thanks for that"he whispered a hard tone to his voice, but laughter in his eyes. Kottur nodded and led the group at a swift pace.

Ritsika enjoyed the pace, stretching out her legs in a smooth lope. Unlike my vigorous sprints, this is relaxing. But she loved the feel of speed and agility once in a while, that's why she normally hunted alone. "How far will we get before nighfall comes?" she asked.

Kottur pondered that thought for a whilee, "Probably to the next waterfall." he looked at Paka questioningly, "Right?" Paka nodded and meowed loud enough for everyone to hear, "He may be strong and brave, but he doesn't have the best memory" He smirked and saw his brother frown.

Alell roared with laughter, "That sounds like Ritsika! She might have good hearing but her memory is that of a worthog!" After some time, Alell began to breath a bit heavily. My fur is too thick for this sun. I wish I could shread it all of...but it's so beautiful. Looking down at her silver paws, Alell remember Aljan saying that her mother had the same pelt. "You at the reflected image of your mother." I wish I could have met her. Glancing over at Ritsika, trotting by Kottur, her gaze drifted to Paka's. Smiling at him, she faked a yawn. Wouldn't want them to stop because of me.

"Are you tired?" paka asked her, "Do you need to stop?" Stretching his back he added, "Because we can stop if you would like, I used to live where these beasts are. I know how to get there"

Alell blinked at him thankfully, but said, "No. I can last." Keeping their swift jog she looked over at Paka, who was eyeing her. Wrinkling her nose and crossing her eyes Alell hoped that distracted him. I am tired but I don't want to stop. I so excited!

Ritsika looked over her shoulder and saw Paka and Alell talking, briefly. Alell looks tired and knowing her, she won’t say a thing. About to ask Kottur if the could make den, Ritsika tripped over the new terrain. Much softer than the drought-drained dirt of the savannah, it cushioned her every step, making it harder and harder for Ritsika to make her next step. The ground had lush olive-green gr*censored* that was shocking compared to the golden-brown reeds that she knew. Even the smells were different. Where the savannah had sharp, crisp and dry air; this place had sweet-musky damp air that Ritsika couldn’t seem to get enough of. “Kottur,” she huffed, “What is this place?” Jumping when a baboon screeched over head, no, that’s not the call of a baboon, but what is it? Looking over head she gaped, the canopy was flourishing with many leaves of so many shades of green. There were flowers too, in abundant colors; topaz, emeralds, sapphires and rubies. A bird swooped at her and she chirped in surprise, “Hey!” Does it not know that I will eat it! Glaring after it Ritsika soon realized that she wouldn’t be eating that bird. The green, gray and orange parrot flew into a great flock of others. Not only could she not see which one was which, but they were in the high treetops. I’ve never seen such a place, she thought. Craning her neck back she tried to see through the trees to the sky but it wasn’t there. Looking back over her shoulder, Ritsika saw the dull gold-brown of the savannah. Turning back, Ritsika chirped again when a great leaf whacked her in the face. I’ve never seen a fern leaf this large! The whole bush was larger than herself. I wonder what kind of prey lives here. Looking to Kottur, Ritsika tried to savage her lost dignity.

Kottur chirped wiith laughter watrching Ritsika in the new terrain. Raising his head he roared, "Lets stop here for the night. Most of us are getting tired," he added looking at Alell, "And it is still a while until we reach the beasts." PAka noddded and prowled under one of the huge bushes. Arriving from underneath he had a bunch of moss. Placing iot among the rocks on the ground he turned to Alell, "You want some?"

Alell was just as dazed as Ritsika with the new territory. Creatures actually live here? Jumping when Paka asked, “You want some?” Alell felt her entire pelt puff in fright. Poking at the fluff of brilliant olive-green gr*censored*, Alell mewed quietly, “It won’t eat me will it?” The stuff was strangely soft and inviting. I don’t know what any of these things are! Everything is so new, and green! Like nothing I’ve seen before.

Paka laughed and the moss fell out of his mouth, "Of course not! It's just moss. It's soft, you sleep on it. Don't ttell me you've never seen it before?"

Still as fluffy as a cub, Alell murmured, "no." Holding her head high, like a cautious cat, Alell poked a piece with one forepaw. The whole green blob squished under the pressure and was quite soft. Why don’t we have these things! Her ears perked as she kneaded the moss with both paws. “Paka this is so soft! It’s like another cats pelt but…not!” She nearly roared in excitement. Looking at him with a sparkle of joy in her eyes Alell asked, “May I have some?”
