Markus eyes widened slightly, and his face took on a worried ex
pression. Why in the hell was she laughing? Shaking his head a little, he chose to ignore it, and instead continued in what he was doing. Why had she randomly started laughing?

Kirsty looked up at him after feeling him shake his head. "It was just growing up i was told angels where spirits that watched over people so i wasn't expecting you to have a heartbeat." She said to him before laying her head back on his chest. "I'm glad you do though. It means you have a heart so you can feel." She said to him a small smile on her face. ((question why does everyone thing feelings comes from the heart? like love? you think of love you think of a heart why?)) |

Markus laughed slightly at that. It wasn't a mean laugh, but not a very humoured one either. ''Well, feelings don't come from the heart, just to let you know. They come from the mind. But yeah, even angels feel things.'' He said, a ghost of a smile at his lips, his eyes staring intently into hers.

Kirsty smiled up at him happily. She was glad he had feeling unlike Castiel from supernatural who said all angels are not meant to feel emotions. Kirsty leaned up and kissed his cheek again." Thank you for making me feel better" She said to him smiling. She knew that a kiss on the cheek wouldn't mean anything and if kissing his lips got him in trouble hopefully kissing his cheek wouldn't.

''Uh... anytime.'' Markus said, his cheeks suddenly flushing. Why was he blushing? It was just a kiss on the cheek. He was going against his very nature by blushing. Looking down, he realized she was still sat on his lap. Oh well. His hands were still behind her, loosely resting on his knees.

Kirsty looked up at him and gasped. "Are you sick?" She asked him scared, she didn't want him sicker then when he was before it had scared her to no end that she couldn't help him.

Kirsty relaxed a bit. "I thought you where sick your face was all red and hot" She told him tilting her head a bit as she watched him turn his normal colour. She didn't understand why he was red then turned back normal.

Kirsty looked at him confused. "Well if your not sick thats all that matters" She said smiling as she looked around the room. "Wheres Rosie?" She asked him as she looked around for her cat.
Rosie was by the back door. She felt that now that Kirsty had someone else she didn't need her anymore and could go on to another life. She was old and her time was coming short, she may of loved her owner but she knew no matter what she couldn't stay on this earth any longer and only wished Kirsty the best of luck. She closed her eyes and drifted into a sleep she knew she would never wake up from, but she wasn't scared she was only scared that Kirsty would be left on her own but she knew she would try to be with her in spirit so she would never be alone.

Markus shuddered slightly, as he felt the presence of... death. Closing his eyes and breathing deeply, he looked back into Kirsty's eyes, not sure how to tell her. ''Uh, Kirsty... Rosie was old, and I... uh... just felt something... passing. I'm sorry, I really am...'' He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, in anticipation of the tears that would surely come.

Kirsty pulled back from him and looked into his eyes. "No. Shes not dead she might be old but she still has a lot of life in her. Your lying." She said before getting out of his arms and running around the house shouting for Rosie. She soon came to the back door and there was Rosie. She fell to her knees and touched Rosie waiting to feel her breath or for her to purr at her like she would normally do when she has been just woken up. After not feeling anything she started crying "no Rosie why did you die? why?" She cried into her hands her heart breaking, she loved Rosie and felt like apart of her was dead with the loss of her beloved pet.

Markus followed her slowly, standing behind her as she discovered that what he had said was, indeed, true. ''Kirsty...'' He mumbled, kneeling down next to her and wrapping his arms around her into a tight bear hug. He held her and tried to calm her, making soothing sounds and stroking her hair. He looked at the cat, and was sorry it was snowing. It would make it very difficult for him to dig a grave. He would do it as soon as he had calmed her, and would stay outside until it was good and deep and Rosie wouldn't be dug up by wild animals.

Kirsty hugged Markus tightly. "Why?" She mumbled while sobbing, she wanted to know why Rosie had died now it was only before that she was running around happily why did she suddenly die now? Kirsty sobbed more and more knowing it would take a long time if ever that she would get over the loss of Rosie.

Markus continued stroking her hair, as he picked her up and walked over to the couch. He sat down on the edge of it, with her on his lap, still making soothing noises, trying to calm down Kirsty. He knew perfectly well why the cat had died, but didn't want to tell her that she chose to go. It would break her heart.

Kirsty continued to cry in Markus' lap. With Rosie gone all she had was Markus but she had a feeling that he would leave her when the blizzard pas.sed. She didn't know what she would do after that she would be alone and she was afraid of being alone it was her biggest fear and she knew she would go into a depression when she was alone.

He knew she loved that cat. It was the only thing that hadn't taken advantage of her... and now it was dead. Oh great. Looked like he wouldn't be leaving after this blizzard, after all.

Kirsty shrugged. She didn't know if she would be ok. She felt like she was missing a big part of her and didn't know if she would get it back. She wished that Rosie hadn't died because she knew once Markus leaves her she would be back alone like she had been before she had saved Rosie and she felt like she couldn't go back to feeling that alone not when she knows what it feels like to be loved even if it was by a cat.
