I... don't give a damn... you stupid... flea-infected... mangey... hair-ball! Markus shouted to the cat, doubling over once again. Pain was clearly evident on his face, and it eventually became so great the world around him became fuzzy and distorted, his viosion started turning black, and, eventually, he passed out entirely, into a dreamless, fitful state. The pain was still there, he knew it, but it was more like a dull, constant ache in his unconcious state.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Kirsty looked at Rosie and sighed. "He may not want help but all i can do is prey that he gets better. I don't know whats wrong so i don't know what to do." She said to Rosie and then began to prey hoping someone would listen and help them. "Please Who ever is up there please help Markus even if it is myself that has to take his place just please help him" She said in pray hoping someone would hear her. |

Markus was on the couch, his head resting on the arm of the chair. Every few moments, he'd give an involuntary shiver, and his eyes would sometimes flicker open for a second. Before he'd passed out, he'd hoped she didn't start praying. He wasn't exactly in the good books of higher favours, and he refused to apologise. That thought had been drowned out, though, just like his vision and hearing had, the minute he fell unconcious.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

((can i grat her preys?)) Kirsty kept preying and preying and preying. She didn't stop and she knew she wouldn't until someone helped Markus. She didn't care what happened to her as long as he got better. She didn't care if she died to her she thought it might make others happy that she wasn't there to disrupt their lives and everything would go to her parents. Which would make them happy they wouldn't have any money problems either. |

It's all down to fate, now, which isn't the same as higher powers.]] Markus fell deeper into his unconcious state, becoming so limp and lifelss that he didn't even shiver any more. The house was becoming icy cold now, and Kirsty would have been feeling it too, if he hadn't sent a warm up her way earlier. His shoulders slumped, and his breahing became short and erratic.

((yes but they might like Kirsty more XD)) Kirsty felt a chill but kept preying and preying. To her it wasn't for Markus it was for her. No one had treated her as good as Markus did and she was thankful for it and didn't want him to leave her yet. |

The higher powers will do nothing to help Markus at all, whether it is for the good of someone else or no.]] Where the snake had bitten Markus, on his shoulder, just above the wing, two bite marks were clearly visible. The skin around them was deep purple, and the marks themselves oozed a sickly, black liquid down his back.

Kirsty decided since no one was listening to her she would go see if anything had changed. She ran down stairs to him and soon spotted the wound. As she looked at her she decided there was only one thing she could do, and that was to suck the vemon out. She put her lips to the wound and began sucking and spitting the black liquid out making sure not to swallow any.

Markus woke up as he felt someone enter the room. When she begin to do that, he released a volley of swears and curses. ''Stop it... Kirsty, it's not that type of bite...'' No matter how much she got the venom out, more venom would come. If anything, she was hindering the healing process. He was weak at that time, ut still stronger than her, so he pushed her gently away and lifted his wing over the cut. Good luck to her trying to move that out of the way.

Kirsty looked at him. "Well your not telling me how i can help. All i know is your telling me to leave you alone where you could die" She said to him tears falling down her face. "If you die I will too. Your the only one to treat me nice." She said looking down as tears fell on the floor and her hair was covering her face.

''Kirsty... you can't... help me right now...'' Markus said, wanting desperately to tell her it was alright, it wasn't her fault. He couldn't, though. He could barely even speak. Even as he thought these things, his vision blurred once again, and he passed out for the second time.

Kirsty cried. She didn't know what to do so she moved by the chair where Markus was and sat on the floor and cried. She curled up in a ball and put her head on her knees. Please be ok She thought hoping that Markus would live.

Several hours later, Markus began to wake. He had had numbing pain coursing through him, even as he had been unconcious, and that didn't let up any more now that he was awake. Drowsily opening his eyes, he sat up straight and rubbed his shoulder.

Kirsty had fell asleep sitting up with her arms around her knees and her head on them. She had tear stains from crying and her eyes where red and puffy from how long she had been crying for. She hadn't moved from that spot since he had fell unconcious. She felt like she was useless around him and all she could do was wait till he woke up. |

G;ancing down and seeing Kirsty dat there, the temperature of the room became apparant to him. It was worse than icy. ''Kirsty...'' he muttered, ''You... should have gone upstairs. You'd have been... warmer...'' He looked at her face for a moment. Had she been crying? He wanted to do an incantation to warm her up, but knew it was a stupid idea. His mind mulled it over. Should he try anyway?

Kirsty didn't move from her spot. She was curled up so tight she didn't feel the cold and didn't care either. She wanted Markus better and since she couldn't help she would just wait for however long it took. Hearing a voice Kirsty opened her eyes and looked at Markus awake. She smiled at him hapy he was atleast up. "Hey your awake thats good." She said before her eyes closed again. |

Kirsty shuck her head. "No you go up your sick" She said to him. she wanted him to be comfy it might make him better faster. She would be ok where she is, all she wanted was him to be better.
