((Awesome rain and alcohol. They're gonna get totally wasted ^^))
Jethro nodded and stood up. "Good idea." he said though he peered up at the dark clouds. How did they not notice before? He sighed and started walking alomg the beach keeping his eyes out for anything. He squinted when he noticed something a few feet away lodged in the sand. "Hey do you see that?" he asked, hurrying towards the thing. When he neared a grin spread across his face, deep dimples showing in his cheeks. He bent down to pick up the bottle. "Check this Cupcake, premium Russian vodka and not the cheap stuff!" He stared at the clear liquid in the bottle.
He looked as excited as a kid on Christmas. He was about to move when he felt his foot kick something under the surface of the sand. He raised an eyebrow and looked down to yet another bottle of alcohol, this one bigger in size. He grinned once more and bent to pull it out of the sand. He blew the lable and tried not to look disappointed. "White wine. I bet the whole alcohol cooler is here." he said kicking the sand with his foot. "Listen here Cupcake tonight I am going to drink, and I don't care if you join me." He smiled before tossing her the bottle of wine. "Though you had better."

Oh, no way, was Iris's first thought when Jethro informed her he was going to drink tonight. Russian Vodka. Great. "God damn, you better not do anything Jethro," she muttered under her breath and out of reflex, caught what was coming at her before she even heard Jethro say what it was. She stared down at the bottle, the liquid sloshing around a bit inside as she brought it up to her eyes. Jethro's words finally registered in her mind as she eyed the white wine.
"You know what?" she said as she wrapped her fingers around the neck of the bottle. "I almost f-cking died today," she said and waved the bottle to Jethro. "So god damn it, I'll drink." She felt more rain splatter on her dark hair and pointed back toward the bluff with a finger from her free hand. "We'll toast when we get back to the bluffs," she said and waved Jethro over so she could head back to their "home".

A big grin spread across his face. "Alright, way to lighten up Cupcake." He said coming up behind her and giving her a clap on the back. He did it lighter than he would hit his guy friends. He flashed he a smile once more before hurrying ahead of her, feet digging into the wetter sand.
When he made it to the cave he shook his head. He was already wet and his shirt was sticking too his body. He scanned his 'room' and saw his grey sweater on the floor. He shook his hair out once more and peeled the shirt of his skin, before quickly pulling on the grey hoodie. Paying no mind to whether the girl was inside with him or not.
He looked back around the room for his bottle and grunted as he twisted off the lid. "Oh yeah." His eyes brightened with glee. "Ready Cupcake." He said turning around to face her.

Iris walked back into the cave in time to see Jethro pulling on one of the sweatshirts he'd either found on the island or had ended up with it when they'd shipwrecked. She averted her green gaze and only glanced back up when he asked her if she was ready. The white wine in her hand wasn't as enticing as the vodka and she didn't feel like figuring out how to get the cork out anyway, so she settled that into the corner of the room and made her way over to Jethro, grin stretched up on her face, though it wasn't as exuberant as Jethro's.
"Whenever you are, Detective," she said as she cocked one brow upward and watched him, seriously hoping she wasn't doing anything she was going to regret.

Jethro grinned and raised the vodka, pausing when he saw her put down the wine bottle. He raised an eyebrow surprised, she wanted the hard stuff, kid had balls, metaphorically. He grinned and handed her the bottle. "Lady's first." He smiled. "And don't chicken out, take a good long swig."

Instead of replying to Jethro, Iris raised her brow up higher and swung her arm out to melodramatically snatch the bottle from his hand. In the same sweeping motion--she really only wanted to do it quickly so she wouldn't chicken out--she tilted her chin up and pressed the rim of the bottle to her lips. The vodka burned like liquid fire as it went down her throat, but she forced a gulp and possibly what could be called a half before bringing the bottle back down and eyeing Jethro. "Damn," she managed and held the bottle out for Jethro.
"Don't chicken out," she said and attempted to bl
ink away the black fuzz that had accumulated in the corner of her vision. "Or drink it all," she added.

((Sorry for taking s long.))rnrn"Alright Iris!" Jethro cheered when he took the bottle from her, clapping her on the back once more. He raised the bottle to his mouth and took a big swig. Enjoying the burning liquid rushing down his throat. He pulled the bottle down and blinked, he had drank to much as once and his vision blurred momentarily. He shook head and ran his fingers through his black hair. "Whoo." He said looking down at the bottle lable. "That's good stuff." He grinned and turned his eyes back to Iris. "C'mon girlie, take another hit." He thrusted the bottle towards her. "Bet you can't drink me shot for shot."rnrn((Also, what time is? Night or Day? I don't remember XP))

She took another swig, closing her eyes to fight off the slight dizziness that was making her feel a bit unsteady, and focused on the liquid fire that flowed down her gullet. The vodka coiled in her stomach and spread warmth throughout her body and Iris blinked open her eyes and thrust the bottle to Jethro, leaning against him slightly as she did. He chuckled at the obvious fact that she was already getting drunk. He raised the bottle to his lips and swung some back. If Iris hadn't already been on her way to getting drunk, she would have recognized the meaning behind Jethro stiffening. She barely noticed it at all and only kept her eyes trained on the tip of the bottle as he brought it to his lips. "Let's see what you got Cupcake." Iris gave Jethro a crooked smile and thought only one more rational thought before she guzzled more of the contents of the bottle: I am so going to regret this. The liquid burned down her throat again and the room continued to sway even more around her, reminding her of the ship they'd been on before. She growled at the real world leaking through her thoughts and dared another sip, happy when the troubles slipped away from her again.
"One more sip for you," she said slowly as she pushed the bottle against Jethro's chest again. "And one more for me," she finished, hiccuping at the end.

Jethro grinned when the girl drunkenly put the bottle to her lips, they had really only taken three sips and she was already like this. When she put the bottle down he was about to take it when she surprised him and brought i back to her lips. He raised an eyebrow his smile growing wider.rn rn"One more sip for you," she said shoving the bottle to his chest. "And one more for me,"rn rnHe chuckled slightly when she hiccuped. "Oh you're so cute." He grinned taking the bottle from her and bringing it to his lips. This was going to be an interesting night, he thought as he felt liquid rush down his throat. The bite of the burn no longer there. He was getting used to it. He lowered the bottle and blinked as his vision swam momentarily. He looked down and moved the bottle back towards Iris. "Getting drunk yet kid?"

"I am not a kid," she said and worked a little bit to turn her smile into a pouty frown. Iris reached for the bottle again and downed another gulp of the fiery liquid. She almost coughed and would have resulted in spraying it over Jethro, but greedily swallowed it and swayed there on the spot. Iris wasn't a petite body type, but she almost never drank and this was taking its toll on her. "I want to see you drunk," she slurred and pushed the bottle against his chest yet again, though some of her body followed the momentum, arms gracing Jethro's shirt. "Bet you won't drink the rest," she managed.

He placed a hand on her back when she coughed, side stepping slihgtly incase she decided the spew the liquid onto her. She didn't and she managed to suck it back down. He kept his hand on her back when she just stood there and swayed on the spot. He moved his hand and looked at her when she shoved the bottle towards him. "I want to see you drunk." She slurred, causing him to grin and raise and eyebrow. Her arms slid across his shirt and he shook his head. "Bet you won't drink the rest."rn rnHe took the bottle from her hand. "Man are you drunk." He said, but he wasn't one to back down from a challenge. "You got it Cupcake." He said raising the bottle to his mouth. He chugged the remaining clear liquid. It went down easily, but his throat burned and he was sure he felt it travel all the way to his stomach. He moved the bottle from his mouth and his vision swam. He stumbled for a moment and dropped the bottle, it landed on the piled of clothes he had taken, so it didn't break. His eyes watered and he grabbed onto Iris's shoulders to steady himself. Once the room stopped spinning he looked up at her and smiled. "Good Lord, I must be drunkerr than you are." He slurred and he began to laugh. He was definately going to regret downing that entire bottle. He looked down and blinked a few time before looking back up. "Happy now Cupcake?"rn

Iris flashed a crooked grin and laughed at jethro's question. The alcohol was still spreading through her, making her vision blurrier and her feet unsteadier. "We are so going to regret this," she barked out and erupted into another fit of laughter. "So 'tective, now we're drunk," she said slowly, trying to make the words coherent which resulted in a goofy grin and a few more chuckles. "What do /you/ do when you're drunk?" she said and arched her brows, leaning against him again in another unspoken challenge.

He slurred leaning in slightly, so he was a few inches away from her. "Depends on who I'm with." He dropped his hand from her shoulder and let his fingers run down her arm for a minute, before looking back up. "So Cupcake, what do /you/ plan on doing?" He wasn't about to lean in any closer, in case he happened to be reading the situation wrong. It wouldn't have been the first time he'd drunkenly kissed someone, and he didn't exactly feel like being punched in the face. Plus, Iris didn't seem to pay any attention to him before, but that didn't stop his growing attraction to her. He looked into her green eyes expectantly, wondering what she was going to do.rn

"Who you're with," Iris repeated and realized how close Jethro had come to her; she could smell the remnants of vodka on his breath. But there was something else too, a woodsy warm scent that made her bl ink. Rational thought was far gone from Iris's mind and she rested her palms on Jethro's chest just to steady herself as she swayed again, but she let her hands stay as the dizzy spell passed. Her conscious, meak and barely able to voice good judgement to Iris anymore, gave off little warning bells as Iris grinned up at Jethro again. It was a tinny ringing that was easily ignored.
"What am I going to do?" she muttered and God forbid her, she giggled. Iris brought one hand up from Jethro's chest and she ran one finger down his jawline and drew his lips to hers, tasting the alcohol on his breath and that natural scent he gave off. She was drunk so the kiss was a bit sloppy, but for the amount of alcohol she'd downed, it wasn't half bad. Iris's lips curled up against his, chest pressing against his when she found it hard to stop the room from spinning.

A look of concern passed on his face for a moment before she reached up and traced her finger down his jawline. It was the moment he had been waiting for when she closed the inches between them. He smiled slightly when he felt her mouth on his before returning the kiss. He slipped his hand from her shoulder and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him. It was a sloppy kiss yes, but they were drunk and the room was spinning as if they were on a runaway merry-go-round. Considering all that, it was pretty good.rn rnHe pulled away for a moment when he got hit with a wave of dizziness. He blinked and looked at her. "Well Iris, look at the two of us. Drunk, and kissing in a cave. Isn't how you'd always dreamed it'd be?" He slurred, chuckling slightly. He found it hard to beleive what was going on. To think a few days ago they were at eachothers throats. He grinned again, he wanted to close the gap again, but he felt as if the normal sensible Iris would come out any moment and punch him. "Too drunk to care what I was thinking," Iris said, stumbling over most of the words and ending in another few giggles. The cave room was twisting and spinning faster than she could keep up and her fingers tightened on Jethro's shoulders. Iris pushed Jethro back against the cave wall, though only so she could find steady ground. "God damn, I'm drunk," she muttered and blinked. She tilted her head back and took Jethro into another kiss, eyes closing again and another wave of dizziness coursing through her. Before her lips could part and she could snake her tongue into his mouth, she broke the kiss to steady herself again. Iris pointed toward the ground as more blackness crowded her vision.
