''Seeds and nuts, mostly.'' He replied, opening the back door again. He lifted his head high and smelt the wind again, sensing a blizzard coming. Closing the door, he turned to Kirsty. ''There's a snow storm coming, by the way. A bad one at that.'' He said, trying not to alarm her. Or appear alarmed. He didn't like snow storms. He couldn't fly very well in them. [[Sorry again! ;~;]]

((its ok haha)) Kirsty looked at him and nodded. "Ok just means that i will have to make sure we have enough wood." She said to him putting the seeds in a bowl and putting the bird on the rim of the bowl to eat. She looked at Markus and smiled at him before walking outside and colecting alot of wood.

''Hey, let me do that.'' He said, picking up large armfulls and flitting back to her house quickly, dropping it all against the door, before flitting back to repeat the proess. He wondered how he'd cope, being stuck in a human house with nothing to do for days, if not a week.

Kirsty smiled and brought in some more before looking at the amount of wood. "I think that would be enough." She said to him smiling. She looked around thinking about what they would need if there was a blizzard comeing. After noting everything she knew that they had all they would need and then looked at the bird. "Does he want to stay with us or does he have a home?" She asked Markus worried that the bird had a home and wouldn't be able to get to it.

Making a few small chirping noises, Markus replied, ''His home was set on fire by some idiots from the town.'' Checking to make sure the door was shut, he turned to her again. ''So, I guess that means he stays here.'' He said, noting with satisfaction that the bird hopped off the table and back onto Kirstys' shoulder.

Kirsty smiled at the bird and started petting him. "Well i hope he knows im not getting a cage for him. He is free to come and go if he wants." She said to both Markus and the bird as she left her finger on the birds head. She was happy he was staying but didn't want the bird to feel trapped in her house.

''Don't worry, he knows that.'' Markus said, going to sit on the floor again for meditation, wondering for a moment before hand if she realized the bird wouldn't be able to leave once the snowstorm set in. If it did, it would freeze to death.

Kirsty watched him and sat down still petting the bird on her sholder as she watched Markus meditate. She wondered how he could meditate for so long. She would end up falling asleep from being so relaxed. She loked at him closely and wondered if he really fell asleep but could stay sitting up.

Delving once again into his unthought thoughts and unspoken words, Markus realized that in order to understand the instinct that something terrible would soon happen, he had to pay close attention to one of his dreams. He very rarely had dreams, so when he did, he was highly attuned to them. He hovered on a specific one for a moment, before diving right in. Looking around, Markus stood up. Kirsty had gone, and he was alone. He was in the middle of no where, a stark black, barren ground beneath him. It was all of one colour, and there was nothing on it, no difference in the landscape besides a few sloping hills. The sky was a light blue, no clouds in sight, a blinding hot sun beating down on him. He began walking, not entirely sure of which direction he was going in. He knew that if he stayed in this dreaming realm for too long, he lost any chance of returning. He heard a noise, and looked to his left in time to see a giant serpent, its head easily as long as he was tall, abut ten feet away, its body stretching endlessly in the distance. In the real world, Markus hadn't moved, but his eyes had opened, and were staring forward, unblinkingly. They were nothing more than glowing silver discs now.

Kirsty watched Markus open his eyes. She was about to say something to him when she noticed that his eyes where silver and glowing. "I wonder what he is doing" She asked the bird on her sholder receving a chrip in return. She wished she could understand animals like Markus could but she was scared of what they would say. Like if Rosie hated her but only acted happy, that would break her heart to peices if that was to happen.

Markus released a huge wave of electricity through his fingertips. He hadn't known he could do that. Backing up, he glared down at the snake, before walking back over to it and poking it with his foot. It was definitely dead. Sighing, he reached into its mouth and pulled out a fang, before stabbing it into his arm. He needed the venom. He went through agonising pain for a few moments, before standing up once again. He had seen what he needed to see. He closed his eyes and said the incantation that would bring him back. Markus arm started bleeding, just beneath his shoulder. It had a small gash in it, about five centimeters across, but it was bleeding profusely. Blood dripped to a puddle on the floor. The silver glow in his eyes faded, almost disappearing completely, but not quite. There was still an eerie glow to his eyes for a few minutes. Standing up, he looked at Kirsty, wordlessly. He was thinking.

Kirsty gasped and jumped up grabbing a towel. "Markus your bleeding." She shouted scared as she ran over and put the towel on the cut stopping the bleeding. She looked at him worried "what happened? How are you bleeding? You didn't move" She said to him worried she then ran to get the first aid kit before wrapping up he sholder making sure that it was tight enough to hopefuly stop the bleeding.

[[GODDAMNIT. CURSE MY LEFT THINKING BRAIN. -.-']] Laughing, Markus snapped out of it and pushed her away, albeit gently. ''It's... an angel thing. Humans don't do it.'' He said, ignoring completely the cut on his arm, and moving to the door to stack the wood neatly. Glancing up, he saw the first few snowflakes begin to drift silently to the ground.

Kirsty looked at him still worried. "But how did it happen?" She asked him in a sad voice not wanting him to get hurt. She felt a pain in her heart when he is hurt even more so if it has something to do with her. For example him meditating in her house and he got hurt i mean who gets hurt while meditating?

[[lol. Markus? XD]] ''Just a snakes fang dug into my arm, is all.'' He didn't mention the size of the snake. Or the fact that it was a self-inflicted wound. Instead, finished stacking the wood, he went and sat on the couch, glaring disgustedly at the snow that piled up in fluffy blankets outside the door.

Kirsty looked at him in shock. "That happened while you where meditating how can a snake bite you while you where meditating?" She asked before gasping. "What if its venom is inside you killing you and there isnt anything i can do and it my fault i knew the door should of been shut tight. A snake got in a bit you because of me." She said going on a rant about how it was her fault he was hurt. While on the rant she walked into the kitchen then into her room in a rant trance.

''Erm, just to let you know, it was a NyteSnake, not a human realm one. It wasn't your fault.'' Sighing, he stood up, followed her, and turned her around guiding her into the living room again. ''Stay here. We'll stay in this room or as long as possible. Just let me warm it up a bit...'' He muttered something under his breath, and the room instantly felt warm and cheery.

It was too late Kirsty was in a self trance that was hard to get out of. All you could hear from her was mummbles about how everything was her fault and how she was a bad person and doesn't deserve the life her has. (a descussion i have with my self many time) She was in the deepest part of her mind a place where no man or woman would want to go. Inside her head she was in a black room as everyone that she had ever met was around her blaming her for all the things that was wrong in their lives and to her they made scence.

Shaking his head again, Markus sat her down on the couch, before sitting next to her. He knew he should probably do something, but wasn't sure what. With a deep sigh, he rearranged the wood, before warming the room up again, not even noticing when it got to the stage where it felt like a searing hot day in summer.
