He quickly straightened up as he felt the vodka rushing back up his throat. He swallowed the hot liquid and his throat burned all over again, this time the burn was note a nice feeling. He grunted and rubbed his eyes tiredly and sat down on the ground, a little ways from her.rnrn

He looked over at her form before shifting over some more, in case she yelled at him when she woke up in the morning. He looked back out at the rain that had turned into a slight drizzle. He sighed and laid on his back and stared at the ceiling until it went dark.rnrn

Jethro woke up in the morning his head pounding. He groan when he opened his eyes and the light nearly blinded him. He sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes and yawned. Last night had been pretty foggy. He remembered finding the bottle of vodka. He opened his eyes and checked himself. He had his clothes on, he looked over at Iris, who was still dressed. So nothing bad had happened, but then again fooling around was never a bad thing. Jethro grinned at the thought and laid himself back down on the cold floor. Trying to remember anything the else, the last thing coming to his mind was being shoved up against a wall Iris's lips over his. He blinked, that couldn't have right. He looked over at her still sleeping form, watching his body rise and fall with her breathing.rnrn

He turned his eyes back to the ceiling before getting up again, nearly falling when he got hit with a wave of dizziness. He shook his head and walked outside, the sun seeming brighter than ever. He groaned again and sat himself on the sand and stared out at the sea, eyes squinted to help block some of the sunlight.rn

Jethro nearly jumped sky high when the mango came flying at him. He looked over at Iris, who had just asked him for a knife. He put a finger in front of his lips, motioning her to be quiet before rubbing his temples. He hoped the girl wouldn't find the action rude, but his felt as if someone had kicked him in the head when he heard her voice.rnrn

He reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the knife and pasted it to her before looking down at the mango on his lap. He rubbed his temples once more he looked over at Iris. "Sorry." He said, looking back at his mango. His eyes resting on the greenish fruit until the shape blurred. He looked back at Iris as she cut her fruit, before chuckling. "I feel like sh-t"rnrn

He wondered if he should bring up what had go on last night. Maybe Iris didn't even remember what had happened. Iris probably didn't like him. They were at eachothers throats tha first time they met, swore at eachother multiple time. Words that weren't the best. Iris didn't care anything for him, that was just the alcohol speaking. He wondered if it was the same in his case. Maybe it was just the alcohol in his system that had made him kiss her back. He turned his attention back to her, and studied her for a moment. Her hair was uncombed, but he still kinda found her pretty. Not to mention, she was the only girl who dished back all his garbage right back at him.

Jethro reached over for the knife when she threw it down. Wipping the sand and juice on his jeans. Once he felt it clean he sliced it into his own mango with ease. He cut it close and sucked the sweet fruit from the skin. It felt nice to actually be eating something for once. He felt some juice dribbled out and his tongue darted out his mouth the lick it before he wipped the rest away with the back og his hand.

"We'll just forget about last night. I made a mistake and have this damn headache to prove it. So eat your mango and we're going to see if we can do something useful,"

There was no mistaking the irritation in her voice, and Jethro nearly choked on the fruit he was eating. He looked over eyebrows raised, he looked down at the seed of the fruit. He had just eaten everything in less then twenty seconds. His mind flickered back to last night and he licked the juice on the blade, being careful to run his tongue along the blunt side. He wipped it on his pants again before picking up the skins. "Already forgotten kid." He said not bothering to look at her as he got up and walked away to go bury his skins.

She didn't need to be rude about. She could have just pretended it had never happened, that was what he had planned on doing. He moved the dirt wiith his foot and dropped his garbage into the little pit. "You can put yours here too." He called to Iris, leaning against the nearest tree. When she was close enough he opened his mouth to speak again. "What's on the adgenda?"

Jethro raised an eyebrow when she said she wanted to looked at wildlife, he kept his mouth shut thought as he trailed after her. Watching her carefully, he knew he should of asked her if she needed to sit down or something, but he had just been rude to her, and he didn't exactly forgive her for what she had said to him on the beach so he just kept quiet. His eyes trailing on the ground as he stepped over any roots or around dung.rnrn

The man sighed and rubbed his temple, his headache was now a dull buzz, but it was annoying. He could only imagin what Iris was going hrough seeing as he was sure she had never drank before. Though by her age, and if his memory served right she was in college. Didn't college girls party like crazy?rnrn

He rubbed his temples and shook the thought from his head. Nah, she seemed like a good kid. He sighed, this was pointless. He stopped for a moment. "Iris, what are we doine?" He sighed, scratching at his chin, noticing that dark stuble was now starting to come through. " We don't have binoculars(sp?) or a guide book. We're not a married couple on their honeymoon. We don't need to be parading around the forest sight seeing." He looked up at her, expecting whatver sh-t was coming his way.

Jethro flinched at her outburst. "I never said that." he muttered before throwing his hands up in defeat and turned around and rubbed his temples. He was going to leave, obviously she didn't want him here. He cringed when he heard the shrieks of birds, how he hated the creatures. rnrn

He had gotten a good few meters away when he Iris scream. He turned and saw her back against a tree, clutching her arm. He rushed over crouching down so that he was at her level. "What the hell did you do now Cupcake?" he said touching her arm lightly with his fingers. He looked away from her arm and a bloody mess near her, a snake. He looked over at her and smiled slightly, trying to lighten the mood. "You know, snakes seem like you. Ever thought of becoming a snake charmer?"rnrnHe looked back at her arm, placing his fingers ontop of her hand. "C'mon, let me see it. Tell me what I need to do."rnrn((Its alright, Jethro had a fail reaction though. Probably because im so tired XP))

Though, I actually can't think of anything smart to type of Jethro's half, thats actually true to his character. Once he was was too rude, a couple other I made him overly sweet and scared myself 0.o''rnrn

Got any ideas? I should be on next week with my regualr pre-exam schedual, which is everyday, unless for some reason i decide to actually do my homework XD))
